    apk Fast, reliable and straightforward. Actually, a lot faster than onedrive and Google drive. And most importantly, spam-free. Unlike Google drive, random people can't share links with you. Also, and I hope the developers don't fix something that's not broke, a clean, uncluttered interface that even my 70 year old mum can navigate.

    dropbox plus () Dropbox has made a technical change that results in your offline files being stored in a protected cache that they actively hide & block direct access to end users. It means that you can only access your offline files via their app, unless you export a copy to your phone (which means double files/storage). It makes Dropbox an unnecessary middleman and adds complications to end-users. As the "Gold Rush Era" saying goes... "If you can't own the gold (data), own the shovels (access)" 😐

    I joined dropbox many years ago with the free space and then started paying afyer free space was gone. It used to be a simple, convenient place to save my pictures but it seems all that has changed and feels lime its only for businesses now. I havent been able to access dropbox for over a month, even tho i pay my bill monthly. I even try to go to it from the play store but only get a blank white screen! I cannot find any way to get ahold of dropbox to address this issue! Im almost done with it!

    Really like this app. Has a good storage capacity, even if you don't upgrade your storage amount, it can keep your files safe, organized, you can even send a fax through the app! If you don't fax often, it's free and handy! I recommend downloading this one

    The website streams videos wonderfully. The app is horrible. [1] I can skip around a video without issue. But I had to get the app because you can't watch longer than an hour on the site. The app is horrible. [2] It always lags and buffers. If I tab away to another app on my cell, it loses its position (the website remembers). Edit: Adding # [3] There was a 1hr maximum video limit on the website, the only reason I got the app at all. Well now the app also limits to 1hr. Insanely broken. Awful.

    Took an app that did work really well for many years and messed it up. They make it hard to get your pictures off their cloud, keeps reloading the same pictures over when you finally do delete what you have in an effort to get you to pay a ridiculous price for more storage. After many years of being with Dropbox it's goodbye for me when I get it figured out how to download my pics. Now trying to delete so they quit bugging me to pay 11.99 a month as I do, Dropbox puts them back on!

    Good product, but price gap between the free version and the lowest tier paid version is too big. I would gladly pay $10 or $20/year to share the standard storage with more than three devices, but I don't use it enough to pay that much each month.

    This app is truly terrible , i have been a dropbox user for some time and just realized how terrible they were after switching to one drive, much easier and well organized so if you are reading this make the switch dont worry. If you try dropbox on your computer expect everything to be deleted. All my info and music was "synced" so basiclly it all disappeared. So 5 years of work is gone. And no way of getting it back, will be moving my whole family away from dropbox.

    Unreliable service. Very slow camera upload. For instance if it fails to detect media to upload and you try re-login, it often stuck at finding photo to upload. No real solution for this, you can only wish it work again randomly. Very unreliable and I won't recommend anyone to use Dropbox alone for backing up photo and video on phone efficiently. I've been using Dropbox for 10 years and this problem still happens a lot

    after signing up for Drobox through Google, I was ask to upgrade, so I did. What happened after that was I was billed both the upgrade & my initial plan. Double billing. when I ask Dropbox for help to cancel my initial plan after several emails back and forth, I was told Dropbox cannot do anything because I subscribed through Google & I have to contact Google. Guess What! Google can not be contacted!! I search around in My Google account & found there was a Pause Subscription option (for a few months. So I paused it and now it is unpaused & I am being deducted the initial amount again... NOT HAPPY!

    Auth thru Google is too pushing. Instead of just checking my email, it try to grab access to all public available info and (sic!) all my contacts (and this is even not optional - you can't uncheck) Nice try but sorry - I'd prefer to keep my contacts personal and not to share it with you ;)

    No Support or Resolve. I tried the Dropbox Plus trial and went to cancel before trial period. Both online no option to cancel trial under manage plan. On my device Google store under manage subscription Dropbox is not listed to cancel as I have been able to manage other subscriptions that way. I reached out to support with false solution of cancelation and then my account was billed. Both online and device say I have basic, why am I charged and no support to resolve this matter directly? Update: now going on 15hours since noted unauthorized payment and developer Dropbox refuses to respond to resolve and Google play stated payment processed unable to return. Thrown into a loop without resolution to this matter

    I'm trying to sign in and receive an sms 6 digit number to enter in my Dropbox but the message never arrives. Dropbox costumer care is one of the worse I've ever seen in a company. They only give support to the big clients that pay big bucks. The small fish that use Dropbox for free are completely ignored. Dropbox should be ashamed. If it was possible I would give 0 stars.

