**What is Hill’s Dental Index app?**
Hill’s Dental Index is a free smartphone web app for veterinarians that helps to easily assess the dental status of dogs & cats, as well as monitor changes from visit to visit.
Simple, easy and visual way to complete dental check in few minutes plus impress your clients!
**Key features:**
- Assess Plaque, Tartar and Gingivitis in 4 recommended teeth with real image examples for guidance (dog & cat versions available)
- Record missing teeth and extractions
- Record additional assessments (incl. tooth mobility, gingival recession or hypertrophy, fractures)
- Visual Report & Tracker
Hill’s Dental Index app was developed by Hill’s Pet Nutrition and is intended for use by veterinarians only. This app is not designed for the diagnosis of dental conditions, only as an aid in their management. Proper diagnosis and patient management are always the responsibility of the attending veterinary surgeon. Hill’s cannot be held responsible for any claims, by the pet owner or veterinarian, related to the diagnosis or patient management that have been applied or recommended by the veterinary healthcare team as a result of using this app.
