    Customer service is a joke. My payments for Dropbox plus successfully processed, but Dropbox downgraded me to basic bc they didn't receive it. I sent the confirmation receipts, but they still wouldn't restore my account to plus. They said it was an issue with the Google store, but Google verified everything was right on their end. Dropbox refuses to take responsibility and fix their mistake. They kept telling me to get a refund- I don't want a refund, I want the plus access I paid for.

    apk Broke handling of unknown file extensions months ago; still not fixed. I primarily use the app for files with an uncommon extension, which I've made "available offline". Starting a few months ago, when I open the file and it's already cached locally, the Dropbox app doesn't give me a choice of app to use and tries to open it with the wrong app. The only way to get it to work is to turn off offline access and turn it back on. This means I can't open the file at all if I'm actually offline!

All of your work "may" randomly disappear when you go from offline to online!!! > Ya, three full days of gone in an instant. This included what I thought was "being saved!" 2. There's something very odd going on at the bottom of the page. If you write down there it may never show up when you save your doc and open it in another tablet. 3. Completely missing the standard formatting templates the pc version has....

    Really didn't help me. I was sent a link by email to add a file to a Dropbox, and couldn't see any way to do it. I added the app, hoping that would help, but got a notification that was too many devices and I'd have to subscribe. Working with Dropbox on my desktop didn't give me any more success, even when I enabled "Dropbox for Gmail," so I have no incentive to pay for this app. Maybe it only works if you're a paying subscriber. I find this very opaque on any device.

    I would use this app more if it didn't crash half a second after I opened it, every time I opened it. I have sent the feedback logs in when prompted more times than I can count. If this service didn't have all the photos of my sisters wedding stored on it, I'd cancel my subscription. As it is, I'm paying for a service I can't use, to keep pictures I can't access. TLDR; App won't open. 1/10. Would not recommend this app.

    Just like everyother 1 star rating i've read, i've also had thee same exact problems with your app. I have files missing, I have files that were "saved" but then could not retrieve them offline like i was suppose too be able too, Now I just am gonna go take this BS off my subscrtptions and then uninstall it. If you dont want these issues then stear clear of this app in my personal opinion.

    Turning off captions in the app would make it a lot better. Scrolling through pictures and having them cut off by the comments label showing up each time. I don't use comments so I should be able to turn them off. I have to tap on each image for it to go away and it shows up again once I swipe.

    Why all of a sudden this brilliant app has become disappointing. I can't download my files anymore from the app unless I am a premium user. As a regular user I had only 2GB and I was quite satisfied with it. All of my important data is there and I can't get them. Please make download/offline option available for regular user.

    It's a pretty good app and reliable service overall but there are caveats. Too expensive compared to other similar services. Mediocre customer service. Annoying pop-ups (editing and notation tools) on mobile when browsing pictures. When sharing with others who don't have Dropbox, they think they have to download the app to view files. Sharing files needs to be seemless.. just give them the file already. Latest app update no longer features dark mode on Android 10.

    The app is buggy. Sometimes doesnt update, have to uninstall and reinstall. The biggest thing for me though, why is there such a massive premium service. You can have free which has hardly any storage space, or you can have premium which has more than a normal person needs which is why it's so expensive.

    Team Dropbox, Few years ago I uploaded personal audio clip. On that time I downloaded offline and check as it is properly working or not. This year I needed that recipe audio I recorded showing 0 kb. It looks like my audio file got *corrupted* in Dropbox. I always use Anti Virus and then upload my stuff on Dropbox. It raises questions in my mind that it is safe to keep files in Dropbox for longer time?

    The app's been the same and working fine for me, but what happened to your dark mode? I'm on a samsung and I'm using the latest version of this app, but I can't find it anywhere. I've always enabled dark mode ever since I had my phone. I checked online to see how I can reenable it, but the option for that feature can't be found anywhere in the settings. I'd love to use dark mode again, as I tend to use this app during nighttime.

    Automatically subscribed without me needing to enter my credit card details so be careful with that everyone. They must have got those details from another inapp purchase i had done previously on a completely different app and the worst part is its a nightmare to unsubscribe!! Didnt manage to figure it out so i just cancelled the bloody credit card, would rather waste it on getting another card than give these scammers another dollar.

    I'm ok with using this app on more devices, it's simple, reliable and ok. No bugs or losing files so far. But there should be an option to turn off comment/activity tab when opening pictures on mobile device, it's kinda annoying and demands extra tap to show picture how it should be in the first place.

