NASA's Earth Now is an application that visualizes recent global climate data from Earth Science satellites, including surface air temperature, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, and water vapor as well as gravity and sea level variations. Data sets are visually described using "false color" maps. Color-coded legends are provided to indicate relative strength or weakness of an environmental condition. The resulting 3D model of the Earth may be rotated by a single finger stroke, and may also be zoomed in or out by pinching 2 fingers. It was developed by the Earth Science Communications and Visualization Technology Applications and Development Teams at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, with support from NASA Headquarters.

Looks great and seems to work well, fascinated, puts things in perspective if you know how to analyse the data/. Visuals

Would like even more data and Space Station tracking

Very janky zooming, no proper menus and no metric units makes this app feel like an amateurish weekend project and not something from JPL. earth . nullschool . net in a browser works much better and gives even more data.

It suddenly stopped working... I reinstalled it but didn't help... I waited for a month to see if they have updated it or fixed the issues but unfortunately it's not. Am sad and don't know when the lab will focus on this app to fix the bugs... Will install it when they do.

Absolutely stunning! AMAZING! I was instantly learning and informed, the updated info loaded quickly, the data was vast... Ufff... I'm so impressed! I did feel as if the whole outlook was somewhat dated in its look... Visual overhaul on the horizon? Either way! 5 STARS!

The Apple version has a lot more features, such as displaying wildfires, volcanic eruptions, etc. Why are these not supported in the Android version?

Excellent, but I didn't figure out how to exit this app. Had to reboot phone. Unistalled it due to this problem. I will check back in a week or two to see if there is a reply on how to exit this app.

Interesting app. Though I wished it had a widget option that I could place on my screen much like a weather app/widget so I can see the data all the time without loading the app.

What's going on with this app. Worked fine in the past. Now, it doesn't have buttons like before. Reinstall done, no go. Anyone else having this issue?

It's amazing what NASA can do on a penny budget! The rt data and satellite feeds are incredible for up to date stats to use as a visual aid in discussing climate change! Thank you NASA JPL!
