The Holy Rosary

Start by making the sign of the Cross:

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O God come to my aid.
O Lord, make haste to help me.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

(Optional)

Then recite:

1. Creed;

2. Our Father;

3. Hail Mary for the virtues of Faith;

4. Hail Mary for the virtues of Hope;

5. Hail Mary for the virtues of Charity;

6. Glory Be.

The Rosary is divided into four parts, each having five mysteries.
While meditating on the Mysteries, recite:

1 "Our Father", 10 "Hail Mary's", 1 "Glory Be"

for each Mystery.

After each Mystery the "Fatima Prayer" is said.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fire of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.

All together this makes up one decade.

After the completion of the five mysteries (five decades), the "Hail Holy Queen" is said.

At the end of the Rosary, the Loreto Litany (optional) or some other Marian prayer is recited
and the prayers for the Pope's intentions:

Our Father

Hail Mary

Glory Be
