■ Description
The Advanced Task Manager can list all the running tasks on your phone and it can help you stop any of the tasks easily and quickly. It is also a task management tool which can manage all the installed apps on your phone.

The task management mechanism of android system has been changed after the release of the version 2.2 of the android system. Task killers cannot kill the services and notifications on your phone.

By use of the Advanced Task Manager, you can thoroughly stop tasks in the following steps:
1) long press the task that you want to stop
2) chose the “force stop” option
3) press the the “force stop” button on the application info system panel

If you want to manage running services, click menu->service, then it will open the system service panel where you can stop running services.

**Please note that installing other task manager or task killer tools may make your phone unstable or cause potential conflict.**

Q: Why do apps restart again after killing?
A: Some apps are restarted by system events. Apps cannot be prevented from restarting because of system limitation. We suggest you to enable auto kill in settings, and it will kill tasks on every screen off. It will help to save battery life and release memory for the phone.

Q: How can I add apps to the ignore list?
A: You can long press the task that you want to ignore, and then you will get a poped up context menu, click "Ignore". The ignored apps will not be shown in the task list, and will never be killed. You can manage the ignored apps in settings.

Q: How can I manage startup apps?
There is "Startup Kill" in settings. It can help you to kill tasks when system starts up.

Reviews From google play store

The app honestly feels way too bloated for a task manager. It's full of ads and "share to Facebook" type stuff. Why would my Facebook friends want to know I used a task manager? I can stand banner ads at the bottom, the devs gotta make some money, but video ads are really intrusive and kinda just make my performance issues worse when I need this app most.

It hardly ever shows the apps that are running. Every once in awhile, it shows them and, it works. However not very often. I'm going to look elsewhere

When this app starts, it instructs the user to enable apps usage permissions in the Android settings app. But on Android 9, when this app is selected in that settings app, the user is informed that no permissions are needed, and there is no override provision for adding permissions. Classic Catch-22.

The widget no longer works so after years of using this app im uninstalling and switching.

A useful app with a great set of features

I used this application for around 9 years, over multiple phones and two different mobile providers, always making sure it was one of the first applications I would install on a new phone. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked like it used to for a while now. It seems that it no longer actually closes or stops a majority of the apps you select. Based on my experience, I feel this application is no longer of any use at all, especially if you are trying to clear RAM usage, extend battery life, etc.

It seems okay, I guess. But it is saturated with ads. A Task Manager Application should be both free & Ad-free, without any hassle or unnecessary expense. Sometimes I cannot even tell for sure if this Application is working. Full screen ads within are intrusive and obstructive.

What happened? While it didn't work great, this task killer always did SOMETHING when I opened it and hit the kill button. I upgraded phones from the Galaxy S8 to the S10, which shouldn't have made a huge difference, and now there are no apps listed when I open it. There was an update to the app shortly after I upgraded my phone, sooo what happened?

I work in an office. I use advanced task manager in my two personal devices. I'm absolutely angry that the ads on this app just blurt out in the full volume videos without warning and without permission. I don't mind that there are silent ads and banners, but full volume videos being played is unacceptable. The developer doesn't respect people's homes workplaces or serenity. Stick to quiet printed ads. Not for offices churches sleeping children or the workplace. GARBAGE!

Killed background apps on old Sony Xperia Z5, but I'm pretty sure it cannot kill apps on my new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with Android 8.1, so have to uninstall. No updates since March 2019. Maybe the developer retired. OLD: Better than even Advanced Task Killer. Now that's saying something. I've not used a better task killer & very configurable

requires following permissions on your android device.

view network connections
Allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

retrieve running apps
Allows the app to retrieve information about currently and recently running tasks. This may allow the app to discover information about which applications are used on the device.

full network access
Allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

close other apps
Allows the app to end background processes of other apps. This may cause other apps to stop running.

read Usage data
Provides access to device usage history and statistics. Usage data is aggregated into time intervals: days, weeks, months, and years.

run at startup
Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the app to slow down the overall phone by always running.

close other apps
Allows the app to end background processes of other apps. This may cause other apps to stop running.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

receive data from Internet
Allows apps to accept cloud to device messages sent by the app's service. Using this service will incur data usage. Malicious apps could cause excess data usage.
