....my fav eq app.....it affects the signal chain coming directly out of the drivers.....this way any and all sound is filtered regardless of what is generating it.....a lot of eq apps only intercept the audio of certain sources.....this one is universal.....and it supports custom presets! =D ....

I used it since froyo was new, and it still works perfectly. To those who wonder why increasing the gain on one band results in an overall reduction in volume, this is the nature of digital EQ's. If digital EQ's had actual gain the result would be digital clipping later in the signal path, and that sounds unbelievably awful, much worse than analog clipping. I do wish ot had more bands, but the only one that I found was full of spyware.

... And I am absolutely blown away! I have been using Power Amp for some time now, which has it's own EQ, but I also use Spotify a lot, and it's audio quality was lacking in comparison. As soon as I installed AnEQ and listened to my Spotify offline stuff it has boosted the quality and volume of the audio so well that I'm gobsmacked! WELL DONE TO THE DEVELOPER! Try it and see for yourself :-)

Bought this then got ics and its stopped. Contacted owner only to be told I must have a HTC cos its fine on his gs2. Sad excuse really. DON'T buy if you have HTC running ics as it won't work and no update to sort cos his is fine. Very poor

The paid version actually has a few bugs that weren't present in the free version: 1. In paid, the preset list doesn't go away when you select a preset. You have to hit the back button to make it go away. In the free version, the list got out of your way as soon as you selected a preset. 2. Sometimes the present list stays on the desktop even when AnEq isn't running. I had to reboot the phone to make it go away. This never happened in the free version 3. When re-opening the AnEq interface, it does not display the name of the currently selected preset, nor is it highlighted in the preset list. This works in the free version. So I recommend sticking with the free version, even though the free version stopped working for me out of the blue one day. Apart from that it works quite well, though it is very difficult to hit the button that turns the eq service on and off. It usually takes me 8-10 stabs to finally get it to work.

The dev guys seem to get things a little more right than the other players. This is why I have no reservations about supporting them. Well done again!

As an audiophile of 25+ years and using equalizers all that time, this is the first equalizer that has the music sound worse when I use it. I'm beginning to question if the 5 bands are altering the frequencies stated. Most significantly, I get a huge volume drop when I *increase* the levels of the frequencies.

Great app.. Laggy on the response on the Galaxy note 2 but overall sounds rich.. And if used moderately it's lovely.. Developers please give us a 10 band eq also..

This best EQ I've seen on GP. A great app yes yet it can be amazing. I found the frequency channel volume hard to match. It would be great if each channels frequency volume number would highlight or light up as you got to it along with a vibration. It's way too sensitive. Also it would be nice to have a circut that emphasizes the lower audio frequencies, generally by attenuating higher audio frequencies, known as bass boost. Finally to make this app amazing...a waveform of the output that can be adjusted.
