Agree with some other reviews. It has no real time, when I first start it, for a about 5 minutes app was showing "not running". I was confused and tried multiple things to make it work, but I was needed just wait. Also hot water availability all the time shows different level, it can be full, I exit and run app again, and now it's just half, but nobody used hot water, in a minute it can be full again.

Overall it's ok, but it sure would be nice to actually see the health of both heating elements individually and not just a screen showing several colors. It's either green all the way which is good, or it's not. Also, my screen shows heating when it isn't really heating. That's confusing. How about it showing in real time what's really going on? Thanks if you make changes to your app and make it better. 👍🏻

Great concept poor execution. I installed the econet app for my Richmond hybrid water heater. The energy usage also seems off. I have an energy tracker installed in my house and the app randomly has usage even when the system isn't running. Also the time of usage seems to be off. The biggest complaint is that it only accepts changes via the app about 1/2 the time when not on the same wifi network. So I don't know for sure if it accepted the change until I get home.

Absolute garbage. Cannot recommend this thermostat app to anyone. We were required to use EcoNet with our new HVAC system and I have never experienced a more frustrating app with as many connectivity issues as this. We have been attempting to use the "smart" components of our thermostat for nearly 2 years now, and I can count on one hand the number of times when the app has actually communicated with the physical thermostat. What a brick. Stick with a $20 programmable one, that's all this is.

Useful for monitoring my water heater and everything works like it should. Setup could have been done by a child. My only complaint is that it won't stop asking for location permissions, gave them when I first used the app but I still get asked everytime I open it.

The thermostat does not stay connected to wifi. No other device in my home disconnects from my wifi. The other day I wanted to turn the air down while away from my home and the app said the internet was disconnected. I have reconnected it many times in the last two years. I even asked the company that installed it to help and they said it is a manufacturer issue and to contact them. My parents have the same thermostat. Same exact issue. I can't even go back to have a Nest. Do better.

Unfortunately my Rheem water heater has disconnected itself from Wifi and therfore won't communicate with the app. When I try to reconnect, the app says it does, but it doesn't. I tried removing and readding the water heater, now it says "error when provisioning new equipment." I tried restarting everything involved to no avail. I can't tell if the app is the problem or the water heater's computer, since the app won't tell me.

Have to force close and then restart the app any time you want current data from the water heater or to make a change. The vacation function is garbage, I was unable to setup a schedule due to an "unknown error". I'd taken to setting the mode locally to vacation, planning to change it back before I started home. Now it's time to change back and I can't change the mode, so I'll come home to no hot water! App continuously request location, I don't want home/away scheduling on my water heater!

I agree with the previous comments, the Play Store version of this app simply does not work. If you try to change any setting, it does not "stick," unless you try to change it a bunch of times and get lucky. The previous reviewer who suggested installing it via apk file was 100% correct.. It works as it's supposed to. You run the risk of malicious software being imbeded, but it was a worthwhile risk, imo

You have to keep signing in and out or delete the app and reinstall it. It's too bad they just can't get it right. It's been years now and it never gets any better. A great idea but extremely poorly executed coupled with a very slow server . Must be constantly screwed with to make this piece of junk work . I don't understand why a big company like this can't get it right. !!!!