    Okay app but I don't like that you have to pay a monthly fee for this app when you could download Google Drive, which is a similar app, for free. Also I have had several situations where I have downloaded pictures or memes and then went to look at them later just to see that they say thumbnail not available and I have now lost that picture or meme

    It's similar to a classroom. Students login listen to lesson, watch video shared by host, draw n demonstrate through whiteboard, you can even share pdf through share option. You can watch the participants, there is option to mute n unmute others. It's a easy n good app.

    At first it was great for several years then they decided to change things of mine now recently they have scrambled all my files so pictures that I had for family and pictures I had for work or not one file and they decided to get rid of some of my photos I can't find them at all so do I like it hell no.

    Be careful. If you accidentally sync this with a pc, it'll randomly fill your entire space with your files, and when you remove them to free space it'll delete them from your pc too. Terribly stupid feature that only stands to do harm. Still can't find some of my old files

    There's no way to download folders, only files. If I want to download a folder containing an artist's mp3s, with each album in its own folder, I have to download the individual songs and recreate the folders on my device. Infuriating. Edit: I can't actually download anything. The app says that the files have downloaded, but none of it can be found on my phone. I'm downgrading my rating to one star.

    I was emailed a link today to a Gmail account that I don't use for Dropbox yet I received it. I checked my Dropbox accounts. the largest usage I have on the most used dbox is 25%. The email looked legitimate.

    Usually if you have link leading to an app on the phone, the app will pick up the link without it going to a browser.. Dropbox does not pick up links automatically, I always open dropbox links from the browser.

    Dropbox mobile client can't find right app when opening some types of files (example- 7z archives) when appropriate app is already installed. They get opened correctly when browsing through file manager.

    One of the best cloud services in the world. Yet, you don't have the feature to upload a folder. What a shame!! In an app like dropbox you need to upload each file one by one. Literally no option for uploading a folder let alone features like auto sync. What is the point of buying space here at all. I suggest people to choose other service over dropbox.

    Definitely the best cloud storage out there. I used it as my first one ever and was impressed. After sometime wandering around, here I am coming back. Although the storage is only 2GB, which is insufficient for our day and age; the performance is highly compensating for it. The upgrades are convenient in case you need more space. Truth is, I was taken aback by its ability to read epub files when I would normally have to download extra applications for it. Thanks for your work.

    As much as I love Dropbox on my PC, the Android app is utterly broken and useless. Downloading a file into offline mode means that after some random time, it will just disappear and you have to download it again. Also if the device goes to sleep during the download of a larger file, then after waking you have to start over. I tried to work around this by exporting files - downloading directly into the phone's filesystem, but after you confirm that you want to export a file, it either does absolutely nothing, or just creates an empty file.

    This app just wants your money, and nothing else. It only gives you 2GB space for free, while every other cloud service gives you 15GB for Free! This app is not user friendly either. When you upload something, it's like it compresses it, but you cannot uncompress it. You have to Unistall the app and then Re-Install it to use another account. I'd like to change between dark and bright themes inside the app. And one more thing: Stop asking for Premium Plan if I don't want it!!

    All these features to leave comments and share files are profoundly annoying, and we need an option to shut off these pop-ups when browsing on mobile. Also it's a terrible look to suddenly restrict the number of active devices while competitors are running laps around y'all with far more free storage space. Dropbox feels like the Skype of cloud storage services.

    It works well, but it covers alot of data b4 it get settled as an useful app to work with, when u want to bring down all ur documents & informations to offline it doesn't work faster then it supposed to, unlike other apps, but more so the logo is unique and beautiful.

    Your system wrongly, inaccurately, incorrectly claims there are special characters in the name when there are no such characters. Unlike your now screwed up app, I can read. I'm sick of this damn war between you and Microsoft. Fix your app so it stops blocking uploads -- or I'll go elsewhere. I need Microsoft more than I need you!!

    The print option is not presenting under the share option nor among the main tasks menu. I only got this app because course materials are distributed to students using this resource. If I have to have three other apps to print my documents, I'm wasting precious time and disk space funneling documents on the same device to different apps. Taking 20 minutes to print eight pages is very frustrating. And I didn't even want this app to begin with.

    When I open a folder I'm told I need the latest updated app. When I update the app I'm told again to update. 10 times in a row. Then I'm told I need more space. So I delete most of my outdated files only to find I still need more space. For 1 stupid folder. Gimme a break. Will it not make nice-nice w/ Android anymore? Thanks for not making that clear.     Hasn't evolved much in a few years. Accounts are hacked and little customer support. I can't share any files, it says I don't have permission yet I am the only owner on the account. I try to share and it tells me I can't share since I've reached some maximum limit. If I can't share or export the photo or video what am I paying for? The cloud space that others offer for free?