    STOP DELETING THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON!! I want to download a simple photo from my Dropbox onto my phone but there's no way to do this without screenshotting it! Ridiculous. I pay for this service to gain EASY ACCESS to my photos but it's anything but easy right now! EDIT: There is no Export button only "Open with.." but that doesn't download the photo to my phone, only allows me to view it! Thinking of closing my account with you because I'm frustrated with the unusability of this app now.

    For mobile ot does not support a EXTREMELY basic feature that allows you to choose what folder to upload in when selecting the images/vid to upload . It only sorts by date for some reason and i already have mixed dates of most of my Pre organized stuff bc i would assume a app this big would have the basics, so use this when you get 2gb and not even basic functions? No thank you. Use google drive, does same thing with 15gb for free (i believe)

    Used to be a good app, but they have slowly limited and limited the number of devices you can use without paying down to 2. Really limits the usefulness if you can't even have a laptop, a desktop, and a phone signed in.

    Used to be great but since the last update it keeps crashing instead of loading and my pictures no longer automatically transfer to the Cloud, completely unusable now. Will update if an update solves the crashing problem. Otherwise I've always loved Dropbox and the desktop/browser version is fine.

    After using DropBox for YEARS, i am deleting my app and my account. I am nkw notified that if I move a file from DropBox or move it out of DropBox, it will not be useable anywhere. So 8m just screwed if I want to keep my free account just for moving files around because I can no longer do this? Back to Google Drive for me! ***** But I was moving some files OUT of Drop Box, into a file on my desktop, got that notice, couldnt believe it would really be deleted, then could no longer find the file.

    I just received a Dropbox update. The update changed my preferences. After I change my preferences back to my original choices I found that all of my Dropbox files were deleted. From this point on I will back up to a hard drive as well as to share files between computers. I am very DISSATISFIED with Dropbox.

    When I want to open a download, a note comes up that says Dropbox needs access to my files and I click on "ok" and nothing happens and therefore I can't open anything. Big ripoff

    Abysmal customer service. I pay for dbox plus subscription thru google play store. For 5 months not one person at dbox has responded to any email to help me. My account at dbox dropped me to basic even tho i pay for plus.5 god damn months and not one person has walked me thru troubleshooting at the dropbox support email or resolved my issue. In fact they have closed all my inquiries without one response to me.They take ur money but dont provide the paid for service. Smells likea Class action

    Not for me! But i bought into it. I think around $12 monthly..?Plus I thought was too expensive, and isn't this Dropbox more for people with computers? I don't and never will have one, this smartphone alone is taking up our lives. And because I was trying to find an expert with a different issue, I installed Dropbox again but it's too hard to understand! At bottom says Tell us more, and can't even do that! Must be for computers! But we will see..

    As much as I like Dropbox, I constantly have issues with moving pics between files. If I select files to move 99% of the time it takes me more than 5 minutes to do so, especially if it's several files. For years I've been getting "cannot transfer now, cannot connect to the Internet"....I'm NOT offline! I've waited a couple of years for a fix, but it has never come. I'm always afraid I'm going to lose some pics because I think they've transferred and they haven't. Time to look for another option

    I keep getting emails that my Dropbox is full. That's pretty interesting since I don't use it. I don't have it running on any computers. I didn't even have it installed on any phones or tablets. Now when I go to check what's there, it won't let me log in with my Google account. Nothing happens when I tap on sign in with Google. Nice Microsoft, nice..

    Unable to browse folders on phone. Have to upload en masse by date which is useless. Terrible app for uploading multiple photos and the actual speed of upload is woeful. Tested on 5G and fast wifi. Edit for developer response: how is clearing the cache going to fix your production code?

    This was an awesome app. It seems since covid and much people and churches have been using this that they have decided to take advantage of this and start charging an astronomical amount of money to be able to continue to use this service. I am very displeased in what has happened in this app now. I understand needing to make a profit but 12.99 a month??? We will just find another way to communicate church sermons through out our congregation unless there a cheaper option becomes available.

