A very peculiar game that grabbed my attention more than I expected! With it's unique art style, the game presents itself as a relatively straight forward card game with a few clear goals. What captivated me was the dynamic of each new run giving unique challenges, changing how you play. If you get greedy trying to bolster a chests value, you won't have enough moves to pick it up. The use of illuminated cards/enemies to change it's adjacent cards values is another. Awesome game WELL worth a try!

One of the best games on the store, Card Thief reminds us of a time when one could download a free game and reasonably expect an experience as enjoyable as premium offers. The delightful art and simple controls hide a complex puzzle system that is sure to entertain for hours. The free user will not experience a single add without seeking them out, and while there are wait timers, they do not impede gameplay - only unlocking new progress. Even so, it's worth paying full price to help a grear dev.

Not a traditional card game. Not a deck-building game. Better. Initial learning curve is a little steep. Figuring out gameplay can take a while, and effective strategy takes longer. But overall, worth checking out.

There is only one thing that I would like added, if when you get caught, that you either have to wait for a little while or try a jailbreak level in which you could steal your stuff back instead of the chest, but still gather gold and set highscores