    After multiple trials, it still takes days to upload multiple photos and usually fails to complete. Furthermore, when I signed up for a free trial and tried to cancel it, the instructions provided online proved not to work. This seems to be intentional and a way for Dropbox to keep users paying, which is not right.

    I've been using Dropbox for around 5 years, it has been very useful, I like because I can work on any Microsoft document inside the app, and it doesn't modify how it looks when I open it outside the app. It's nice all your documents synchronized in different devices. Another thing that I prefer working on Dropbox rather than for example Google drive or One Drive is that you can download documents from the internet directly to your Dropbox. It allows you to attach docs directly from the app.

    Bad fonts in new versions! And I can't open *.kdb files from the app: it doesn't recognise such file type any more (but old version did it!)

    So far so good. Considering the mediocre mobile apps for Google Drive and OneDrive, this Dropbox app is a welcome departure. It's snappy, sensibly laid out, has a great PDF reader and has decent swiping navigation. The only thing I'd like to see added is being able to select the exact device folders for syncing images and files, and a photo view that is optimised to look beautiful and like a gallery.

    Excellent App. Operationally. Very useful. The ONLY bad for me is recently there a monthly $ cost to use this app now. Because I rarely use this app (possibly 6-10 times a yr) this monthly cost fee is not $ prudent for me. A Win-Win Fix: It would be fair for the app dev to have 2 Dropbox apps: 1. Basic App (free of charge) 2. Extra Options App ($ subscription fee) In the end, all will benefit from this upgrade - light & heavy users of app & app dev still make a $ profit off app too.

    This is by far the worst app I have ever downloaded. I do not understand how they want people to pay a sub for this app when it barely even works. I was forced to download it because my friend sent me 51 pictures on it. Every time I tried to download the 51 photos it would only actully download 1 or 2 photos, but the next download it said it would have to overide all 51 photos. On top of all that the user interface is very counter intuitive. I wouldnt use this app if it was free much less pay

    Useful and easy to use and upload to. But downloading things from Dropbox on an android is an absolute pain. It's practically impossible to download multiple things at once because of the navigation screen, and downloading individual things doesn't always work either. Edit: seems to be better, but still not a smooth and easy hung to do

    Horrible app and aweful for transferring pictures from phone to computer even over wifi, pictures will go to drop box but will not appear in the same dropbox folder on the computer. I have the 30 day trial so multiple devices and file size should not matter. I was also using it for this purpose this morning and it was working fine but consistently stops working at random times. I will be using Google Drive from now on and honestly can't wait to be rid of dropbox once I get my files off of it.

    Fails to recognize changes to "Offline" files, even when online. Only works if you edit file from within Dropbox, which is limiting. May be a bug because Dropbox used to recognize new versions and sync offline files edited with other apps (v202.2.2). It's a drag to discover that Dropbox will no longer keep these files synced across my devices.

    Dropbox in not user friendly, stupid simple and the Dropbox application help is almost worthless. Dropbox is expensive, especially considering that it doesn't easily work to back up photos. Some of my older pictures previously in Dropbox are not to be found in Dropbox now. I and others cannot figure out how to copy all of my photos from Dropbox to another backup such an external hard drive.

    Love using Dropbox for personal cloud storage. Easily share data between mobile and personal devices. Works on android, iOS, Mac, and Windows. Wish the touch interaction with the photo viewer was a little better since a lot of the files I share are photos, otherwise it offers pretty comprehensive capabilities for an affordable price.

    I wanted to upgrade from Basic to Plus but was unable to do this either via the app or the website. Every time I clicked to upgrade and selected Plus, it would just take me back to my personal account page. I emailed support - no response. I asked the Community/Super Users - no help either. I have switched to another service (very quick and easy to do AND significantly cheaper) and would not recommend Dropbox to anyone who needs more than the basic storage amount.

    I absolutely love the idea, I just wish the functionally was more consistent. Opening text files on phone tends to crash the app frequently, and support had not been any help with this ongoing problem. Few weeks ago photo uploads from phone stopped working for no reason, gonna try to reinstall app to see if this fixes it.

    RTF files edited and saved on either of my android devices won't upload. It's as if they were never opened our edited. (Docx, jpg sync as expected.) Just lost a full day's work - I saved the file many times, but cloud version history is the one from this morning. All other syncing for other file types is working. Just not RTF.

