DLE is the official application that the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) and the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (ASALE) put at your disposal to consult the 23rd edition of the «Dictionary of the Spanish language». This free access is possible thanks to the commitment of Obra Social «la Caixa» with culture.
Resolve instantly and easily any questions about the meaning of a word and its spelling and grammatical characteristics, directly accessing the database of the Royal Spanish Academy.
Explore, with an agile and intuitive interface, the multiple possibilities of consulting the most important dictionary of the Spanish language. Among them are:
- Approximate search for words, expressions and phrases, using a powerful algorithm.
