requires following permissions on your android device.

precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

view network connections

view Wi-Fi connections
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

A complete package to understand and monitor the phone hardware. Edit: Just bought premium at a discounted price. Just wanted to the support the developer to keep the app ad-free.

Wow what a beautiful app! I spent hours trying to find a decent app to perform one single function and it was right here under my nose! And I've only just begun to really explore it. It's beautiful, functional, professional, and I really lucked out with it. Download it and thank the developer by donating. We need more developers like these! A+

  3. Alex Ohannes-avatar

Best app of its kind! One thing that would be very nice to see is the option to view the network traffic as megabits/kilobits instead of kilobytes, as megabits is generally more useful for that sort of thing (not everyone is good at doing on the fly conversions like that in our heads). Yes, I know it's not a big deal but it sort of seems like a pointless limitation.

  4. Kern Jack-avatar

    Kern Jack

This is the best app to give information on your device's system. Probably better than CPU-Z and Aida64. I might get conflicting stuff like the type of RAM on my device, others saying I have LPDDR3 but this app says I have LPDDR4X RAM. I think this app is telling the truth because I'm getting faster and smoother performance with my current device than my last device.

Still great in February 2020. Fantastic app. Always works perfectly, and exactly as described. Highly comprehensive, and fast too. Long-term user happy to upgrade to Pro version. Happy Christmas, and a safe and prosperous new year.

  6. William Sowerby-avatar

    William Sowerby

Incorrectly identified processor, processor speed, installed ram size, and rom size, this software doesn't scan the device, id as android 10 with 1866mhz 8gb ram and 256gb rom storage, even id my 128gb microsd as 32gb which is amusing as it's genuine kingston sdxc retailed from the factory. REPLY: I have secured external access, no external sniffers allowed, google included. Firmware was chinese hack, showed an MT6580 as MT6799 only thing your software detected correctly was the cpu being 32bit

  7. shan cao-avatar

Nice tool ! Just one question, if no light sensor information or accelerometer information is shown in the sensors column, does that mean those sensors are broken? The brightness of my pixel 3 stopped changing automatically, and I am trying to find why.

Best app I've ever used for things otherwise known only by devs and experimental feature users. This app has it's own purpose, but I'd like to see it grow by utilizing logging ability of real time sensors. Would make quite the tool just the magnetic sensor alone.Like a 10 sec real time record action, pause, play etc GUI is freaking sweet. Honestly, just like all this devs apps are amazing from my non-neutered Pixel phone. Thanks for helping make my device stay relevant for 3+ years!

  20. Rivke Lela Reid-avatar

    Rivke Lela Reid

Nicely done. Requires some deep knowledge of phone/os/etc: most negative reviews are understandable, but if info is bad, it's a reflection of the phone providing bad info. Wasn't going to try because I don't trust free apps without ads - but went to developers website, and saw it was likely a fun side project for a pro, AND you in fact CAN pay for it. (People who expect free, no ads apps to be benign are not understanding that developers have to pay for food, housing, etc JUST LIKE MOST FOLKS

I like this app over the years but I can't use the cpu cores floating on my display as it's vertical. I like the gpu readout and ram readout those i can use. So is it possible to make cpu readout horizontally ,Also is it possible to add the cpu cores in notifications horizontally.

  24. Samurai Zeta-avatar

This is app that i need, the floating monitor is usefull....but the gpu monitor doesn't show on my phone....please add option to choose which core cpu to display on floating monitor and i wish it has also fps counter in any mode (2d or 3d)...😎

  25. Cliff Malcolm Willett-avatar

    Cliff Malcolm Willett

This shows more in-depth information than most similar apps and is much better laid out, with a logical set of tabs, with each tab covering a single category. I particularily like how some info, like the amount of RAM being used, is also displayed as a percentage with a little live pie chart. It saves me from having to constantly perform mental arithmetic.🤔😇

  26. Donald Gunterman-avatar

    Donald Gunterman

Works perfectly well. I use this and CPU-Z. The only thing I can think of is that RAM readings are not accurate because of system reserved space. It is the same on CPU-Z and most apps. The entire RAM is just not available to read.

