Pancha Pakshi is a traditional system for judging which hours of the day favour you and which are against you. Divya Pakshi works it out for your birth details and your location, and then explains what it found — in words, not in a table you have to already know how to read. Written in plain language, with none of the jargon assumed. MONTHLY CALENDAR See a whole month at once, each day split into its day and night halves and coloured by how it runs for your bird. Pick the day first, then pick the hour. PRASHNA Ask about something that matters and get a traditional reading that points to yes, no, or not as asked — drawn from three birds: you, the matter, and the moment you asked in. The app shows you how the reading was arrived at, so you can weigh it for yourself. NO BIRTH DETAILS? STILL WORKS If you do not know your birth details, build the report from your name and its swara instead. Both kinds of chart can be saved, and either can be put on your home screen as a widget that updates on its own through the day. REMINDERS Get told before your ruling period starts and before your dying period starts, for day and for night, with the lead time you choose. IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, हिन्दी, ಕನ್ನಡ, தமிழ், తెలుగు and മലയാളം — across the app, including the readings. SET IT TO YOUR TRADITION Schools differ, so the calculation is yours to set: bio-rhythm of the natal moon, whether each paksha takes a different bird per nakshatra, and the same choice for the swara mapping. Defaults follow the traditional method. TRAININGS AND DOUBT CLEARING Trainings are announced in the app and run once enough people have asked for one in the same language. You can also request a one-to-one doubt clearing sitting to work through the concepts or the app itself. SUBSCRIPTION Divya Pakshi opens with a free trial. After that, the Calculation plan covers everything the app works out: the daily timings, every yāma and sub-period with its colour, direction, element and strength, the monthly calendar, Prashna and the home-screen widgets. The Calculation + Prediction plan adds the written readings — what a period means, what it is held to favour, and the Prashna reading in words. Tradition holds that work begun in a favourable period gets its best run, and that the same work is heavier going in a period against you. Use it to help choose when — not to decide what will happen.