    Works sometimes, but sometimes it'll stop in the middle of large photo transfers, and I have no idea where it left off because it does them randomly. Has logged me out in the middle of uploading as well multiple times which is reallt frustrating. I'm planning to find a different service once I get my current photos onto my computer. It's really not worth $16 a month

    I love this app but have 2 issues...the most important one is that the uploading of photos that does only load a few photos at a time and then the rest fails and its loading sooooo slow and I have a steady 5G wifi lines. 2nd issue is that not everyone needa 2T of space, would be nice if packages inbetween 10g and 2T could be added so one could choose witch option they would preffer anf it would be soooo nice! Other than these 2, I enjoy using this app knowing that my files are safe. Thanks.

    I'm writing again because I've experienced so much crashing lately and it's gotten worse, literally can't use for more than a few minutes. I have reported it and found that my support ticket was closed without any reply. I see Dropbox has done this with every complaint. I'm so fed up with the lack of communication. They make it hard to contact, don't ever respond, and I can't seem to send a new bug report because the app gives an error message. I used to respect this company. It's so sad.

    Basically a file viewer. Making files available offline actually doesn't make them available on local storage as no files are accessible. No matter how many times you download the file, you can't find them anywhere.

    The entire service is great. The app however is clunky sometimes. I use Dropbox as a storage for my documents I make in school. The pricing is so expensive and actually, I don't want to pay for 2TB of storage if I will only consume 50GB of it. I hope there are more small and flexible plans, like 50GB, 100GB, 200GB, or 500GB subscription plans. For now, I will stay on the free version and use another cloud storage provider with a small and flexible plan to store other files I have.

    They raise the price every year. It's now $120. I pay that much for Amazon Prime, but this? The value for money is just terrible. It's nearly impossible to do basic stuff like back up your cell phone photos. It's also nearly impossible to migrate to another platform. Of course. Dropbox is doing this on purpose. They want to make it difficult for you to leave. I have never been so angry at an app. Wish I could give it zero stars. I've been trying to migrate off for months.

    I get emails telling me to upgrade because my account is almost full, but I'm only using 0.1% of 2GB according to Dropbox. I've tried to use their Bot chat to look at these files that are supposedly making my acct full - there are no files to see. I can't figure this app out. Definitely NOT paying to upgrade when there is no one to help you.

    I can tell you that this app is excellent and incredible for saving any files, music and anything else you want stored safely! It's perfect, I have a password for it, and a passcode too! It's fast and easy to work with. I can tell you that this app is the best one I have ever gotten in my life and I'm a private person. It keeps your stuff safe through email and in the cloud. I highly recommend it!

    Liked it at first, but even after getting the subscription it won't let me properly download files. I want to download my stuff to my device and be able to reach said stuff from my files manager on my phone. Not only from dropbox. Edit: Changed it to 4 stars because someone from dropbox tried to help me. The way he/she explained it will probably work on other devices. But mine won't show the options as the developer described it. I'm using a oneplus 6.

    The new upgrade on a Note 20 Ultra OneUI 3 is awful. In portrait rotation folders show empty. Flip to landscape, they appear. Try to import from phone in portrait mode, Dropbox shows no images on phone to select. Select a file to move in Dropbox. There is no folder navigation to browse to where you want to copy the file TO. Bring back the old version!

    Works well under everything but Windows. If you want Dropbox under Windows you have to allow Google to participate and if you don't, Dropbox won't let you log in. Is Google searching files in Dropbox? No Dropbox for me since it won't run if Google is blocked.

    Charged multiple times after canceling. DropBox support told me I wouldn't be charged anymore and I would be refunded if charges were made. I was charged again and they say they can't see any charges even though my credit card statement shows charges from dropbox. I tried to dispute the charge with Google but they told me I have to talk to dropbox. Dropbox told me I have to talk to Google. Since they won't talk to each other I'm at a dead end and have to accept paying for service that I never had. What a Scam!

    RUN (DO NOT WALK) AWAY from this service. Works best for text-based content and has descended to the shamefully low mark of Adobe CC usability and performance. NOT suitable for photographers or graphic artists even with high-bandwidth network availability. Users are trapped in a world of inadequate performance across-the-board and completely helpless to kill a bulk upload/download once it's started.

