Privacy

In addition to standard permissions required to ensure your mobile device is secured at all times, Active Shield also requests the following permissions

1. Location - to report the location to your administrator when a threat occurs on the device.
2. Wake Lock- the ability to prevent your device from sleeping to execute detections in the background
3. Device administration permission (`android.permission.BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN`) - This app uses the Device Administrator permission. This permission allows your enterprise to encrypt your device storage. This behavior is controlled by your enterprise administrators.
4. Boot completion - This allows the app to start scanning and protecting your device upon reboot.
