    Auto upload doesn't work anymore. I used to have it where would automatically load directly to my PC so I could use the pictures that I took on my phone very quickly. Since they changed their software and I updated I can no longer do that unless I pay for an account. Looking for another alternative to Dropbox now.

    Difficult to navigate. I am going round and round in circles from menu to menu and there is no explanation of how any of it works. I need to change the email on the account as it no longer exists. I cannot get any help from customer services. They ignore my questions. Am stuck now with these documents etc on here cant move them cant even delete them. Awful app

    The website streams videos wonderfully. I can skip around a video without issue. But I had to get the app because you can't watch longer than an hour on the site. The app is horrible. On either wifi or 5g, it lags regularly, and if you try to skip to a different point in the video it will stop and buffer for 20-25 minutes. Website has no buffer and plays instantly. Fix your app. Edit: (2 months later, no better. Streaming a video is still abysmal even on version fios high speed net)

    Would have given zero stars if possible. Purchased the Dropbox Plus 30-day free trial but found it to be not useful. So cancelled the Plus subscription on the Dropbox app. However, the subscription continued because I did not cancel it via the Play Store. Only realized this after receiving credit card statement. However, both Google Play support and Dropbox support refused to process my refund. Both parties pushed the responsibility to refund to each other. Google Play claims to just be a store front and cannot process "third-party" refund. Dropbox claims that they do not have access to Google Play payment platforms and all purchases made via the Play store cannot be refunded via Dropbox itself. USELESS and beware when you get the free trial.

    Impossible to use. It's not even that inaccessible, I would be fine if it was just complicated, but no, it's just useless. It is near impossible to upload photos to the correct folders on mobile, it seems to randomly select a folder to put the photos in and you cannot change this, I have been trying to back up photos of a friend of mine who passed away for an hour but this app is making it nearly impossible. Would not recommend.

    I regularly open pdf files in Acrobat via the editing option in Dropbox on my phone. It happened plenty of times that changes on documents are lost after switching to a different app. I have lost days of work in the last years highlighting and making comments on academic papers that are finally not saved. Very disappointing.

    There's no way to full screen videos. It worked before now it doesn't. I've tried reinstalling, clearing cache, tapping all over the place but the side bar/menu doesn't go away at all. Makes it frustrating to look at any video file.

    54% increase without confirmation, really this is another case of tech companies screwing Australians over! In a global crisis btw. I never once gave consent for such a massive price hike for such a stupid amount of data that I don't need and definitely don't want. Yes this is probably hidden within pages of small print that you know nobody reads, but to actually hike your prices up over 50% in one hit is below the belt to say the least. And customers in other countries only received 20% more.??

    Really good storage app, although 2gb isn't what it used to be (pcloud gives you 5, mega gives you 20) Still, great app for free cloud storage I recomend not putting things there you plan to shuffle back to the phone. It can be difficult to export from.

    I can't get past the terms of services. The box never allows me to check it. Stays grey, even after scrolling through the fine print, terms service. Go through all of the extra links within the terms, nothing, box stays grey.

    Since a certain update I have been finding it hard to export photos from dropbox to my device. It acts as if a certain photo has been exported but will not show said photo on the album I selected until days later. This problem stilll hasn't been fixed.

    I can no longer save pictures from my Quicpic folders. It's now all or nothing. I used to be able to choose what folder I wanted to save pictures from, now it shows all my photos regardless of source.

    Garbage is the only word to describe this. It wont save my files for offline use or save them to my device and that was the only reason I even got this app. It just crashes over and over.

    Useless for android users. Simply works terribly on my android phone. Designed for desktop sharing I guess and offers no interaction with working on files on my mobile once the file is in the Dropbox folder. Hence useless

    Maybe the worst app I've ever used. It is useless because it won't let you download anything to your phone. A quick Google search proves many people have the same problem.

    I selected a few files from many, saved to a folder in the mobile device. Then I wanted to delete the saved files: Do you want to delete the folder from Dropbox? The selected files became unselected after save. Now which ones were saved as all are versions of the same file.

