For Jehovah's Witnesses, there is no book more important than the Bible. We use it constantly to study and teach others the good news of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 24:14). For this reason, no effort was spared for the revision of the New World Translation to be both enduring and tasteful at the same time. Some features it features are: -When the text contains simple brackets ([]), it is because an auxiliary word or phrase was added that does not appear in the original to make sense and help the sentence. - If the original languages were translated into Portuguese, and the English edition was used as a basis for later translations into other modern languages, including Spanish.
