It only connects directly to the device. There is no way to view unless you're within range, ue on cpu or elsewhere through app. In saying that, whats the sense of it if your child is a new driver, and you want to make sure they're being good? Or, your significant other was in a wreck, and unable to use their phone.... wouldn't it be nice if one could make sure their family is safe??!!

Very bad app, doesn't sync as expected. It's highly recommended to have a light version only for dash camera. We don't need this poor social network! I can help with professional Android app development if you have lack of professionals. Hardware is good but app is horrible 😫

Just got it and set it up, but does anyone know how to change the units for the over lay info? It says MPH in the small white watermarked info in the bot left but the nice graphical overlay is KPM and Meters.???

Pro: Nice camera. Cons: 1) Videos only records for 10 seconds max (WHY?). 2) Unclear, unhelpful box contained instructions. 3) Website is worthless.

Have had trouble since I install this 2 months ago, now I can't even log on because it says email format is not correct. My email hasn't changed in 15 years. Can never Pair the camera to the app. Over all it has been a terrible experience when the camera did work it was great picture quality was good no complaints there. But the app is trash and When you post a bad review You are inundated with emails and it never lets up. Wish I could find a good app to work with this camera.

The last update which updated the firmware let me connect one time to my camera and then no longer connects. I have rebooted and uninstalled and reinstalled and no connection. Worked great before that. I am using a galaxy S7 and was impressed to begin with. I really would like a direct link to get the APK itself without having to pull from here. May I have a link to direct download or could you email me the file?

This camera works by showing itself as a Wi-Fi router, so you'll need to turn off Smart Switching on your phone (under your phone's Network or Wi-Fi settings). Your phone will try (and fail) to connect to the internet when it connects to the camera so make sure that you go into your phone's Settings and tell your phone that you acknowledge that there is no internet at this router, so it doesn't automatically disconnect from the camera due to a lack of internet.

Awful update. Everything worked fine for over a year of owning my camera. Tried using the app just this morning, wouldn't connect to my camera. After troubleshooting for an hour I ripped my dashcam down. Thankfully I'm looking for a new camera now, because needing footage after an accident would have been impossible thanks to this update. Will NEVER purchase another ddpai product so I can forget about this application.

horrible app. This is the bulkiest app for a dashcam I've ever had. I've spent the better part of the day trying to get it connected, finally succeeded, went out to my car and when it's unable to reconnect it again. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased.

The app updated and removed the DDPai mini app then downloaded the DDPai2 app and stopped connecting with the camera. It doesn't matter if you download the mini or mini2, you will get the mini2 which doesn't work with the mini I have and there seems to be no correction for it. I am replacing this system soon, ver unhappy with this product, I will not purchase this product or related items again.