    I have been a PAYING 10TB customer for years and I'm done!!! this app and it's latest updates (updates over the last year) are horrendously GARBAGE! None of my pics that I take will ever sync up to my DB account unless I go in and manually push them there. The PC application once installed freshly is fine until the first time I connect my phone to it and then i get the infamous error "smart sync is experiencing an issue" and will never go away from there. If I uninstall the PC app, uninstall it off my phone, reinstall it all, it's fine UNTIL i connect my phone back to the account at which point same ignorant error message appears. Until about 6 months ago I NEVER had an issue with my phone synching to my dropbox account, now it's nothing more than a piece of junk! I WILL NOT RENEW MY ACCOUNT AGAIN..

    Dropbox is a very powerful file synchronization service. However, the Android app is much less useful compared to the desktop app. The desktop app creates a synchronized folder on the device; the Android app is hardly more useful than accessing your files through the Dropbox website. Android devices are so much more powerful than they used to be, but Dropbox hasn't caught up. Please introduce the Dropbox folder to the Android filesystem like the desktop app does.

    LOGIN KEPT FAILING. UNKNOWN ERROR. Having reset my phone and reinstalled my apps, the pre-installed version of Dropbox was updated. When I then tried to access my Dropbox files using my backup app, it wouldn't complete the login process. After going in circles, I tried the Dropbox app and it too couldn't complete the sign-in process. Spent ages trying different things, including suggestions listed on the Dropbox support page, none of which worked. Eventually I uninstalled the update and reverted to the preinstalled version and hey bloody presto, I was able to connect using both my backup apps as well as the Dropbox app. Conclusion, this latest version is *%^#.

    I have used Dropbox for years and always loved it, but today I tried to open a PDF from the web and it aggressively took over my preferences. I wanted to open the PDF with another program so I could fill it out, but the preference was decided for me to use Dropbox. I had to uninstall Dropbox to get it to let me open the PDF reader I wanted to use. Dropbox has displayed some sketchy aggressive behavior before, but I thought that had all been worked out. I guess not. I'm very disappointed.

    I had used paid Dropbox for 5 years. Long ago, it was better than Onedrive but not today. The price is expensive while Onedrive is cheaper and gives 6 accounts of 1TB each for family members plus 6x5=30 licenses of Office 365 for PC, Android and iOS. Thanks when when they increased the price on old customer from $100 to $120 and forced me to take 2TB which triggered me to shop and compare and found better & cheaper Onedrive. Onedrive is more for less. Dropbox is good but competition is coming.

    Not that great and not enough space can only get 5, 3 minute videos and a hand full of picture (low quality). Would be a lot better if you didn't have to pay for space recommend not bothering only if your going to put a video or two on there. The bits I do like though is the way that you can share and access folders over multiple accounts and devices also it doesn't take to long to download anything to it.

    How far the mighty have fallen! What was once a dependable go-to for promptly backing up the photos and videos from my phone has now become a complete joke. The sleeping giant no longer auto-uploads no matter what setting I use. Now I have to go in manually & hand choose all the photos and videos I want backed up and then set my screen to stay on for 10 minutes or it will stop uploading. It's bad enough to make me want to go back to Hightail. What a waste!

    Not a fan at all, have to give billing details as no choice to opt for the free version. Cancel process not overly clear, then you find out you get downgraded to the free version when this happens. Keep seeing people saying they are still being billed. Why can't we access the free one and then upgrade?? Hate feeling like I've been scammed into a product. Only use it for 1 day as a friend could only share in that format. Will actively tell people to avoid been on Google Drive for years- brilliant

    If you have access to the site and the app, somehow, for some shady capitalist reason, they are two different things. Meaning, if you cancel your subscription on one, the other platform will still charge you and will not issue you a refund. However your access to data reverts to your cancelled plan. Customers service experience is also frustrating and not helpful.

    Camera uploads has stopped working. I have re-installed the app and checked all the settings, but still refuses to work. Please fix, because camera uploads is the main reason I use Dropbox and I have been relying on it for many years without problems.     It used to be a lot better with 5 stars. Now it's down to 2. Every time I open a picture, a screen pops up saying "start a discussion". Am I using the wrong version of this app? Or have they morphed it into some new app that takes me out of their demographic now? I don't understand it, why mess with something when it is working perfectly the way it was? I don't want or need Facebook, it feels like that is what they are wanting to be.

