The app and idea are great, the execution is absolutely terrible. First car, bought and on the way to pick up and receive a call the they just received the car and the check engine light is on and one of the windshield wipers isn't even attached to the car therefore they would not feel comfortable selling me the car, kudos for the honesty, but at the last second. Second car the customer sevice with the pre-approval, which I was already pre-approved through, is so mind boggling dense.

I was really skeptical before I started. Picking the car was easy. Delivery was a week late. But that was communicated. Everyone helped on the phone. Car had a leak in the back axle. They helped me understand what i had to do to get it fixed at no cost. Things went wrong, but those things where delt with well. The guys who delivered the car where amazing. He detailed it perfectly. He called ahead and worked with a small team to do everything on schedule. Communication every step of the way.

Just bought a camaro from carvana over the labor day weekend. It was super easy. The staff at carvana were all super friendly and helpful. The website was a little touchy on my phone but it all worked out. The delivery driver and his helper or trainee were polite and explained everything and were willing to answer all questions. Unfortunately they have a lot of issues to resolve before you can really rely on them as a dealer. 18 hours before my car was supposed to be delivered I was told there were issues that needed fixed and it would be delayed over 2 weeks. However they were unable to even share what those issues were or how they were seemingly missed in the 150 point inspection they already completed, including the fixes. In doing research this is a very common experience. The app is also very buggy.

If I could give zero, I would. Our first purchase with Carvana was great! The van came in exactly the condition it was advertised as, the delivery guy was nice & informative, and it checked out with our mechanic. Three months later we decided to purchase again, it was the exactly the opposite experience. The car was not in the condition it was advertised, they didn't take pictures of most of the chips scratches, cracked windshield on the inside. 17 days after returning, they still have our money

"One hell of a Barn find!" I was looking for a very specific, somewhat rare car, carvana actually had a selection. After a bad experience at Car n Drive out of NJ, I decided to try out Carvana. Not only did they come through, they delivered! And the car, less than 12k miles on a one of a kind rare Mini Cooper Coupe S! Not convenient in any way. Been trying to purchase a car for almost a month now. Everytime the delivery day comes up I get a call saying we are sorry but the car is having an issue. Why are you posting cars that can't be delivered due to various issues? What happened to your multipoint inspection? On my 4th delivery reschedule, gave up on the 1st car I wanted. Had higher hopes on my 2nd choice but got delayed again. Had to take off work w/o pay, and added to the insurance which I prepayed.
