App UPC

The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya-BarcelonaTech (UPC) is a public institution of research and higher education in the fields of engineering, architecture, sciences and technology. It is one of the highest-ranked European universities in the main international rankings in these fields. Every year, more than 6,000 bachelor’s and master’s students and more than 500 doctoral students graduate.

Through the App UPC, which integrates the previous UPC Estudiants app, the UPC offers information and practical resources for the day-to-day life of its students, teaching staff and administrative and service staff. The app sends notifications tailored to the user’s profile and relationship with the institution on topics of interest, including cancellations and changes to class timetables, and provides access to information on the University’s current affairs. It also allows you to view maps of the campuses and to check the opening hours, distance and occupancy of UPC libraries at the click of a button.

This new version incorporates authenticated and tailor-made services according to the user’s profile. For students, it incorporates the UPC card and provides links to services and websites, allows marks and timetables to be consulted and gives other information of interest to students, such as information on grants. It also allows you to set up alerts, set a given language and add shortcuts to the main page. For teaching staff and administrative and service staff, the App UPC recognises the user’s profile and integrates, for the first time, their UPC identity through the new digital card. The new card in the App UPC will also gradually incorporate new features.