    I use it mostly for backing up photos from my phone. I have a samsung and the automatic backup only saves the camera roll, not downloaded pics, or whatsapp pics/videos. So you have to manually upload those to dropbox. And then they don't integrate smoothly. They don't show up in the main photos tab, and when you find your photos, they appear out of order. Using the app is fine, moving to folders is fine, but the backup feature isn't great

    I'm really starting to hate Dropbox. I have tried everything and wasted hours trying to sign out of an account I forgot I had on an old computer so I can use the Dropbox account that I have on my phone and laptop. NOTHING IS WORKING! Once you sign in, there's no way to sign out! It's making me pissed off and thinking of going elsewhere for file sharing.

    Further to my first review -- all my files have disappeared!!😠😠 so how do i get them back. I have been using Dropbox on my tablet for over two years and have been delighted with the app. Then I got a message that Dropbox has stopped, and I can't access any of my files which is very frustrating as I have stored all my needlework patterns and all my household receipts here and can't access them. Now all my files have gone. Any suggestions for recovery😨

    Not so excited anymore. I've been using Dropbox for about 6 years to backup pics from my phone. I had earned additional storage space to the point of having 8GBs available to me. Lately, I've been having issues with my files and pictures staying synched between devices. Instead of being able to file my pics and documents away, I write this while I wait for my past week's images to be available to me. I'm off to research other services while I wait for synching to complete.

    I paid annual subscription fees but in fact i am dissapointed. Searching by content feature, Dropbox will only index the first 50,000 words of each document. Which make it impossible to find what I am searching of when the files are a little bit with large size. I have moved my files to the online option to save desk space. Now i am stuck and have to send them back to local option on my PC. I didn't expect such weakness in Dropbox.

    Horrendous application routinely fails at backing up my cell phone pics. That's the only thing I ask Dropbox to do. It does work for a while then it randomly stops backing up for no apparent reason. And you have no idea that it has decided to stop..... you think your photos are being protected but they are not. NEXT!!!

    Google pay scammed me years ago for 14.99 twice a month for "services" but paypal could not tell me what services and i still don't know what it could have been since i didn't use my phone or computer for any games or anything special. I don't trust google play and don't understand why you want my location turned on to use dropbox?

    It used to be a great app. Reading your PDFs is almost impossible. Whenever you scroll down, the app crashes. Exporting a file is a useless button. Uploading is still fine, but that's all. I tried deleting and downloading the app, cleaning the cache, opening the file through other apps, but nothing.

    I've used drop box for years, I only use it to share a few pdf files with my business partners. It works great for that. What I hate is that I have been upgraded twice now, without wanting an upgrade, and it has been very difficult to get refunds. They make it tricky when opening the app on new devices.

    Be warned! I cancelled dropbox plus through the dropbox website 2 days before it auto-renewed (and I very clearly remember this because they make you go through about 3 separate fudging screens, confirming again and again that yes you do want to cancel), but the play store charged me again anyway. I contacted Dropbox and they said it was Google's problem, and even though I'm in my 14 day refund period, Google are refusing to refund me as well. So I'm out a tenner for a service I didn't even want

    Used Dropbox Business for 2 years. When tried to switch from annual plan to monthly, the system would not let me. Syncing stopped. Card payment not accepted, paypal payment giving 550 error page. Tried it dozen times, got error that billing is failing and I should contact support. Contactsd support 10 times, logged 3 tickets. 3 days no action. This bad business customer support service. NOT ACCEPTABLE! 3 days office computers out of sync. This hugely affected our work. Dropbox support is slow..

    If I could give 0 stars rating I would! The worst customer service! I cancelled my subscription, 2 T of data obviously was taken away and still was charged for it. Tried to contact Google play, they couldn't refund as payment went through to Dropbox. I contacted Dropbox, they can't do anything. So taking money for service they didn't provide! Just have in mind that that's how they make their money. Shame on you Dropbox! There are way better services out there. Just avoid these guys

That is Why your Rating went from a 5 🌟 App. to just a Two 🌟 App. ***DEGOO**** Works just as well as Dropbox but Degoo allows you to "Earn Space" by Watching "Ad Video's."     Was able to upload a very large video file that i wanted to share with another user. However, why can't I access a library instead of being presented with all my photos. It necessitated scrolling thru hundreds of pics until i found the right one. Why can't it access the Android file system. My thumb is still sore from that ordeal.

    Stop working a couple of days ago on both my Android phone, and my Android tablet. Crashes straight out when it is selected. Checked it is upto date. (Maybe the latest auto update is what killed it). Up to then I would have give it 4 stars. So now I can't access any of my files on either device!!!!!

