A Comissão Nacional de Ética em Pesquisa - Conep, é uma comissão do Conselho Nacional de Saúde - CNS, vinculada ao Ministério da Saúde, que visa automatizar e dar maior segurança ao registro e monitoramento de pesquisas no Brasil. Possibilita a ampliação da comunicação entre os diversos entes do Sistema CEP/CONEP e maior transparência das ações do Sistema para a sociedade brasileira e internacional. A CONEP tem como objetivo dispor sobre normas e diretrizes relacionadas à ética em pesquisas com seres humanos e também é responsável por gerenciar a rede de Comitês de Ética em Pesquisa - CEP. The National Committee for Ethics in Research - CONEP is a committee of the National Health Council - CNS, under the Ministry of Health, which aims to automate and provide greater security to the registration and monitoring of research in Brazil. It enables the expansion of communication between the various bodies of the CEP / CONEP and greater transparency of the system's actions to the Brazilian and international society. CONEP aims to provide for standards and guidelines related to ethics in research with humans and is also responsible for managing the network of Research Ethics Committees - CEP.
