With all your files organized in one central place, you can safely sync them across all your devices and access them anytime, anywhere. Features like Dropbox Spaces, starred content, offline access, and a doc scanner make collaborating with others simple.

• Dropbox Spaces brings context to your work with an overview of folder descriptions, to-dos, and important pinned files.
• Work with your Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint files, and Dropbox Paper docs.
• Offline access to get to your most important files, even without connectivity.
• A document scanner to turn receipts, documents, whiteboards, and notes into PDFs.

Sign up now for a Dropbox Plus free trial. You’ll get 2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage—that’s enough room to save files from all your linked devices. And Dropbox Smart Sync technology can move out-of-date files off your hard drive and to the cloud. You’ll also be able to roll back unwanted changes to any folder, or your entire Dropbox, up to 30 days.

Or, existing Plus customers can upgrade to Dropbox Professional. With 3 TB (3,000GB), you can store all your stuff—from work projects to personal photos—and have space to spare. You and your clients can comment on most file types without leaving Dropbox. And you can protect your work with a watermark, add shared link controls, or rewind your account up to 180 days.

Before completing payment, you’ll see the plan price. This amount will be charged to your Google Play account and will vary by plan and country. Dropbox subscriptions purchased in app renew monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. To avoid auto-renewal, turn it off in at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime time from your Google Play account settings.

Reviews From google play store

I have been a Dropbox free user and evangelist since it started. I use it on all my devices, Windows; Android; several Macs and now on a tablet. It has been easy to use and very reliable. I am very very disappointed that the free version is now restricted to only 3 devices at one time. This makes Dropbox useless for me as my password manager software file will no longer be available to me on all my devices. A cynical and underhanded ploy to make more people pay for what was promised as a 'free' app.

Been using Dropbox for years. Trust it and love it! The app needs a couple features, one biometrics login via face unlock for the new Google Pixel 4. Needs a transfer button, or transfer page, because i can't seem to find the feature in the app only via PC which i don't use very often. Also streaming video is a pain, as soon as you try to fast forward or rewind the app stops streaming the video. Real bad experience on Android. I don't get that when using Dropbox on ios.

I'm really disappointed in this company. I've been a Dropbox user since the very beginning. Suddenly, they've introduced an arbitrary three device limit that makes this all but useless unless you pay $120+ a year. I have no problem paying for valuable services, but the fact that you they want longstanding customers to pay over $120 just to sync four devices instead of three is absurd. This is the writing on the wall, time to jump ship because going forward, Dropbox is going to be looking for every arbitrary way it can to extort money out of longtime users. What's next, caps on how many times you can access a file unless you pay for a new $300 a year "Elite" tier of service?

Paying for the sufficient space to upload large files and Dropbox, both mobile and desktop, can't handle large files. Ridiculous. If you're going to bolster so many claims about storage space and the needed paid membership to have full use of features, make sure it can take what it's given. I'll be unsubscribing from my membership at the end of the month for that alone.

Dropbox app lost key scanning features. When I upgraded from the Galaxy S7 to S10, I found the new Dropbox app has poor scanning ability due to the loss of manual focusing and use of the flash. When I used the old version on the S7, I was able to save quality scans of any document, even in the dark. The PDF documents that the new version creates are blurry even when there is ample light. Dropbox, please bring back the manual focus and flash features. I depend on this app for work.

It's telling me that I can only link three devices and I need to unlink one. The only problem is it doesn't give me the option to unlink a device. If I click on unlink it says you have to unlink a device I hit okay go back to the same thing and we keep going back and forth. I am about ready to give up on this app. Please fix.

On Android I would request a new feature please. In the app you can tap the plus button to upload, then tap "take a photo" and that photo taken would will be directly uploaded to Dropbox. However to take multiple photos you need to keep repeating this. Please add an option to "take photos". It would be a major productivity booster for me. Please implement this, this is possible with other apps like project camera and UploadCam. Thank you

Uploading files is a pain in the axx. "too many files selected, try selecting from the app". Well your app has no way of selecting which folder to upload from, for instance, edited photos. Stupid and annoying, and now I remember why I hated using your services.

