The app is terrible for viewing episodes! Your better off looking for the full episodes on YouTube or some other venue.

I like the TV app that gives option to watch latest news videos, but this android app doesn't work same way! Uninstalling it. Annoying!

Impossible to scroll through any story without herky, jerky, antagonizing delays. The stories primary, enticing heading photos all disappear the moment you open a news story to be replaced by the same, repetitious, trashy site advertisement photo. Waste my precious time.

Now there are 3 or more audio advertisements playing nearly constantly over top each other! I love the app but these audio advertisements are not cool. That's why you're getting only 1 star!

Not user friendly, even when you just want to scroll or view clips, and not accessible unless you pay for your TV, though you can access free on regular TV. I'm disappointed. I expected more from ABC, though they have become more generic and seemingly lazy over the years, so maybe not so surprised. They seem to just repeat the stories of the week. No true investigative or revealing news.

This app would be better if there was a way to use it with my chromecast, as I don't watch regularly tv at all. If there was a way to chromecast this app I'd give it 5 stars instead of the 3.

The app has two serious issues. First, it autoplays content and there is no way to disable this horrible setting. Picture me being in a nice silent doctor's office trying to pass the time by catching up on world events. Suddenly my phone starts blaring out audio to everyone in the room because the app started autoplaying something. Turn that off! No one wants automatically playing sound! Second, the app ignores my phone's settings about screen rotation and rotates whether I want it to or not. Phones let you lock their rotation for a reason. This is the ONLY app I've ever seen that ignores the phone's settings and always allows rotation. Android and Google should ban this app from their store until these basic yet serious issues are fixed.

5 ⭐ 1 ⭐ = 3 ⭐ App itself, 1 star. The sharing icon has just disappeared. Have they changed it to an app you can't share from or is it just me? Videos have always had issues but I'm a reader so that doesn't bother me. But reading a great story and not being able to share it does. Papers like NYTimes, Washington Post have great apps, surely Disney can do better than this app. Now for their content I give 5 stars, it's not bias like so many others are. Toodalo ABC.

i think they have news in between the neverending Target ads. I'm deleting this app. Sorry abc news too little news and too much advertising. P.S. That Target song made me mute the app so when a news article did come on i missed the first few words due too me raising the volume to hear your app again. Yes that Target song is that annoying and I work in the Hospitality industry.

Half the point of a news app is to be able to share the news. Doesn't ABC want more people reading their articles? I genuinely don't understand why this issue has gone on for this long. You can share the stories from the notification dropdown, but not when viewing the article itself, so this obviously isn't a feature that was removed on purpose. Edit: The share button is back.
