Farid al-Din Abu Hamid Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr Ibrahim ibn Ishaq Attar Kadkani of Neyshabur, known as Attar of Neyshabur (born 540 in Kadkan - d. 618 AH in Shadiakh of Neyshabur) is one of the mystics and poets of Iranian descent.
He was born in Kadkan in 540 AH, equal to 1146 AD.