Dropbox is a great app no doubt, but disappointed in their subscription services. I get an email reminder for the subscription renewal this morning so I cancelled it as per original plan. But was disappointed to see that the charges were already deducted 12 hours earlier, last night itself. This isn't fair.

Ridiculous that you still can't access a file through your filesystem after you choose "Make Available Offline". Once the file is saved on my device I should be able to open it from outside the Dropbox app. You have to use the hidden menu item "Save To Device" to actually be able to access your file.

Files won't upload unless the app is open, the process stops when dropbox is running, but another app is open, or when the screen locks. It used to run in the background, which makes more sense, and now I'm supposed to look how 300 files are uploading!

Really stupìd after new update release, The app keep asking for security code which send to phỏne number, but I did not receive any code, tried many time but it seem no hope. There are no more way to get the code by email or secrect questions....

Bit disappointed that you think you'll get so many G.Bytes for free with an optional extra to upgrade instead you download this app to see you get 30 days free after which you have to pay for the monthly fee..... So I guess a bit of a con.... They reel you in like a fish 🐠 you bite then your caught in the trap... So read the small print as they state you get nothing for free these days not even on "PlayStore".... 👍

Complete garbage. Even with a premium account, it is virtually useless on my phone. Camera uploads stopped working well over a year ago and manually uploading is an exercise in futility.

"cannot display PDF (*.pdf is of invalid format)". Will you ever fix this issue? Neither the sender nor the recipient could open any PDF files, using various PDF viewers. Is this supposed to be a business app?

It is not possible to transfer your files to your phone without paying a fee it seems. Something so simple. A very frustrating app. For sharing of media use airdrop. Pathetic

This app is the beast of burden for any creative types. Allowing me store and file all my work off device so I can pick it up later from my laptop, tablet or phone. Been a bit a lives saver at times.

Ever since installing Dropbox on my new cell I am not able to sign in at all. Even contacted support and got nowhere. Tried the beta version too and no luck.

Having to download an app to waste my time downloading something of urgency afterwards is straight up retarded, other sites allow you to download from a browser and this should've been no different. I look forward towards uninstalling this collection of abusive cancer. Thank you and get lost.

Auto upload of photos and videos Constantly fails and I need to restart... For easily three years of use, more than 5 phones. Very reliably lame!

It worked for what needed but when unzipped the file it not allow me to add files to my phone I had to convert the files to MP3 which is weird, Dropbox if read this please let me know what your deal is how can you keep my files hostage ?

The service is okay, the app sucks. I have been a subscriber for several years now. The sync works great on computers and I won't notice a thing because it's all done in the background. Now this app doesn't seem to be able to upload any files reasonably large -- I'm talking about 4MB -- unless I happen to connect to a very fast network. You'd think an app dedicated to file transfer would know how to resume interrupted ones, but apparently nope.

Very good experience with Dropbox, although the odd changes have at times left me wondering " why?"...

Because there is no option NOT to open ALL PDF files on android and because zoom function of PDF's on the viewer is still broken, I've decided to uninstall. Please fix this.

I've had for five years on both my Android phone an Android tablet works excellent on both had a little bit of trouble when I first started them up I think it crash but it recovered

Used this for a very long time (10+ years) without issues. Used to be great . However, unfortunately Dropbox became GREEDY. They implemented a restriction on the number of devices (max. 3 devices), which is ridiculous and arbitrary. I dual boot my PC & Laptop and I have mobile devices. I used Dropbox to share my documents across all devices. With the device restriction, I cannot do this anymore. Even worse: THEY NOW WANT MONEY FOR WHAT WAS PREVIOUSLY FREE. Avoid this! Now I am using MEGA.

Excellent app for storing pics, videos and documents. It is user friendly.

I don't know what is going on with the app right now but absolutely nothing is working I've reinstalled it multiple times and it still isn't working. :(

An app that comes with your phone and not needed in anyway. Constantly updating itself. Cant delete from phone either. Another useless app. The answer to a question nobody asked

Unable to remove old data to keep within the limit, not impressed.

this is a very handy tool for my files. The fast sync and multiple platforms support enabled it for my default file storage across devices. Highly recommended

This app isn't optimized for this device. I use a Galaxy Tab A (2016). Fix this and I'll fix this rating. (Update) Still isn't optimized.

have not encountered any problems - working as advertised, Pleased with simplicity and quality.

