Its format is presented under the same layout and sequence used by the Apostles and the Early Church in the first century of our era. Faithfully following the style of translation of previous Editions, the Textual Bible is based on the best available critical text, according to the advances of the Critical Hebraic Bible evaluated according to the four main witnesses that are: the Masoretic Text, the Samaritan Pentateuch, the Septuagint and the manuscripts of the Judean Desert. And for the New Covenant the twenty-eighth edition of the Greek New Testament. Faithful to its predecessors, the Fourth Edition has been carried out under the unsurpassed discipline of Contextual Translation, which expresses, without compromise, not what the Sacred Author could have said, but what He says in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. Just like its previous editions, but greatly benefited by the latest findings of archeology, computer technology applied to manuscripts and the advance of biblical studies, the Textual Bible is an extraordinary instrument to explore the depths of the Word of God. Through its text, this edition includes more than 12,000 footnotes, as well as competent material for the Special Passages section, extended to more than 300 notes of exegetical and theological interest.
