La Sagrada Biblia traducida por José María Bover, SJ y por Francisco Cantera salió a la luz en 1947. Fue publicada por la B. A. C. pero no se ha reeditado desde hace años.
Fue revisada por el P. Félix Puzo, S. J. eminente bíblista y colaborador del P. Bóver.
Se considera la primera edición crítica católica en castellano de las Sagradas Escrituras en base a los textos Hebreo, griego y Latín y aún sigue siendo apreciada por muchos debido a su excelente calidad de traducción.
