I am a longtime Tribune subscriber and recently decided to forgo the print version and exclusively use the app. I have been using the app for several years and was aware of its limitations, but these are magnified when using the eNewspaper version. Pages stubbornly refuse to load until banner apps load (and sometimes) cycle through their allotted screen time. Advancing to another page using the top index bar is also often futile. Newspaper content is fine but app mechanics are weak.

Good but not the best, landscape has 1/2 of screen covered top w/ads & bottom w/ junk. This is with subscription. Overall, content is superb. I get 8 to 10 emails daily for stories on my selected interests. Been a subscriber off & on for almost 40y.

I'm a paid subscriber. The amount of ads on this app, even with a paid subscription, are terrible. Ads flashing all over the place. It's very distracting. Will not be keeping this paid subscription due to the abundance of ads.

- Search feature is basically unusable with no suggestions, filters, or sort capabilities. - Dates shown on articles don't include the year so you can read half an article before you realize it is from 5 years ago - Sometimes when clicking links in the app/articles it makes you log in again - Sometimes the ads glitch out on the page and block content - No indication if you have already read an article - App only contains a small fraction of articles available on the actual newspaper

Even signed into my subscription app says I've read all my free stories. Just like a right wing grifter it says I need to subscribe again. Reading in Chrome works better. Losing the app and subscription may be soon to follow.

I pay for a subscription and there are still tons of pop up ads. I also click on a link to a story and it's behind a paywall, even though I have a paid subscription.

Undependable. The enewspaper is balky, pages don't advance, articles won't open when you click on them, and sometimes the enewspaper just closes altogether when I am reading something.

Had paper but they screwed that too. I canceled my 40 dollar subscription which had daily papers since they stopped for 2 weeks thought id keep it electronically but not for 20 a month ffs newsprint is dead

7/3/2021 - Only allows a few stories a month for free. Subscription is $19.99 a month which is way more than I want to pay.

Thank you for last update i can finally read the paper again without having to download or use the pages at bottom to go to next page.
