Android device automation made easy. Let Automate perform your daily routine automatically:
📂 Manage files on device and remote storage
☁️ Backup apps and files
✉️ Send and receive messages
📞 Control phone calls
🌐 Access online content
📷 Take pictures, record audio and video
🎛️ Configure device settings
🧩 Integrate other apps
⏰ Start tasks manually, on a schedule, when reaching a location and much more

Create your automated tasks by drawing flowcharts, simply add and connect blocks, novices can then configure them with predefined options, while experienced users may use expressions, variables and functions.

Almost every feature on your Android smartphone or tablet can be controlled using the more than 380 building blocks that’s included:

Save time by downloading complete automation “flows” that other users already made and shared through the in-app community section:

Perform recurring tasks based on the time of day, your location (geofencing), physical activity, events in your calendar, app currently open, connected Wi-Fi network, remaining battery, and hundreds of other conditions and triggers.

Not everything needs to be automatic, manually start complex tasks by clicking home screen widgets & shortcuts, Quick Settings tiles, notifications, media buttons on your Bluetooth headset, volume & other hardware buttons, by scanning NFC tags and more.

Delete, copy, move and rename files on your device, SD card and external USB drive. Extract and compress zip archives. Process text files, CSV, XML and other documents.

Backup your apps and files to removable SD card and remote storage.

Upload and download files stored on Google Drive, FTP server, and online when accessible through HTTP.

Send SMS, MMS, e-mail, Gmail, and other data through the built-in cloud messaging service. Manage incoming phone calls, perform call screening.

Quickly take photos using the camera, take screenshots, and record audio or video. Bulk process images, crop, scale and rotate them then save as JPEG or PNG. Read text in images using OCR. Generate QR codes.

Change most system settings, adjust audio volume, lower screen brightness, control Do Not Disturb, switch mobile network (3G/4G/5G), toggle Wi-Fi, tethering, airplane mode, power save mode and much more.

Easily integrate apps supporting the Locale/Tasker plug-in API. Otherwise, use every Android capability to do so, start app activities & services, send & receive broadcasts, access content providers, or as a last resort, screen scraping and simulated user inputs.

Indispensable for me for years now. I could realize every automation I needed, and I only scratched the surface of all what is possible. I would love to be able to add comments to the flow. For example as floating texts. I would also like to move several blocks at once when marked.

Best app ever. Literally anything is possible with this. Can automate everything, including those "afk" games that require constant user attention for some reason (probably for the ads). Speaking of ads, automate has little to no ads.

It's a great evolution on Tasker, much better I think.

Great app! Please add some way of safely storing a password. You say never to store a password in the flow, but I can't access a generic account's password, so I have no option. Also, I'd love you to add an SSH block. Would be great for shutting down a PC. I use Wake on LAN to turn it on but haven't found an easy way to turn it off.

Automate is a good way to automate tasks with various features. It takes just about every feature that third-party apps can access and breaks them up into blocks that the user can arrange, configure, and connect in a flowchart format. Flows that you build in Automate can even replace other apps, giving you more control over your data. The learning curve behind Automate depends on what you intend to do with it.

Fantastic if you want to customise the way your phone works. Easy to programme once you get used to how it works via blocks in flow charts. Bought the unlimited blocks version, very cheap and find the app indispensable. The free version gives you 30 running blocks, probably enough for most users. Although once you start creating with it you find more and more uses. It's very addictive and satisfyingly fun to use. Plenty of utilities, help and examples via a huge user community.

I bought Tasker to automate disabling/enabling the Airplane mode. But despite a shitload of settings, added apps and ADB settings, Tasker would not do this as it turns out it needs a rooted device. So I turned to Automate. Out of the box, it did the requested task. If you need extra apps for a task, it will ask and install them. Even in the free version. Well done.

Amazing! I was able to make "Battery saver" Android setting turn on automatically when charger got unplugged! It only required the one time(until app removal, or cache clearing?) Usb debbugging command: "adb shell pm grant com.llamalab.automate android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS" so that "global" setting "low_power" could be set to "1" by my flow in Automate and is seen in Automate's settings as "modify secure system settings". My phone is not rooted. Praise be the dev(s) of this cool app!

This app is a dream come true, it's honestly so amazing and also very fun to use. Really wish it was a thing on desktop as well, but having it on phone is already good enough for me. Thanks for making this.

Life-changing however I am missing some some features that would lift this app to greatsness: 1. Flow search 🔎 (To speed up navigation) 2. Smarter Block movement (I end up spending a lot of time moving blocks when adding new features) 3. Easier way to manager flow triggers/exit conditions 4. GitHub like collaboration 5. Flow quick setting tiles 6. Cross-device sync of flows I work on multiples devices
