This was a great app, unfortunately it's longer the case. After playing 3-5 songs application gets stuck. It's not the problem with the internet, application is stuck forever, even getting to WiFi doesn't fix the issue, you need to kill the app and restart, which is impossible because I'm using it while driving, streaming music to car's audio system. Need to find an alternative...

When it works it's great, but I sometimes discover tracks that the app refuses to play - like it can't find the file, but I'm on the same network with strong connection and diletype is the same as other tracks that do play. Three features missing that would help with library: sort albums by year; if I access a compilation album from an artist's album list i'd like to see all tracks from that compilation; Album Artist and Track Artist could be separate views of the library.

The experience is very very unreliable. Sometimes it works, other times it just stops playing for no reason (on great WiFi connection) both in the middle of a song or in the beginning, making me force close the app to get it running again, its just ridiculous the lack of quality control. The app need a serious refresh,both visually and in functionality.

This was supposed to be a simple app: connect to the NAS, pick songs, and (most importantly) play those songs. Unfortunately, some recent update broke it. It randomly gets stuck and stops playing. I shall start looking for alternatives. (I've heard about Jellyfin, gotta try that.)

Somehow every update makes this app worse. I currently have a Pixel 5 and it constantly loses connection, loses my place in the queue or crashes after a few songs. It used to just lose its connection in between uses but I could force quit and restart and it would remember where I was and work fine for that session. Now it just makes me sad. This is the app that I need the most but is the weakest link for my Synology. Please fix this.

Used to work quite well but as other people have said it now stops playing after a couple of songs. You then need to close the app and restart. Then repeat. Pretty much unusable at this point...

DOESN'T WORK NOW AFTER THE UPDATE!!!!! Crashes after every song!!! This used to work 100% until the update now it doesn't work!!! Also there is no TRUE shuffle option with songs, it will replay the same songs over and over before playing others it hasn't played!! I'm so pissed that this program no longer works!!! FIX IT!!

Absolutely infuriating. Remote login can take 2 to 3 minutes and sometimes even longer, even with fast Internet connection at my device and the NAS, latest DSM and audiostation version etc. Lot's of bugs (e.g. "remove all" command to clear the playlist doesn't work, problems when switching between local player on device and DLNA streaming). I've tried getting support from Synology but they've essentially just told me there's nothing wrong. I would not buy a Synology NAS again.

Latest update has made this completely unstable. Fails to play files (even though it can play others from the same record, ripped at the same time and in the same format), crashes, doesn't display the right file being played. Very disappointing.

turn off that stupid audio indicator in the app, and add dark mode. the audio slider is bugged out as well, it starts at the end of the slider, also the synology says "failed to play(whatever song)" then it gives that error for the entire playlist. come on fix ur bugs.
