Good app. Does what it says. I'd prefer if I could save my tracking numbers in the app so I didn't have to enter them everytime I go into it.

An post send text messages with reference and tracking number to pay tax but when you key in the numbers to pay they never match or work so you can't pay the charges . Rubbish system

Since latest update unable to open app on my Honor view 20 and my wife's Samsung galaxy s10,both running Android 10, screen pops up for a second,then disappears.22/7/2010.

Sending parcel internationally and the tracking updates stop when parcel leaves Ireland. Even when I enter the new international tracking number for the parcel in app, it reverts to Irish number and still displays last update as "Your delivery has been received in London Heathrow" and nothing else, for days. Only when I go to destination country postal tracking, I can see rest of parcel journey. Useless. More info available on An Post website tracking option than visible in app.

Track and trace does not work even though it is possible to track using the same number on an post website. Also, tracking functionality is just bare minimum compared to other similar applications. It has no advantages over website. For example it would have been nice if I could save some tracking numbers with meaningful descriptions and later get notified when their status changes.

An Post tracking numbers aren't the easiest to type, so it would be useful if the app remembered the last, say 5, numbers you tracked. This would allow easier use by selecting the number from your "recently searched" list. Typing it in full every time is not practical. Maybe also allow the camera to input tracking number from post office receipt?

So two years on and I wanted to update my review. All of the features I use work well so I have upped my score to 4 stars. The reason I have not gone for 5 is that I would like to see the tracking part improved by providing automatic notifications when there is new info on tracking status instead of having to manually refresh every so often which is very clunky. At the moment I leave the app open at the submit screen until the parcel arrives so at least I don't have to go hunting for emails every time and copy and paste.

Most Useless Tracking App and Online Syncing System I have Ever Used ! I can track international post until An Post receives it into Ireland, then it just simply remains static. No postal movements are logged to their system until it magically arrives at your door. Then a few hours later their system says post delivered. Really, An Post, your online systems are woefully bad. Embarrassing to be honest.
