It would help tremendously if there was in indicator showing which images we uploaded even AFTER we lose our wifi connection. Wifi goes in and out so easily. It's not even 30 seconds later when I reconnect and I have no idea where I left off. Spending time going into my picture gallery to confirm, often times, leads to being kicked off wifi again. It's frustrating and this app is supposed to make my life simpler. I shoot fast action, continuous. This would help. Please help developers.

This app worked great, I used it for quite a while then my phone updated and now I can no longer get the app to connect. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, tried all sorts of troubleshooting advice but nothing seems to help. As to whether it's my phone or the app who knows, either way it's very frustrating and disappointing.

Barely works on Android 10 (Pixel 4xl). Neither BT nor NFC nor direct WiFi work, I got the app to function *once* via a shared WiFi network. The phone is a 2019 flagship with up-to-date software, not some obscure Chinese brand or outdated model. Conclusion seems to be that Canon doesn't maintain the app very well. UI looks like it's 2010 too but that's charming in a way. I made sure there was no user error by repeatedly following all instructions to the letter. NFC/WiFi/BT also work otherwise.

I got to finally work after restarting my phone after setting up connection. But to keep it working after switching option from menu, I have to restart my phone. Not sure why it has to bring up the screen that shows find network, connect to network, connect camera steps each time you pick a different option from the main menu. Fix this and I would rate it higher.

What's the point of purchasing the Canon wi-fi card (W-E1) which is used by this app when the number of camera menu items transmitted by the card can be counted on the fingers of one hand? What a joke. Don't bother with this app and DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE CANON WI-FI CARD! What a shame DSLR Controller has been abandoned by the developer. Canon should pick that ball up and run with it.

The only good thing about this app is that Bluetooth can release the shutter. But it could do so much more as set the iso, aperture and exposure. Wi-Fi is completely useless as I cannot set the settings neither from my phone nor from the camera UI.

How can this garbage app be rated 4* I have tried both regular wifi and nfc. I can sometimes get it 2 work after the first try After that it won't connect. I think I have tried everything I can read via internet. Canon needs to step up here!

Could not begin to get anything to work. Tried deleting and reinstalling 5 times. Entered a dozen passwords on phone. It kept giving me different passwords. Definitely one of the worst evenings of my adult life.

Overall the app does what it's made for. But why don't you provide an option to download multiple photos at a time. Rather it takes a lot of time in downloading photos one by one. This would be a great feature if built in.

Not a fan of the new update. I liked being able to select which images I wanted to save via my phone. I don't want to have to scroll through my thousands of images on my camera to find one photo.
