The Integrated Transport Centre(ITC) presents the new update of Darb application for Abu Dhabi residents and visitors. Darb Mobile provides an “Intelligent Transport System in the palm of your hand”. The application requires at least 3G network or Wi-Fi access. For many of the system functions, an access to GPS location information on the smartphone is also required. Darb app provides the users with live data on traffic conditions, traffic incidents and road works in Abu Dhabi. In addition, it provides access to road service patrol. Users can also plan journey around Abu Dhabi city and get real time information of Bus schedules and facilitate Toping up Hafilat Card. The app also enables users to book a taxi, pay for on-street Mawaqif parking, and obtain ferry schedule information. It also enables them to contact ITC through a “Geofeedback” feature (Darbi) to report any complains related to transportation services.

The app is awful in every which way, it uses a 24-hour format and you cant change that, picking a location is hard, it gives you times for busses that are 5 or 7 hours away, and when you finally get around finding a rout, you cant start the journy, besides that, the gps tracker is extreamly clunky and slow. My experience with it was very bad, as the rout that i took was supposes to take me to Al-reem Island instead found myself in Saadiyat Island because the bus stop mames were incorrect.

Ok so we know there is the pandemic and buses have to have a certain number of people. But at least increase the frequency of buses or the buses themselves. in the event the bus comes full of people and you have to wait for the next one. Above all else, at least introduce queuing at the bus stop so that its first come first serve. Whoever gets there first gets to get in the bus first. But for now its survival of the fittest. Whoever gets to the door and pushes in will get into the bus.

The internet is built for exactly this type of app. I put the name of a street on Darbi's own map, yet it can't find the street or a route. This is only one or its failings. Why not integrate Google maps? It works for everywhere else.

This app will make you BP patient .some time u will check bus timing with high wifi speed its will take 5 minutes to operate. And you will see that u miss the bus this app is worst .I think the one how Creat this app is idiot

Hi.... after update to latest version....it doesn't show current bus timing....it shows buses after 3 or 4 hours.... please check and fix this issue asap... thanks

Not able to activate the email account. When I try to log in, error message shows as, activate email account as per instructions sent on mail. There is no email received for account activation.

This new app or updated version is totally useless, the timing is not reliable, the live bus or the next bus timing is not there, the bus timing is confusing, it gives 5 hours advance. I hope you return it back the way it was before. Updating version should be better, but this one is worse.

New app is total useless. Time is not accurate. I missed bus many time following the timing showed in the app. App should show bus timing like earlier .ie the remaining time to reach particular bus stop.
