DG Media Player

DG Media is a video/audio player designed for android media hubs/players like minix, qbox, mxq and other tv boxes but it can be used on phones and tablets.
NVidia shield, android tv support has also been added.
it also supports samsungs dex mode for multiwindow and fullscreen playback.
it allows you to connect to windows smb(samba) \ CIFS shares and play media or play media off the local device like usb hard drives, memory sticks or sd cards.
you can use the inbuilt video player for most videos but you can also use an external player like vlc or mx player if you want to.
the inbuilt video player supports hard coded subtitles and more subtitle options are being worked on.
it is designed to be pretty simple and to work with the remote controls that come with tv boxes like minix.
there is auto play next video support for binge watching tv shows, it will play to the end of an entire folder.

DG Media Player uses the following permissions:
• "full network access", to open network and internet streams.
• "read the contents of your storage", in order to read your media files on the device.
• "modify or delete the contents of your storage", in order to allow deletion of media files and store subtitles.
• "prevent device from sleeping" to prevent your device from sleeping while watching a video.
• "internet", google ad services uses the internet to display ads.
• "record audio and modify audio settings", for the audio player visualizer
