Reviews From google play store

I DO NOT LIKE THE LATEST UPDATE! I can no longer find a way to do "continuous read". I can only read a book by selecting a max of one paragraph at a time. If they still have this function, but hid it, please give us a clue in the "Help" section. Also, the shortcut of hitting the volume buttons to turn on and off isn't working on my LG G8 Thin. Will be looking for another app to use on Play Store.

This version is an absolute retard! You do not touch anywhere close to the edit box otherwise, it takes you back to the beginning of the editing field when you have already typed something on the screen!! How can this make sense? On Twitter, on phone, and others, once you start typing, you must not place your finger close to the edit field; because it will take you to the beginning of the field, thereby disarranging what's typed. I literally don't enjoy typing these days with TalkBack, for this.

Pretty good, but some of the features are for the blind, and people with other impairments, but if you had asked the user while creating a Google account if he's blind or not, these extra features wouldn't have been too annoying. The next terrible feature is the Talkback, man if this thing is enabled, it gets very hard for disabling it...

I really like it, its a nice app and really useful for users as it provides shortcut for some actions like screenshots, power, etc. thus it makes the navigation more easier. I just don't like the icons because its too big. Please Google improve the icons, make it a little smaller or maybe create an appealing design

Microphone/ speech recognition is very slow. Does not record easily evev when I speak slowly. It will pick up voices from my local radio program very quickly , but very slowly, halting often when I* speak. I am a Speech coach and speak Englisk clearly, no accent

The previos version of TalkBack was spporting a very useful handy gesture - 'Single / double tap on the sides of the device' which I use for navigation. This has been removed from the current version, because of which I am not able to use the device easily as I was doing last week. Also, I use Lenovo K9 Note which does not support gestures that use finger prints. I use finger print to lock/unlock my device. I request you to bring back the missing features immediately.

I'm deaf. And I had a vibration app that I could control the vibrations and the strength of the vibrate. I would never miss a call or text. And then Google had to f@#k that up by the new sms permission policy. Deaf people (I said deaf, not hard of hearing.) cannot use the telephone on account that they can't HEAR! All of the vibrating apps that needed permission to access the sms were given the shaft. Since you're Google and Android is your child, add the damn option to adjust and add more beats

I was typing to someone and out of nowhere the screen started clicking off and on. I have lost my typing, and now my screen is in a locked landscape view. I always view in a locked portrait. I can't seem to change it, nor can I find assessibility in settings. This phone has more issues wrong with it everytime I update, I should have left it alone, it was fine before. I would have given this 0 stars, but zero is not offered.

this is the worst update. how is the user supposed to switch between profiles (general, vibrate, silent). earlier the volume button was helpful in doing so. but after the update that option is not there. volume buttons r able to control only the music (media) volume which is not helpful at all when compared to previous versions option.

🚩🚩BEWARE! 🚩🚩TalkBack function, which I liked, set off the dreaded⚠ "screen overlay error"⚠ for ALL apps on my device requiring permissions - including contacts, camera, pretty much shutting everything down, and ceasing to function. No workaround. It took me weeks in near tears to find the culprit.