    I don't need to have constant - non-dismissable reminders WASTING screen real estate. I want this new version of the app to ask where I want to upload the items I selected after I spent exclusive time selecting them. It should not have promoted for a repeat fingerprint authentication. I was continuously using the app to select 20 files that it uploaded to - who knows what folder, because it couldn't be bothered to present me with a dialogue box of directories! APP STABILITY & USABILITY FAIL!

    Dropbox sweats the user experience details as commendably as it required to reliably sync files everywhere a user may need them. When a company is charging money for a product - as Evernote does for all above its most basic services and same for Dropbox - you understand its incentive for sticking with that product. The team was unbelievable, and Dropbox was a really easy, simple to use product. This technology we want to be working at now and it has the potential to be the next big cloud storage

    The Dropbox app is NOT good right now....I USED to be able to send photos/Docs from my Dropbox to others via email, and they WERE able to open the email and view my photo or Doc without any problem. NOW Dropbox WON'T allow my recipients/contacts to view anything I email them UNLESS, they download the Dropbox app too. Pretty shady and sneaky way for Dropbox to make more $$$$$$, and frustrating for thoes who ALREADY have the app and paying monthly for it can't even send a photo or doc hmmmm....

    Not user friendly but I paid for the subscription for over 2 years. My files were deleted, not by me. Dropbox can only replace these files if i find them and send a screeshot of the many deleted files. I will be canceling this horrible app. All my memories are gone thanks to Dropbox, the PAID version.

    DROPBOX JUST WORKS! But only 2gb free, so I have to juggle things out of Dropbox to Google (15gb free) now and then. Dropbox syncing works seemlessly on my Macbook and iPad, and I would GLADLY pay for more storage, but NOT their only upgrade offer of $11.99 a month for a massive two terabytes. C'mon Dropbox, even iCloud has tiers, starting with 50gb for just 99 cents.

    Do not download the free trial because it is impossible to cancel. I asked support to help give me with instructions how to cancel, but the information they provided me on several occasions was not accurate, and convinced. I think it is intentional so you can't cancel.

    It's a really good music app because you can actually listen to it off line and not pay for it but the reason it's 4 stars is because it doesn't go to the next song by itself, you have to physically press the next song. You won't believe how many times I got in trouble for changing the song while doing yard work, them thinking I was playing on my phone.

    Garbage! It takes ages to download your videos (assuming they system doesn't fail.) It takes your videos and photos and puts them in low resolution settings and takes them off your computer systems meaning these worse versions of your photos and videos are all you have left of the original copies.

Dodgy as. No virus detected.

    I've tried multiple times to upload larger (<300mb) files from my phone to Dropbox, it just hangs and fails. When I contact the chat bot "help" it just complains about a Logged in error and is no help at all.

    Really don't like that when browsing photos it now always shows info above and below the picture each time I swipe to the next even if I tapped to hide it on the previous one. It makes it not work for slideshows now. Showing the info and comments should be optional, ideally as a setting.

    Replete with glitches. Refuses to open links sent via text or what'sapp. Won't allow SD memory card to be used as internal storage. Support forces you to login with a different PW, wtfo. Going back to ONEDRIVE, this is not ready for small businesses that have remote workers.

    The silly smart sync feature is totally not smart at all. All we need is a space where we want to dump our files into, there is NO need for dropbox to automatically sync the desktop and document, and in the process of doing so, messed up my entire outlook pst files. Ridiculous.

    Swiping through images is a nuisance now. If I want to view them full screen, it should default to the same view at each swipe rather than pulling up the comment box (which I never use) every time. Otherwise the app is useful.

    I don't like how when I'm viewing an image, if I swipe to the next image, it brings up the comments box, the name, and the buttons at the top. Can you please make it so that if I tap the image to get rid of the comment box and all the other stuff, they don't come back up when I swipe to the next image?

    I am very upset to know that a link has been sharing on this app with unconsented minors and women nudes. I made several reports to dropbox and other women did the same. Nothing came out of it. People are allowed to share your person pictures and there's absolutely nothing that can be done. There is no access or option on the folder itself to report it. This is utter madness. You need to look into this matter because it's child photography.

    When scanning laptop screens it excludes the date and time which is a real pain, price to upgrade is really high so google drive is probably better. I would use Dropbox to backup all my computer online if it allowed and was affordable.

    Why does this constantly stop doing camera uploads in the background? I'll find that I don't have recent photos synced on other machines and the syncing will not happen until I launch the app.
