Most games I play for a while and then get bored and uninstall- but not this one. More than a year and still at it daily. It is realistic (haven't seen a 29 yet) but it has helped me get quicker with what cards to put in the crib. I do wish there was an option to call muggins, but the AI does count their scores perfectly all the time. No annoying ads- just cribbage. This is the one you want to have.

I just recently learned how to play cribbage and I'm addicted! I love this app because it's super easy to use and it's really helping to improve my game. I like the info you get after each game telling you how you could have improved your score. The hints you get in the easy setting on which cards to throw into the crib are hit and miss. I've scored tons of points by disregarding the suggestion and going with my gut. I think this is a great app and I highly recommend it!

The game play is quite good, but I have issues with the ads opening while I am trying to tap a card, the game occasionally just suddenly closes ( usually when I am in the lead, but not always ), and recently, when I am not using the default background color, the background flickers colors during game play.

This is the best app that I've found to really learn the game, instead of just a quick, mindless game to pass the time. You actually learn the do's & don'ts, strategy etc. It has helped me brush up on a game I loved playing over 10 years ago, and it has made it infinitely easier to teach my husband how to play. I'm really enjoying it.

Updated after 2 months of play: Random Dealing seems much better. Better equity of hands dealt. Almost Perfect! Just add one more thing... 1. It would be nice to see a summary of exactly how well you fared start playing sub-optimally. Sometime the optimal is not the way to get the max nor is it the best way to crib out and win. and it would be nice to know when I actually obtained the max score or won because of sub-optimal plays. I know, too complicated, right? Lol

The AI on this is pretty lame. The computer keeps pace by getting dealt double runs on each hand but you will eventually win through pegging. The computer will almost always win first crib. For example, the computer outscored me 85-50 on hands dealt but I lost the game because last crib was mine and computer pegged first. It was fun at first but this pattern of playing gets tiresome.

It is a fair game. Two observations after the first few days. First the AI always leads with the lowest card in their hand, or plays the lowest card when no points are available. Even when it's not to their advantage. Second the analyzer, seems to forget the crib and other aspects. Many times I will split up points out of my hand to make sure I don't give my opponents crib extra points. Or in situations I will set my hand up to peg. Analyzer doesn't account for any of it.

While this game is easy to use and has some nice features such as the discard analyzer, it falls into the same traps as most computer card games. That trap is higher level just means better, as in absurdly better, cards for the AI. Constant double runs, almost always getting the perfect cut down to a flush or no such suit; while the player gets 2-4-8-10-Q-Q type hands to play. Skill level on pegging and discarding seems the same across the levels, Pro just gets great cards to play with.

I've spent many hours playing this game. I especially like the interactive features such as notifications of suboptimal discards and plays, which can be turned off if you choose. Also the analytical summarization graphs available after each game. This is a great learning tool for those new to the game. I've tried other digital cribbage games and none of them come close to this one.

This is without a doubt the best free app that I found as of yet. Full gameplay is available offline and playing while connected has minimal interference from advertising. The statistical analysis after each game offers useful feedback on how anyone can improve their play and advance in skill level. The different levels of gameplay offer truly different challenges for all skill levels, I would highly recommend this game for the newcomer as well as experienced players alike.
