Avira Home Guard is a scanner that lists all the available devices on your network. You can also press the Security Scan tab to see if you any an open ports or other vulnerabilities. It will show you if there are open ports on any devices on your network. It is a great feature as it protects each device that is on your network. At first, I did not know why I was getting an open port 445, but after researching the Internet, I learned that port 445 is vulnerable to attacks. It is the culprit for a ransomware attack. Open port 445 is a vulnerability, but you have to know how to close 445 to prevent a ransomware attack. After learning how to close the open port 445 on my Windows Firewall, I feel more confident in knowing that Avira Home Guard is protect all my devices. Avira Home Guard is a necessity in today's unsecured world. I highly recommend Avira Home Guard if you are searching for a product to protect your network and devices. It accurately finds devices connected to your WiFi, but some devices are not mentioned as the right type of device, and some names the app gives devices are confusing as well as unhelpful. Other than that, the app is great!

Avira has your smart phone covered. Avira has 5 apps for your phone. All you have to do is go to Google app store and check out the Avira apps. One of the apps I use every time I'm using the internet while I am away from home is the Avira app that scramble's what I am uploading so no body can use my information.

It instantly showed me that someone hacked into the private modum and that they were for lack of a better word shadowing my samsung device that doesn't even have Service on it. Just Wi-Fi capabilities.

It shows open ports on my modem/router and on my TV which I did not know about (which is very good to know) unfortunately it crashes every time I tried to do the speed test just before the upload test

It's well done and it works, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything that I couldn't before. It also features an internet speed test, but I'm not sure how precise it is. I only tested it twice and the [measured] speed was fluctuating a lot (4 Mbps ~ 20 Mbps) All in all, I wouldn't rate it 5 stars.

It's really a useful app, I've been using this app for a while now and I really like it, its simplicity by showing me the connected devices and their exact names is really useful, thanks to it I could know who's connected to my network and who's not. I really would like to see this app continues with support and updates from Avira, I don't want to see it terminated or canceled, please Avira!
