The app (or, at least, the IDEA of the app) is one of the best things ever and is practically justifies a smartphone all by itself. (I was an early devotee of this app before it became subscription-based. I don't like or want the subscription model, but the standalone app is wonderful.) The only downside seems to be compatibility issues with different music players and platforms on Android. (Not really the developer's fault, since Google keeps changing what's available and how things function.)

I've used this app only twice and both times it's crashed. The first time I was running my 10k runner app at the same time so I could do the intervals, but second time just used this on its own. When it does work, it's great! I like the story and the achievements, just wish I could get through a full session without it crashing.

I'm honestly think this app is great, but there is one huge problem. I did the 5k app before and thought it was also cool, also had a subscription. Problem is, I had a monthly subscription. So everytime the paying was done, I had to download 5k again and sync it. So now I've ended the subscription and made a new account, to pay directly on zombies run. As soon as I made a new account, ALL of my progress was lost. I'm honestly kinda disappointed, I'm gonna stop using the app. Please fix that.

I love this app!! It's helped me enjoy my runs even more and helped me progress my running in general! The narrations are very well done and collecting supplies to build your base with adds some extra fun to your run! I was blown away by how much I enjoyed it and I'm only on my third mission. I love zombie movies/books and when I saw I could make my runs zombiefied I jumped at it! I'd highly recommend it!

I would recommend the subscription to new runners trying to progress faster, but once you've run through every mission in the main story and the new adventures, there's really no reason to continue paying for the subscription. Story wise, there are some major plot holes and seemingly forgotten storylines. In my opinion, the writing quality has gone drastically downhill in the later seasons after season 3. It's a shame to see such an interesting story with good characters turn into what it is now

It's a great way to add some extra interest and motivation to my runs. I did find myself holding back a little in anticipation of the next chase, which actually made my overall pace slower, but having consciously chosen not to do that - meaning if the zombies turn up when I don't have the puff, I won't even try to speed up - it's going great and really improving my running.

I have never been more motivated to run. This app is the best thing I have ever downloaded! And the update!!!! It now keeps track of where I am on GSP, and the distance I run is now 10X more accurate. This is awesome. Thank you guys so much for creating this app and putting a lot of time and effort into it. Definitely a great way to keep zombie lovers (like myself) to carry on exercising

This app is a great way to keep me interested in my workouts! Definitely makes you look forward to your next mission, and I love that it will run with both my Spotify and my Samsung Health app! I haven't started yet, but I am sure the added benefit of picking up supplies on your runs to build your virtual base camp up will also become a big motivator!

I've been using this app solidly for over 2 years. it keeps me focused and engaged while I'm running, and the characters are written so well that when they are "in peril" it really makes me want to actually work harder, in the hopes that it will help.

Love the app and it motivates me alot, but unlocking one episode a week makes it unusable and makes consistency impossible. If an app get alot of attention, make the app fun for free, you could easily ask ads to unlock episodes. People can pay to remove ads and unlock episodes. To you it may be a cup of coffee a week for a subscription, but in other countries its more than a netflix subscription, this is disappointing to say the least.
