Inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekanand, Bharat Vikas Parishad is a service-cum-sanskar oriented, non-political, socio-cultural voluntary organisation. It is dedicated to the development and growth of our country in all fields of human endeavour – cultural, social, academic, moral, national and spiritual – by promoting a sense of patriotism, national unity and integrity.

Bharat Vikas Parishad undertakes various projects and programmes in furtherance of its objectives. In this context, its Publications Division brings out literature and publications - both in print and electronic media - about the activities of the organisation.

The app provide access, among others to (a) Questions and Answers on General Knowledge viz. history, geography, personalities etc. (b) Lyrics of songs to be sung by students in chorus in schools etc. Other app contents relate to providing access to various publications of the organization (Bharat Vikas Parishad) which arranges programmes where students are invited to perform. App’s aim is to add to the knowledge base of the students and of the volunteers of the organization and the public. The literature includes monthly and quarterly magazines, books, pamphlets and articles.