I use to love Dropbox, but over the past 6 months or so not, so much. It will not auto upload my photos or videos anymore. I have to open the app on my phone, goto settings, and then it might start. Been using Dropbox for years, I never had these issues before. I have not changed my settings or anything in years. I almost want to stop using it all together. ☹🙁

It works ok, but a couple problems with it are real head scratchers. It doesn't work the way the IOS version does. 1) it doesn't remember the last folder you saved a scanned doc, so you have to pick it again every time you go to save and 2) there isn't an option to save as a PNG format file. IOS doesn't have an option to save as JPG option. Why the inconsistency? Lazy propramming? Other apps like this don't have this problem.

I like this service with its pricing and usability but there are 2 things I dont like about it. When manually uploading it still uses cellular data. Dropbox cant automatically find duplicate files. I upload 100s of pictures weekly and I want to know if there are any duplicates from a misupload or other problem. I don't want to have to type for the date then time taken etc etc. I feel like having a better cloud file detection system would be beneficial. Plus it can be a toggleable setting.

For anyone having problems syncing accounts after the update: 1)when the app asks you to delete two devices delete them even if one of them is your phone that you are currently on (dw the app keeps working) 2)log in on your computer and then it will ask you to delete other accounts that have been synced in the past. Then log in your third device and done. Im still giving 1 star review because the really old devices dont show on my phone but they do in my pc??? Weird

I have been a subscriber for more than 12 years and It used to work so seamlessly. It has become so much more complex and intricate and I cant make heads or tails of it these days. Yes , more "powerful" but very confusing with so many moving parts. But still my favorite cloud storage/synced app.

I am a paid subscriber but have constant issues with Dropbox. The interface is just not intuitive. You can't restore files from within the app--you need to open your web browser. Simple prompts to overwrite files are non existent: you need to go into a file manager and delete the file first. Support is so horrible to deal with you end up just living with it's many flaws. Sure wish someone at Dropbox actually took a look at their user experience. You figured it get better as a subscriber but it's not.

So. Dropbox raises their price above the competition. Yet, for almost 3 years. Yes. 3. They have not fixed a BIG bug with backup. If your roming. Your out of luck with Dropbox. They won't listen or fix the problem. They just don't get it. I have been using them 8 years. I suggest to everyone to change to Google. It's cheaper and does not have a bug issue with camera uploads.

Drop Box is the best . After a year of comparing onedrive, Google drive, iDrive (using premium for all 3). They are just too damn slow on mobile and especially on the desktop. I learned my lesson after onedrive erased 3 hours worth of videos. Google drive or photos didn't even upload them automatically. Until another cloud system less expensive and works just as good or close to it I'm staying with dropbox begrudgingly for now.11.99 per month is too much. That's 144 dollars per year.

I'm sick of being constantly bugged about upgrading (I have all notifications turned off) Also deleting photos on the website is a nightmare, delete them on the app and they just re-upload if still on the phone, and $10 a month for 3GB when Google Drive offers 15GB for free. Yes Dropbox is a safer place to store your files but otherwise I don't see the point

I've had this app for years and trust my photos with it . I need to found out how recover them from all my phone number to put them in one spot.

Have loved Dropbox for years, but something they did just deleted some files. I finally found a way to go in and get those files back. However after checking to make sure I only had three devices on the Dropbox site, I now cannot open it on my cell phone. It only lets me have the option of unlinking devices, which doesn't work or getting Dropbox Plus for a month for free. I want to stay with regular Dropbox. Not sure how to fix that so I can just go to Dropbox regular.

Annoying features Everytime I go to view a photo on the app, it shows a "comment" section on the screen at the very bottom. It's not too annoying, unless you leave the app and then open it back up, then the comment portion takes up half the screen. It's a minor annoyance, but I wish there was an option to disable it... Unfortunately Dropbox has hardly any changeable settings...

