Actually watching the programmes is fine, but the 'homepage' leaves much to be desired. Titles are recommended based on what I have previously watched - which is fine - but there is no way for me to indicate when I dislike (or, indeed, like) these recommendations, meaning that screen-space is occupied by irrelevant programmes when other programmes might be more to my liking. (As for being offered a whole raft of programmes under the heading "If you liked 'Saved and Remade,' I watched less than five minutes of one episode before deciding Never Again - i.e. I did NOT like "Saved and Remade" - yet months later that misstep is still being held against me.)

Any episodes I download stutter when I play them on my tablet. I've tried reinstalling the app and downloading on SD instead of HD, and still does the same thing. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5e, a high spec no slouch of a tablet, more than capable to play any other app at HD. Very irritating. Ill change my review once someone at iPlayer actually get back to me on the issue and help me resolve it!!

Latest update doesnt even load. iPlayer screen appears then just the pink wait circle. What testing are updates going through when they break the app and still released? By other comments why is it taking so long to fix an obvious problem? At least rollback to prior working version so we can use the app again

Used to like this especially for news when could access by red button on remote was great for news. But now have to sign in & have app was ok with this until saw how invasive was especially when demanded post code, that was but no for me should be optional. Too invasive too uncomfortable for me. (Miss how was with Red button on tv.)

It works. But it does annoy me when a company doesn't detail exactly what they've changed in a new version. Could've slipped in anything. User might not want some things. No: please DO "bore" me with all the bug details !

The apps was great when needed, until one day it decided it won't load at all. I've uninstalled and tried again, still same issue. Can't be my phone either as it has been factory reset recently.

Considering I pay my TV licence for this app alone, costing £157.50 a year, this app is unbelievably poor. I don't have an aerial on my TV therefore I only use the BBC iPlayer. I have come across no end of interruption to viewing. It's awful and I've decided to delete it as I've found more stable viewing platforms and saved myself £157.50 a year in TV licence as now obviously I don't need one.

Audio constantly stutters using casting to Google Home Devices, only affects BBC iPlayer. Netflix, YouTube and other streaming services work perfectly fine. Tried from multiple phones and tablets, same issue. Unwatchable, please make live broadcasts possible to stream from the chrome browser, best workaround.

I can watch btsport, amazon prime, disney+ and chrome cast them to my TV absolutely no issue, bbc iplayer..................buffers like crazy lose at least 7 minutes every 45!!!! rather annoying considering my TV licence cost more than the others!!!!

Great programs but the iPlayer all's layout is terrible. That includes the beta also. No my stuff option on the top navigation bar and no option to add programs to my list from the home screen or directly from search. Still a very bad UI needs updating again!
