I'm usually very happy with this app. Recently, there was an issue with the garage door opener first being disconnected from the app. Then, I uninstalled the app and re-installed it. I then couldn't sign in to the app as I got a notification "service is unavailable right now, please try again in a moment". The developer informed me there was an issue created while performing a server maintenance. Glad they fixed it! For this reason, I recommend having a local backup option to operate this. For instance, the wireless remote/keypad/Z-wave, etc.

This app works sometimes but it seems it has no idea of the current state of the garage door. If the door is opened by a remote or the switch on the wall, the app seems to never update. It will show a status of door closed when it's actually open or vise versa. Additional logic and feedback speed are needed to improve the usefulness and trustworthiness of this app.

I like it when it works, even though it's a bit slow in responding. It has some nice features, but it is just not reliable enough for a higher rating. Today, it actually failed in a way that was a security risk, by opening the door and recording the event history as failing to close the door based on a rule to close it if left open for an hour, when the door had already been closed manually an hour before. That is a serious problem! Sensor battery & wifi signals are strong. Software is bad!

11/07/21 *new version 5.08 does the same thing. Horrible. App just sits there when I hold to open doors and does not do anything. Any kind of alerts come 30 - 40 minutes afterwards. Plenty of signal strength in the garage. My security cameras run off the same wireless connection and some are farther away than the door opener, no problems logging in and watching them in HD. I got tired of chamberlains bull, and I tried this company. It looks like this one is going back due to a bad app support.

Easy APP to use. Sometimes there are delays in connecting over the cell network, but not a big issue. I would like to get notifications WHEN the door is opened and closed, and not have to open the APP to make sure the door is closed. There may be a setting to do that in the APP, but I'm not finding it, even though I have it set for full notifications in my phone's settings. I even have everything enabled under 'Manage Notifications', but still, no push to notify when it's opened or closed. Overall, a good APP. No pesky ADs.

I just finish installing this in my garage and love it...installing was a breeze,,i have a dual detached garage 30 feet from house but the velop mesh network does a nice job with wifi coverage,,the integration with Google home assistance is great but can be better, why do i need a pin to close garage,,i understand the need of a pin to open it but not to close it....and the app very nice ,easy to send an invite to family members.😁

Purchased a house with a Genie garage door. Im unable to register the garage door opener, because it was previously registered with the old owner. When attempting to call support, hold times are 2 hours! I left my number for a call back and its been about 3 hours without hearing anything. I also sent an email and havent gotten a response.

This ap is perfect for me. I like that the garage door beeps and gives someone near the garage notification something is about to happen. I don't carry a garage door opener and this is a great ap to use in my truck or motorcycle. But it isn't a long delay and doesn't really bother me. I strongly recommend this function.

Everything worked fine until update..The door app times out everytime I close the garage..I have reconfigure everything several times and still same results..Door sensor always says weak signal when the device are 7ft apart..I have ran several test and the only thing I can see is that the app is not communicating with the device. Very disappointed in this device.

I just installed two Model 7155-TKV door openers and neither will connect to Wi-Fi. On both openers, I am able to get to I believe is the last step by entering my p/w for my Wi-Fi but it stops there and the blue light stays blue. It is suppose to turn green and will not connect. What am I doing wrong?
