AwoX Smart CONTROL allows you to discover and remotely control your energy-saving AwoX SmartLIGHT and your AwoX SmartPLUG. Fine-tune mood lighting using pre-defined favorites or themes, with one or groups of light bulbs, and optimize your energy consumption.

NEW: Added scheduling support within rooms or groups

Added support of EGLO PLUG PLUS (Bluetooth Mesh and Wi-Fi). The EGLO PLUG PLUS allows to control your Mesh devices from outside using the Cloud and from your voice assistant (Amazon Alexa & Google Home)

Creation of a Cloud account has become mandatory since the introduction of Bluetooth Mesh lightbulbs onto the market.
Creating a cloud account enables users get their settings saved onto the Cloud, and to share preferences between users within a household.
Bluetooth Mesh security protocols require a unique connection per household so members of the same home can use Mesh lightbulbs on a network that is both private and secure; an essential function considering the large scale deployment of connected lighting on the market.
Account creation takes only a few seconds, and once authenticated in the app, the user does not need to re-enter his or her login and password.

Notice: in order to manage AwoX SmartLIGHTs, AromaLIGHTs and SmartPLUGs, your phonetablet must be Bluetooth 4.0 compliant (SmartReady), and with Android 4.3+ installed. Else, you will be only able to detect and control the AwoX StriimLIGHTs BT Color.

Reviews From google play store

The BT connections to the various devices still seem to be a bit 'hit and miss' and having to wait for this to operate the lamps etc. Is annoying at best! While there was an inprovement after the last update there's still lots to be done. On the whole I like the technology ... it would be nice to be able to integrate the system into one's home LAN / WLAN to extend the range of the app & controllers . In addition, perhaps the ability to have "presence" simulations for groups would be great.

Easy to start, easy to use, plenty of space for favorite colors. A bit confused about how to allow family members to control the lights as well. Have to use the same account? I wish I could make my own animations, i.e. choose colors and durations. In general I'd like to be able to program more, like different programs for each day, dusk simulator, etc. Sometimes there's a pretty bad lag when choosing a color from palette. Also it feels that the palette is a bit off compared to reality.

Utter garbage. Nearly useless. Needs constant restarts because of connection failures. Connection takes ages, often fails completely or connects and the disconnects immediately, several times in a row. With multiple lights most of the time only one random light gets connected. The solution is to switch non-connecting lights completely off for a few seconds. Often several times. Good luck if you didn't install a physical power switch. Remote works flawlessly but can't control schedules.

Idea is good. More development needed. Looking forward to updates. Bluetooth range is either poor or issues with Bluetooth in general from the phone app. Re-establishing connection to light every time you want to change something is annoying but understand saves power etc. Light groups is good idea, working much better now after app update, one big thing missing is scheduling for light groups. Bluetooth remote works really well, fast and simple.

The colour palette, presets, timers, dawn simulator and disco mode etc. are all good. Sometimes slow to connect to each light, and a bit fiddly swiping through options and selecting what you want, so usability could be improved.

The app started asking for Location Services activation recently. Earlier turning on Bluetooth was enough to connect to the light, now it requires location access. WHY? You start to collect more data and locations from your users or what's the deal here??

Doesn't work at all. If I'm lucky, I will manage to establish a connection to the device, but the connection stays on for like 1 second, so I have to be very very lucky to manage to do any changes.. No answer from the support yet.

The bulbs always loose connection and I can't control them. Very frustrating and actually unacceptable considering I bought 12 smart bulbs (mesh spots). Interestingly it works once I use the awox app on iOS.

This app was working fine without location service enabled. For the past several days, it refuses to work if I don't have location service enabled. I now regret that I bought Awox LED light bulbs.

"Out of range" "out of range" "out of range"... U have to glue your phone to the ceiling to do something with this

These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine approximately where you are.

precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.