    This app has made me so mad. I put most of my music in it then I couldn't get none of it any of the files to open, then it started just stopping and now it keeps freezing up my phone. I have to go back to refind and redownload all of my music (BTW IT'S OVER 1000 PLUS SONGS) that this STUPID APP somehow has lost or destroyed 😠! Thanks a lot

    Great app. Been using it for more than 10 years. Only issue I have is the base pricing of the premium subscription. It costs more than 5 times of Google One. 11$ per month is just too much and I don't have a requirement of 2TB storage. 100 GB at 1$ would be great.

    One hell of an application!! The downfall is, I have stuff from 6 years ago, in notification, there is no delete button. They had so many updates, and they won't add a delete button. There's no reason that stuff is sitting there, for the last 6 years, and there's no way to delete it. unacceptable!!

    I have used all cloud services available due to working online other than drop box bc I've always had office and utilize One Drive. Recently I was offered a free trial so I went for it. Glad I did, I kept it after the trial bc it syncs better and quicker (immediately) than any cloud service I've ever tried. It's my new go to and favorite to use.

    I used to love dropbox, but they went into a very bad direction. I understand that they want to make money, and I would even pay if there were a good option for me. But the entry level is too much space for too much money. So to force me to buy, they restricted the number of devices I can connect. It's unacceptable. Also, I believe it's independent issue, but background upload does not work until I start the app. I guess background should run in background. All in all it's not good any more.

    Great app if you never need customer support. Been a Plus subscriber for almost a decade. Need help this 1 time as DB won't recognize my authenticator app codes therefore I am unable to log in and the customer support process is HORRIBLE!!!!! I chatted with a (of course, an unintelligent) bot, a kind but useless human, sent emails (that gets responded to 24H or more) and here, 3 days later, still can't log in, locked out and I still don't have a resolution. I may not be renewing next term.

    Ok but yet again, like so many apps its let down by un-intuitive menus, and unclear "help" information. I only want to drop certain files, but without any warning it dumps my entire laptop onto the account then tells me unsurprisingly I gave run out of space and wont sync. Trying to undo this is practically impossible with the "unhelp" available and as ever a combination of googling and trial and error ensues. Do these companies actually consult real people when you develop apps?

    I love my Dropbox and do pay for the full license but now my tablet says it needs an update and Dropbox says my device isn't eligible for updates anymore. I realize you increase the size of Dropbox with updates but isn't there a way to keep an express version for devices that have always had it but now risk losing the use of it because you've outgrown us?

To access work sent to me, I must pay for an account due to the size of their folder. I have no intention of paying.     Very poor app!!! Tried a lot of times to save folders to offline, then once downloaded after a few hours they are no longer accessible to offline viewing, there is no option to download folders to my phone either, why is that, they are my documents and I can not move them to my phone!!!

    BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL I lost absolutely every file on my PC because of this app. Installing dropbox on my PC attempted to sync every folder I had and then when I uninstalled I lost literally everything. Watch yourself with this one and make sure you know what you're doing.

    Terrible. If your files get accidentally synced, there's no way to get them back without them being deleted! Wasted many hours trying to correct this. No live support available only a chatbot or community of other users. I noticed a couple of them had the same issue and it wasn't resolved.

    When I share a file from my gallery and it uploads to Dropbox it duplicates. I get, example file.mp4 and example file.mp4(1). And there isn't an existing file with the same name already in Dropbox.

    Well drop box decided to freeze on my computer whilst uploaded now has bugged my computer and I have no internet connection. Have read multiple things the only thing left to do was reinstall windows. Use this software at your own risk I have been using it for years but recommend Google drive to avoid things like this

    It's ok. Useless for downloading on mobile device. You click on download and have no idea where the file was saved. It's not in the download folder. There's no Dropbox folder. The web version is much better.

    Actually bought this phone because it came with 80gb storage plan for new purchases on the dropbox. Now I am being told I'm 356.18% over my storage limit which is now 2gb. And they want a monthly payment so I can even access my pictures that I trusted to dropbox. Half the time I can not access any pictures from this site. So if you see a new phone for sale and accept the offer for extra storage, just wait until it's way past full then they will blackmail you with deletion if you dont pay them.

    I would have given this 5 stars, I've been using this app for awhile now to use with my cricut to save and transfer SVG cut files to my cricut app but ever since it update it will no longer allow me to add any SVG files to the dropbox app. Pretty frustrating.

    This is by far the worst way to save any form of data. The company will find a way to convert all of your data for it to be held by them and later charge you to store it and access it. Do not use them for anything, ever.
