I can't believe I'm saying this..But this is the first Google-Designed product that I am NOT giving a 5-Star rating.. Maybe I just don't know how to properly use the Blocks in order get the most out of them.But they seem mostly useless to me. Almost all of the actions I can assign to a block can be accessed just as easily with my built in phone features.So I don't understand the usefulness to this app. Oh well. It's the 1 and only Google app that I don't absolutely love. Stay strong, Google..💙

Please make blocks synchronizable within a google account. Also, I'm trying to use my old phone as a control panel with action blocks, so it would be more user friendly to not show assistant window at all. Especially now when we have vibration as a feedback. UPD: waiting for material you look for widgets. It would be great to be able to sign a shortcut to a file or image in G.Photos

It works, but it takes time to open Google assistant and process the action there. There is also a limited amount of actions you can use, and insufficient action block icons. Easy to use the app, and the app itself performs well, which is expected of a Google app.

Tried to use this to cut down on clickable steps to dim my lights now that device controls have been idiotically moved. The Google assistant somehow became incompetent when testing an action block for any of my common requests. Doubly disappointed with Google.

It works in theory. However there is one glaring bug. After setting up the widgets on your home screen, if you come back in a couple of hours and click on the widgets, nothing happens. If you open the action blocks app and then click on the widgets, they start working again. Which defeats the whole purpose of this app.

Subpar app and pretty useless!!! - Commands are executed very very slow. - Puts the phone/tablet screen on to the Google assistant, and WORSE, leaves the screen on the Google assistant so it is very bright and distracting and annoying. - Very time consuming to setup with little payoff. - Can't folder widgets so it is a home screen real estate pig. - Can't transfer setup to other devices - No backup option. Only reason it gets a star is because it is free.

This app is directly reliant on Google Assistant, hence it's requirement to launch Google Assistant to function. Of problems with this so not responding/running auto-tasks, check that it is allowed to run in the background and not being killed by power/optimization settings. Would be better with Assistant not being shown during actions. Somewhat limited, but has interesting integration with other products/services.

Great for switching my lights on and off with use of a widget. Would be better if the assistant didn't pop up and cover the bottom half of the screen, an option for "silent" commands would be a nice feature

Counter intuitive for most ppl. The assistant appearing every time you run an action block is very unecessary and defeats the purpose of a "quick action" you want with a button. Giving it four stars bc it does what it says, I just think it should be more polished.

Good. But still lot to achive. 1. Should allow clean and silent execution. For Smart Home dashboard, we don't need post execution screen. 2. Multiple buttons widget needed. Try to facilitate Smart Home Dashboard.
