The Necromancer
For some reason the app won't detect that I'm holding my phone in the correct position (landscape) so all the content stays in portrait mode (vertically) instead, which is really dumb since any camera should be used horizontally. Besides, the quality capture is not as good as when I use my phone's camera as a standalone smartphone, so, when I capture pictures or videos using the Mimo app with the OM 4 SE gadget, they have a considerable lower overall quality.

App not even opening after upgrading to Android 12. Issues on Android 11: Timelapse and motionlapse videos in 4k are corrupted, unable to play. I've been waiting for around 6 months, but still the issue is not fixed yet. This issue has been reported by several people in DJI's support forum. But still there is no update from your side. It looks like DJI doesnt care about Android platform anymore. They're just focusing on iOS, even though S21 Ultra is the best all rounder camera phone as of today.

Not Current Version! For whatever reason, this is NOT the 1.6.0 version required for OM5 use. Also, DJI has an Android 12 beta version of this as well. Both are available as apks on their download site. You will have to "allow" their install, but this should resolve most of the recent poor review comments I'm seeing here. This does not, however, explain why DJI doesn't have the latest version HERE - on the Play store. Nor why they don't list the Android 12 beta as a separate app. DJI help?

Want to give this app a shot. Had to lower my expectations for the app. Most of the features are not show on Android. Plus in-app camera is an downgrade. Hopefully next update will give us that.plus. The newest gimbal has some new features that should be universal across all gimbals. Until that happens, it's two to three stars.

This app gets one star until they add a button to lock the gimbal in a single direction on the DJI Pocket 2. Currently the only way to do this is with the function button on the detachable joystick controller, so you simply don't have this functionality if you're using a different attachment (like the adapter to use a phone). It should be an easy option to add to the list of gimbal lock options.

I can't believe this app doesn't let users choose the storage to store files. Default is the phone memory and only. How many people have enough space to store 20 4k video files into their phone memory... and this app has been out for years and so many people complain about it but not fixing it. Many people ask dji and their answer was 'thanks for understanding'. Understand what!?

App is good, but the fact that wifi has to be used is a big down fall. On the go, one never knows what wifi is being connected to, unsecure for sure. App should use mobile data along with bluetooth to keep security a priority. The app is totally a security risk for me because mobile data is all I use.

Bought the DJI om5 to give this a shot as I was recommended this for video. The app does not open at all (pixel 5 running android 12) I'm hoping it's because I'm running a beta. Being told this device services more for iPhone people. I hope that is not the case or else I'm going to have to return it.

There is one problem. And that is Gesture control. I mean props to DJI OM 4 for being what it said and it delivered! BUT there is this one feature I am eager to use and it is not functioning as it was intended to, I hope your team support can read this and report the complaint. because not EVERYONE CAN HAVE AN IPHONE 12 PRO MAX DJI! and I know it's hard to tract every phone company. a simple hand or peace gesture, yet it can't detect even though at low light. what the heck. anyways great product

This app lags badly behind the version they have on their website. Many functions don't work and those that do drain the battery rapidly. I don't know why they don't maintain this version of the app but for those of us with admin controlled devices - or OM accessories are effectively worthless. I've tried escalating through support twice and only received vague promises of the update is coming... I'm not holding my breath.
