With the authentication.gov.pt application, citizens can activate the Digital Mobile Key (CMD) with a video-selfie and validating their citizen card. In this application, you can also generate a temporary security code, or use biometric validation from your mobile phone, as an alternative to the SMS code, to authenticate yourself with CMD in public or private portals. It also has a service for managing access authorizations to your data and signing documents. For more information, you can consult the information available on the website authenticcao.gov.pt.