Pointless since it relies upon the kernel to supply all the data. It does not interrogate device registers to prove hardware identity. It also does not sanity check firmware reported values like firmware claims its android 8.1 but reports sdk api of 19.. 19 was used in Android 4.4.2 and never with 8.1 or internal storage reporting a multiplied usage and free space value while enumerating the files on the fake partition will prove firmware is faking sizes reported. Must try harder! Mediatek chip id app reports true cpu this does not, Fake Test app exposes most of the bogus data that this toy believes blindly and repeats the firmware lies like saying data partition has 512G size when really its less than 15G physical, or this reports 10 cores when cpu only has 4 cores and this reports 8G of RAM when there is only 1G plus a small swap partition... this claims the device is 4G LTE capable when the Mediatek SoC only supports HSPA 3G... developer may like to think their app is best out there but if it believes a hacked build of androids fictional conf file contents then they are delusional. In reply to the developers response sorry you are wrong and currently deluded if that is what you honestly think.

    Orson Wellz

I've been using this app now for several months, and only just realized that I haven't yet written a review. Short and sweet... This app is so useful I can't imagine having as good an Android experience without it. The information it provides helps me with so many different things... Such as checking what resources my programs are using, the quality of my Wi-Fi signal, and so much more. Literally speaking, I suppose it's not indispensable... But I wouldn't want to get along without it.

  63. David Browning-avatar

This is a fine app for identifying hardware and software components. I found it to be one of the more accurate & usable tools in a crowded field. The "floating" real time monitors are great for tinkerers. There's a lot of functionality under the hood (look around!) but the default UI is straight forward and easy to navigate.

This app 's free version is as good as or better than any app pretending to give a similar experience I've tried, including a couple that I've upgraded to payed versions. The interface is intuitive, clean and logical; and with the exception of 1 or 2 buttons that may only be in the pro version iseems perfectly accessible with the talkback screenreader that we blind folks can use to work with our android kit. Many users can replace 2 or more apps with DC; great for any android user

A very useful app. One of the few apps that display all the information regarding the smartphone. There is a small problem. I don't know whether it's a bug or not. But the app displays my processor as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 but it actually powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626. So please fix that.

  68. [simpy•wimpy•pimp]-avatar

I like the app very much but I have one question. Why does it shows that my CPU temp is more than 300°C, I don't get it? I have been scorching the internet for any info on CPU temp ranges of android phones and all of them say it should be between 60-20, and your apps reading doesn't add up to that? If it's something else, please notify ME!!! I'm using a Oppo Realme 3 Pro

  69. Jeff deLucia-avatar

    Jeff deLucia

Info provided is great however paying for the paid version not worth it, wasted the $2.50 The Pro version unlocks widgets of a sort (which is what I was looking for) but all the widgets are not customizable by any means nor do they give you just basic info. For example I just want to see the Dashboard info in a widget, specifically system uptime, ram, etc. but nope not an option. And of course the Pro version is an "in-app upgrade" so no way to return and refund the purchase. 😒

Nice app. One error: 4GB RAM in 32bits CPU tablet is displayed as 1GB and RAM used is in negative numbers but free RAM of about 3.2GB is probably correct. Probable need use of unsigned long integers rather than signed integers to display 4GB RAM. Have emailed feedback.

The dev of this app (xda user name: flar2 ) is world known for his awesome kernel (Elemental X) and kernel control app (Ex kernel manager) and he is a great dev that's why I chose to get this device info app. While there are quite a few apps out there similar to this they weren't made by the Elemental kernel developer, flar2. :) Highly recommended!! ! Love this app. Everything you would possibly need to know is in this app. One thing I would suggest adding to the app is more network and sim card info. Like saying what bands and frequencies your phone supports. Also state the NID and band name of the current tower.

Exemplary system monitoring app. Easy to read UI great range of menus to check on device info. What's preventing a 5 star review is the font change in the most recent July 2019 update. Preferred the previous font face and doesn't seem to be a way to change it.

Excellent app. The CPU Times feature is broken for me though, since a reset doesn't seem to work and if I can't see usage changes over time (either by occasional reset or by a different chart) it is useless.

Lovely clean app with all the useful stuff at your fingertips (RAM and running processes etc). The app itself though uses more resources than most.

Could you please add the option to stream/export live sensor data with Bluetooth, UDP, WIFI, etc? other than that it's a great app. keep it up.
