BC Broker

First published in 1978, BC Broker is one of Canada’s oldest and most respected trade publications for the property and casualty insurance industry. Every two months it reports on coming regulatory changes and emerging trends, and provides interpretation from industry leaders. A technical insurance article called a HyperArticle is included with every edition; general insurance licensees can earn Continuing Education credits by completing HyperArticles (program subscription is required).

BC Broker is sent to general insurance brokerages as a benefit of membership in the Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia. More than 90% of the P&C insurance brokerages in B.C. are members of the IBABC. In addition, it’s read by insurers, adjusters, restoration contractors, lawyers and other professionals allied with the general insurance industry. BC Broker is shared amongst office staff and online.
