Description
If photos of your city or street are not in Yandex.Maps, you can add them yourself - in the People's Map application.
Your photos will help people navigate the city. For example, if an obstacle hits the photo, mothers with strollers and people with limited mobility will learn about the bad road and will be able to change the route in advance. Based on the images, cartographers will enter missing information into Yandex.Maps: pedestrian crossings, traffic lights or organizations.
You can shoot the city while walking, cycling or driving - even in the background.
Each photo takes from 300 to 500 KB, and if the space on the phone runs out, shooting will stop. Photos will be deleted from your phone as soon as you send them in the app.
If you want to not only upload pictures, but also edit the map, join the community of folk cartographers: https://n.maps.yandex.ru.