    Worst online cloud service. Coincidently, it's the worst since partnering with Google. Continuously tells me my password is wrong and makes me reset. Now it's done it again (and for the last time) but this time I have to contact "customer support". Nope. Bye bye DropBox.

    Have had the app for years and never had a problem. All of a sudden my password no longer let's me in. I have updated the app and i still can't get into the app with my password.     after the free trial of unlimited space if you're using more than what it drops down to they NEVER delete ANY of your stuff ...EVER even after years of barely logging in. This was my go to app for a long time and I would swear by it and recommend it to everyone until about a year and a half ago when A BUNCH OF MY FILES WERE DELETED (not at their fault I'm sure) i believe it was probably my 3 year old nephew that used to play on my old tablet but I contacted them as soon as I noticed but

    They took 750.00!! I was using the basic version just signed up about a month ago, last night I was charged 750.00!! For a business account I didnt sign up for, now I cant call or get in touch with anyone, the phone number tells you to go to there website and the email wrote with an automatic responce, someone please help!!

    The content that is uploaded in Dropbox is being scanned by what they describe as 'trusted third parties'. They include the likes of Amazon and Google. These are not parties that I trust, though. I will therefore discontinue to use most of their services and switch to a more secure cloud service provider.

    Terrible experience with the subscription. Signed up to get pictures from a photoshoot and canceled it before the monthly renewal or so I thought......just got charged for a monthly renewal fee. What a shady way to do business, I'd rather leave a bad review and tell people how they make money than waste my time sitting on the phone trying to get my money back just to have some foreign customer help rep. Tell me there nothing they can do

    I had a hard time getting good, clear scanned documents to my liking, however, this might be due to user error rather than the app! I'm asking the developer for a refund and hopefully I'll hear from them soon.

    I cancelled the premium subscription via the website. I realized that I still got billed for the Android app subscription. Canceling premium membership from one place should have been enough. A user should not be forced go to 5 different platforms to cancel one membership. Horrible user experience as far as subscriptions go.

    Every year it gets a little worse. I installed it today snd it said i needed to remove 21 devices. I recommended many people to dropbox over the years and infact i had 100 GB free becuase of it. Not no moe. Off to google drive i guess. Never count on this free stuff to stick around

    Now displays a comments box and opens keyboard when viewing documents, obscuring most of the page. No option to turn it off. Apparently option exists in business version. I pay enough for this thing. Annoying customers into paying more money never turns out well.

    Great app before when I lost my phone or it broke, i would have lost all my pictures and with this you can't lose anything just download the app then log in to find everything you saved on it... GREAT APP SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT LOOSING ANYTHING JUST ADD IT TO DROPBOX AND IT'S THERE AND ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS DOWNLOAD.

    This a three star because I recently got an Android and when I try to listen to my audio recordings on it it won't play in the app and then I have to use Google play to run it, it always randomly stops playing. However it works fine on my iPod. Fix that bug and it's a 5 for me

    Awesome (1 exception). It has a password security option which Google Drive unfortunately OMITS. The only exception is a recent (Jan 2020) glitch which crashes their PDF viewer. Fortunately, I can press the PDF file and choose a different default viewer.

    2 GB and 3 devices to use, it's rather stingy in my opinion. Long gone are the days when this app was a good standard. it seems to me now to be just the remains of that. I have switched to Google and Microsoft and I barely use dropbox anymore.

    Uploading photos is not good - it just show every photos on the device (no folder option) when i tried to upload using google photos and then share to drop box he says "too much images use the app" it was just 54 images not too much and I dont want to do this using the app!!

    This application has made my life so much easier, especially since I can use it for work projects and also my personal life. I only wish it were easier to organize the files. I log into it on my computer to reorganize everything saved on my android.

    Complete garbage. It's completely impossible to select multiple items to be uploaded. When I use a competently written app to select multiple pictures to be uploaded it fails and directs me to use this garbage instead.

    Was able to upload my files from old phone but unable to download them to new phone no matter how many times I select 'Save file to device'. Revising: no select all & download - which is ridiculous for 2020; I had to manually download every file and image. 😭

    Never had a problem signing in, uploading, file retrieval, and syncing to/from Android/windows pc..., But I won't give a developer above 3 if the don't respond to people input/feedback.. otherwise 2gb free storage to start 👌
