Association Intercommunale de Défense de l’Environnement. AIDE a été créé en 1995 suite au projet de carrière-usine de gypse envisagé au col des Sagnes, limitrophe des deux communes de Bayons et Turriers. Si celui-ci venait à se réaliser s’en suivraient des conséquences désastreuses pour l’environnement (eau, flore, paysage etc…). De plus sur ce terroir sont produits des élevages de qualité (veaux, agneaux, lait,) ; un centre de réadaptation fonctionnelle (environ 70 salariés avec risque concernant l’agrément du ministère de la santé) ; un nombre non négligeable de locations saisonnières, un hôtel, restaurants etc…, ainsi que des circuits de randonnées nécessitant un environnement vierge de toute pollution .