EXTREMELY disappointed with Dropbox. I've had it for several years now, and about a month and a half ago Google had a problem and I was signed out of everything Google related on my Android device. Got Google fixed finally, but still can't sign in to Dropbox. Contacted them and it's been a LOT of waiting for someone to get back to me. The last thing they asked for was a screen shot of the error message, which I sent right away, and now I'm still waiting to hear from them. Very, very disappointed.

It used to be great. Then they partnered with Google. It no longer syncs files like it used to. I am frequently get randomly logged out of the account and then have googles asinine log-in process to deal with. THe password is accepted on my laptop, but the exact same password is rejected form the app.

I can't open password protected excel files offline after I enabled "Make available offline". It was fine 2 years ago, so obviously it's a bug. But the support said not anymore. Well, seems like it's a bug they can't fix. Meanwhile, the support was horrible. He didn't read my emails properly before reply.

While I 'm a Dropbox user for years now - and very happy with the speed and fluent working on PC platform -, Dropbox on Android is totally useless to me. Not being able to move the data to the external SD card is unacceptable given SD cards can easily contain my whole PC. Not that I need it all, but I really do not feel like manually following up on internal space and selecting files to sync. The remark has been made many times already, but Dropbox doesn't seem to hear the Voice of the Customer

This app blows ! It won't load all my files to allow me to choose from them for uploading. It loads some pics from recent months and some pics from the first few months of my memory card.(approx 4 yrs old) and all vidios. Leaving out over a thousand pics in between. This makes no sense. Basically this app is useless!

After years of use they just introduced a 3 device policy. This simply does not work for me and so i will finally delete my account.

Great! Dropbox works exactly how you need it to, no confusing features or interfaces, easy file and folder sharing, with maximum control. I dislike OneDrive, Google Drive and Google Photos because I feel like those products try to take over everything I do, and copies my content to multiple places uncontrollably. Dropbox is the only cloud storage I feel my stuff is secure in, and doesn't try to force itself on you it just works in the background quietly and let's you focus on your work.

I guess it's time to move on from dropbox. Free accounts can only have three connected devices. Dropbox decided that my home PC qualifies as three devices. The single file I need access to is not synced so I have three versions of the same file which makes them all useless. I shouldn't have to change settings when I've been using this same file in this same manner since the very beginning of Dropbox. I see now why my company decided on Owncloud. Just come out and say you hate us.

I was using Dropbox for several years for syncing files between my PCs (stationary and laptop), phone and tablet, but now the service has downgraded, and I can only use 3 devices, which is unacceptable for me. This is ridiculous, software companies don't downgrade free services they already offered, to payed ones

Counter intuitive and needlessly complicated. Buttons aren't labelled with what they actually do so spend an eternity going back and forth trying to find correct command. Picks and chooses what it send to device, you don't seem to get a say. Tiny amount of storage on free version. Avoid this app. It's useless.

Needs more functionality like being able to upload photos by folder just like they are sorted on my phone. I would recommend another drive like Google or Verizon Cloud for cellphone backup because they backup all photo folders, messages, videos as is. Dropbox on the PC is great and syncs seamlessly but the Android app crashes with uploads and exports. I have to keep signing into the Android app to resume uploads. Dropbox needs to fix the Android app to get more stars.

Dropbox is a good program But, now I can't login my Dropbox account??? Please tell me 🙏💓 What happened with my Dropbox account 😩😩

Will let you down. Select 90 photos, 50 will upload. 3 or 4 uploads to capture all of it. Google drive lost my photos when transferring to a PC so I'm trying dropbox. Dropbox is presenting the same problems as Drive did. Multi selecting photos is tedious. If you select in gallery and hit share with Dropbox, you get a white screen then nothing. It doesn't work. If you accidentally hit a gap between photos when selecting them, it'll upload just one photo and forget the other 100+ you had selected.

Have no idea what happened in the latest update but now a file won't upload all the way & has to constantly be uploaded over & over again so the file eventually gets saved to my account. I've been waiting to hear back about the status of my account after waiting a week to even have my email read in the first place. Been a loyal customer for YEARS at this point but these last couple of months have made me reconsider paying for this service. A real downturn in quality recently.

