Coordinates Converter

This is a practical and easy to use coordinate conversion tool.

With this tool you will be able to:

- Convert Latitude-Longitude data in UTM coordinates

- Convert UTM data in Latitude-Longitude coordinates

- Apply datum changes in both formats (Lat-Long and UTM)

- Make batch conversion of the above from a file and save it in a output file.

Datum conversions are approximations done based on coordinates differences in one area in relation to the WGS-84 geocentric ellipsoid Datum. Although approximations are consistent, there is always an error associated with it in relation to real ground position. Users must be aware of it.

Batch conversion can be achieved using text file named datum_in.csv put on external storage path of your phone that can be located in our phone external storage.The datum_in.csv file will be read and the transformation will be executed if the file is in the right format. Each line of the file must contain only the latitude and longitude values, in decimal degrees, separated by semi-colon(;) or UTM N and UTM E , Zone and Hemisphere separated by semi-colon. (see below)

The resulting conversion based on the selections done in the Convert from File tool will be saved in the same location as datum_out.csv

Latitudes south and longitude west must be signed as negative in the original datum_in.csv file
