The Tax Agency of the Balearic Islands (ATIB) makes available to citizens the application "ATIB - Tax Agency of the Balearic Islands" for smart mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) that offers the possibility of queries and procedures before the ATIB, with or without user identification, in an agile and simple way. Through the application, without the need for identification, you can select the language, make inquiries through the form provided for this purpose, see the ATIB offices and request an appointment, as well as pay taxes and debts with income document with the introduction of certain data (Issuer, Reference, Identification and Amount) that appear in the document or scanning the bar code, for which the application requires permission to access the camera of the device. In the "Offices" service, in the case of choosing the option of how to get there, the map application of the mobile device will open, indicating the route from its location. User identification can be done by entering the DNI / NIF and taxpayer code (or password) or through the Cl @ ve system (electronic identity for public administrations). Also, once identified for the first time, the following accesses are allowed to be performed biometrically (by fingerprint or facial recognition). In this version of the application, once identified, the options are as follows: - Consultation of debts paid from 1 January 2017 and obtain proof of payment. - Consultation of outstanding debts and, if applicable, proceed with their payment. - Consultation of direct debit and direct debit taxes, and may process both the modification of the direct debit account for direct debit taxes or request the direct debit of direct debit taxes. - User information in the personal area with the possibility of modifying the data. - Possibility to activate the reception of notices or communications by sms and / or mail or through the same application. With regard to information on debts paid and outstanding, it should be borne in mind that the declarations-settlements or self-assessments of regional taxes paid or the income documents corresponding to taxes or regional debts paid in a voluntary period are not shown. The online payment of taxes and debts can be made by bank card (regardless of the issuing entity) or by electronic banking of the collaborating entities. Once the payment has been made, if the bank does not automatically redirect the user to the application, the "Return / Continue" button that appears on the institution's payment gateway must be pressed to obtain proof or proof of payment. There is also a section in the application with a privacy notice and the corresponding protection of personal data is ensured, so that the data will be used exclusively for the purpose of complying with the rights and obligations of tax or related to the collection of tax debts and other non-tax public law revenues and will not be assigned to third parties, except in the cases provided by law.