There are many cloud services around, but when it comes to ease of use and convenience of the phone app this one is still the best.

very good app! But it has not enough free space. I have only one file in ut and it's already full unless I buy more space. About screen sharing, yes it has it, but you cannot see anything unless they send you to dropbox again. It isn't open on the link that I shared.

Why does the online version have several options for sorting your files but only 2 in the app version?? What kind of sense does that make?? Been a premium user for years but 1 star is all I can stomach until this unbelieveable oversight is corrected.

This has been the best app, absolutely the best app for storing my personal data, though i currently pay 0$, i believe in the near future this will be my first app to pay! For the use of my office work, it has never disappointed me! I dearly argue that for any startup,to try and use this app, it's extremely amazing , i congratulate the drop box team please keep doing your best! We love the app!

Just switched from iPhone to a Pixel and this Android version of the app is almost worthless for my purposes. Can't download images to my phone from the app, only save them for offline mode, which means I can't actually do anything with them. Considering cancelling my annual subscription because the utility is so diminished for not having this capability.

I am less impressed now that I am unable to delete files. The message is try again later. Don't need it. I have used Box for years taking advantage of the 20G initial offer but Dropbox is faster uploading. And I am taking off a star because the free gig offered is nothing. Your monthly rate for more gig is acceptable ONLY IF IT IS A TAX write off.. I am joking.. I mean seriously.. This is a joke. I doubt the $11.99 you want is in American dollars and not pesos. So I will pass and stay with Box...

At first it worked great, over time he began to tell me that it took an update with cost because he no longer had storage space, the app is almost empty right now and he continues to insist on the update because is full!!

Possibly one of the worst streaming apps I've used. Everytime I attempt to upload a video it fails, every time I attempt to download, it fails. I upgraded my advanced account to Business so my clients could see their videos and they still couldn't. Attempting to contact their support is impossible, I had to wait over a day just to hear "you can share them by inviting" well no duh. Overall I'd never recommend this service, too many crashes, too expensive for a mediocre product.

I don't know ANY program that would delete your accounts just because you haven't signed into them for awhile. I have numerous accounts with Hotmail and they have never done such a thing. I forgot about two separate accounts with drop box, thus the account and precious pictures were deleted. They notified me by email which does not good as it was sent to email addresses that I do not check as often as my primary. I am beyond annoyed. I set these up way before my Google accounts. Google photos >

Drop box, doesnt work.. i cant use it anymore the way i used too, too slow and crashes.

I cannot navigate around my Dropbox files on Android. It makes Dropbox worthless to me. I have clicked everything I could in the App and could not find any way to navigate. It's mind boggling to be why such a basic feature would be missing.

Great tool for storing and editing files and works really good for my school documents.

This is a rip-off !!!!!!!! I did not order it !!!!!! I started to fill out the form and when I got to the part to put in your credit card I closed out the process, but you got my card from play/google somehow and I have tried to cancel for two months with no success !!!!!!!

Camera Flash on document scan is now missing in Android platforms (galaxy S10). I checked the app permissions and it is allowed full camera access. Flash control was there in past releases. Scan quality was great then. The current release of Document scan on S10 has degraded resulting in blurry scans and no flash control. The iPhone version of document scan still has the flash button and scan clarity. Not sure why dropbox dropped the scan document quality and flash button lately.

Helps me stay organized with my music producer business. Highly recommend for any small business, or person who needs to keep things organized and safe on a cloud.

Great place to store my images and videos, easy to access from any device.

I loved this... But for years I felt it would happen but I wish when you'd upload your files it woyld automatically upload them to format file. Like videos all go here, pictures all go here, documents go there. In the initial upload... Such as when one is cleaning out their cell because the save all videos and pictures. Everything is automatically. So I all my videos pictures get mixed up. This would keep my dropbox from reaching its storage limit because I move pictures & vids around in my cell

This is the best way to arrange an account so you can do a quick note about sizing chart and a half hour or so and then delete the material in its own unique and beautiful to look at this stage the links below for more details about this and it will take a few minutes to complete the application form download the app and activate the user.. easy to use it as well... Thanks again.AAA++++

It won't let me unsubscribe to Dropbox plus. What's going on?????

