Although I did not have any issues installing or getting it to connect to the battery monitor, I sure feel that the app requests way too many permissions. Why would it need to access my media files, camera, and location just to give me a voltage reading. Also I really dislike that there is no way of closing the app and it continually operates in background draining my phone battery unless I go in my system and FORCE CLOSE it. Very SKETCHY! :-(

Needs battery type selection This app accompanies the vendor's battery voltage sensor. It works well with good Bluetooth range and accuracy. The app is good except it needs a way to select battery type. State Of Charge voltage varies with battery type, construction, and chemistry. Ideally there should be presets for common batteries plus a "custom" selection allowing the user to input the voltage to State Of Charge relationship at each x10 % level.

Warning! Application contains malware. Do not download this app. I returned the battery monitor to Amazon and will be going with a hard wired monitor vs bluetooth. I used "Sophos Intercept X for mobile" to detect the detail of this applications intentions; the description on the play store only gives you a brief description into what the app has access to but once scanned, Sophos reveals a lot more invasive access.

While it's easy to use, I'd like something that does a "load test". Oddly enough this app doesn't stop running when closed out, it sits in the notification section only to be stopped in my system settings to force stop.

Not working on Android 11, app can't locate Ancel battery monitor via Bluetooth. App requires an update, last update is from Jun 03 2019.
