Learn chess opening - Scandinavian Defense, solving multiple puzzles from real games. One of the best way to study chess opening is to solve puzzles from real games in which the opening takes place. In this application you are invited to solve tactics and find the strongest moves in games started with Scandinavian Defense. You can see a solution of the puzzle, you can see a game in which the puzzle took place. No doubt, with this application you will play Scandinavian Defense much better. The Scandinavian Defense (or Center Counter Defense, or Center Counter Game) is a chess opening characterized by the moves: 1. e4 d5. The Scandinavian Defense is one of the oldest recorded openings, first recorded as being played between Francesc de Castellví and Narcís Vinyoles in Valencia in 1475 in what may be the first recorded game of modern chess, and being mentioned by Lucena in 1497. Analysis by Scandinavian masters in the late 19th century showed it is playable for Black; Ludvig Collijn played the opening with success.