Been a long time user and promoted it to all my family and coworkers but then today, I had to change my hard drive out and now dropbox says I can only sync 3 devices! The whole MAIN reason to use this app is to sync other devices and now that I have literally 10 devices to sync, I am forced to pay more or leave dropbox...Well considering the security breaches in past, I say free storage with google is MUCH better choice at this point.

Very beautiful & useful application. I always enjoy to use it. Thanks for its developers.

Automatic camera uploads was fixed now it's broke again. Not sure why they are having so much trouble with this one feature lately....just says "waiting for internet connection" when I'm obviously connected.

Dropbox is exactly what it says it is, no hidden agenda which is extremely refreshing in today's world. It is user friendly and efficient in every way except one... You cannot have more than one Dropbox application running on a device at a time.

Was just looking at getting Dropbox Plus but at $18 per month! for 2T, too expensive!

Well Dropbox, it's been a good run the past few years, but I disagree with you trying more aggressive tactics to force your users into a paid subscription. I have 200gb free storage on OneDrive so I might give that a go.

Superb, but after editing original image should remain same.

I should not have to create a new email addy just to access a new dropbox account. Unfortunately, my account was inactivated 1 month ago, and I'm not even allowed to reset my password to start using thre app again. I expect losing what I did due to inactivity, but I also expect to start anew. Highly disappointing.

The choice to suddenly limit at 3 devices unless you pay $120/yr is an insta-fire of Evernote proportions. If you've used dbx for any period if time you'll find you need to purge 10 or more prior sync targets to swap even a single new one in. There a wide range of free/cheap alts out there, why bother with dbx anymore?

Wanted to get some device storage back on my Galaxy S4 so I uninstalled a number of updates on various apps....don't uninstall Dropbox updates. If you do - possibly like me -you will be unable to access your gallery. Was very easy to restore the updates, though, and the gallery is accessible again.

Frustrated with notifications on no longer available on my device. Doesn't explain how I can get my pictures.

I was getting pics from out of town family and was asked to down load this app I did will a free trial. I was unable to get the pics from the app or really operate it. I canceled then uninstalled the app. The next day I got a email from dropbox saying I was upgraded and charged. It shows I canceled the day before. I send dropbox a email letting them know I was upgraded and charged on there end. I got a email back stating that they can not do any thing because I did not pay with the website.

Suddenly keeps crashing when you transfer to d chip/card. If you need to free up space to use don't dl this. I'm about to transfer all data to some other cloud storage. You have been warned. Don't use drop box any more!!!!!

Free tier only allows linking 3 devices to your account now. Utterly useless.

As a long time user from 2011-2012 and the new changes that limits the amount of devices (3) from a free dropbox account renders it useless to me it is so pathetic, thank you for all these years but no more i shall now download my content and move to google drive. Why would you start making changes that the long time users would start moving away? And like introducing a cheaper price plan no sir we can not do that! Soon an ex dropbox user this was just the nail in the coffin!

I'm using this app at least 10 years and within that time all my personal photos are 100% safe, DROPBOX you have saved my bacon on a few occasions thank you

I hate this app. More than one organization I work with uses dropbox. It rarely displays the same folders, and never displays all of them. I assume this is because you have to open a separate account for each organization, but that is too complicated.

Been using Dropbox for many many years, The quality of storage is great.. I have problems sometimes when I use the desk version.. I can't see 98 %of my pictures and the size of space could be a little bigger . Other than that. I like it.

I tried uploading some videos and kept failing for no obvious reasons. Apparently just telling people the upload failed does not say a lot about why it failed. Please fix this. I have been a DB pro user for a long time and don't disappoint me.

This app was good until couple years a gow now it's useless in order to see what i have in their storage the developer want me to pay $12.00 every month, it's like you have to pay anditional phone bill, shame on their greedy posses action.Trust me guys things going out off hands with Google and it's applications, day by day more restrictions, every thing it's about evil money. In the near future we going to pay for every app, my guide spirit tol me and confirm also. The poor will not have access.

You can't just save pictures to your phone, you have to export them individually. This isn't very efficient for business use. Also, the share button doesn't work.
