بهدف إدخال مفهوم رائد جديد إلى السلطنة، تستعد كل من صحيفتي"الشبيبة" وتايمز أوف عمان الرائدتين في عمان لإطلاق أول صحيفتين في العالم على تطبيق "الواتس آب". ويأتي هذه المفهوم المبتكر الجديد تحت اسم "واتس علوم" (بالعربية)"وواتس نيوز" (بالإنجليزية)،
