BDB Netzwerk

The Association of German Builders, Architects and Engineers e. V. (BDB) is a professional association. It represents around 9,000 members nationwide.

Members receive news about professional policy and events via the network, can call up documents, exchange information on current developments and network with one another. In addition, parts of the association's work are organized through the network.

The BDB is a freelance, salaried or professional organization, for example, professionals and students who are involved in the construction work. It is divided into 15 state associations and around 120 district groups.

Integral planning as well as promoting the ideas of the construction team and the associated, targeted and responsible cooperation of architects, civil engineers and entrepreneurs in the planning, preparation and execution of construction tasks are among the goals of the BDB. Other goals are to maintain and increase the quality of construction in all areas, to promote the building culture and to build sustainably while being aware of the responsibility of the professionals to preserve the natural foundations of life and protect the climate. The BDB bundles the planning experts' expertise and represents their interests in all relevant professional, educational and socio-political areas in relation to politics, administration and civil society.
