Description
DigiSim Nurse Training is a training app for enhancing students’ clinical nursing skills. The app contains different procedures which consist of four main elements:
Video: Watch the procedures being demonstrated by a professional nurse. The video demonstrations include all the steps of the procedure performed in a realistic context. The videos can be downloaded for offline viewing.
Equipment: Prepare for the procedures by making sure you have everything you need.
Checklist: Train the correct skills and sequential execution of the procedures.
Training: Listen to audio instructions which guide you through the different steps of the procedures.
The procedures are available in English, Spanish and Norwegian.
The DigiSim Nurse Training app has been developed for the DigiSim project (Development and Implementation of a digital Skills Simulation App for European Nursing Education) as part of the ERASMUS+ program. The project partners are The University of Nottingham (England), The Catholic University of Valencia (Spain) and The University of Stavanger (Norway).
