  1. M. Evans-avatar

Love this app! Currently using it for guitar. Lessons are easy to follow. Everything is broken down to the simplest level. I really like that it has actual songs that you can learn to play (and not just Marry had a little lamb lol or something like that). Music is meant to be felt, if you can connect with what you are learning to play (or playing) it becomes more enjoyable all the way around!

  2. Joshua Romer-avatar

There's too many ads recommending premium. I mean "I know I'm not using premium, stop shoving it in my face!" Also the 10 minutes per day, not enough time to actually learn. Then there's the mic. It leaves no tolerance for freestyle playing/singing, which I enjoy doing, and it's slow to pick up sound, so even when I'm right on beat I'm late.

  3. smoothy-avatar

It's really great to learn how to play ukulele and guitar for the first time. The only thing that bugs me is that it gets harder quicker than I expected. Maybe it I who cant play guitar as fast but... oh well. It helps you with almost every thing such as tuning. And if you have a guitar whom goes out off tune everytime, it will get easier to tune it without help. Kinda cool

  4. LastTimeLord 006-avatar

    LastTimeLord 006

Its helping me out a lot, my only problem is that sometimes it doesn't realize that I played a string without a fret or it messes up when I play the third fret. It's not user error either because I'll play a string on the 3rd fret and it will realize I played it, but when I play another string on the third fret (that sounds exactly the same) it says I get it wrong. That's the only problem, if they fix that it will be perfect.

  5. Drew Paik-avatar

Incredibly frustrating. The app is constantly popping up comments that actually block the instructions, and the timing of when you play the notes on the screen are just wrong, which causes the lesson to pause - breaking any kind of rhythm you might have. You also need to prop up your phone to keep it visible, otherwise you'll strain your neck.

  6. Matthew Oliphant-avatar

Price & lessons from a beginner's point of view. App looks good, but the free lessons per day isn't long enough to get hooked. Can't replay pass lessons to practice what you have learned. $19.99 per month is high for anyone looking to start. I would much rather pay for a lesson package or one time payment for access to as many lesson I completed with the ability go back to practice. I will keep playing free lessons until a better or cheaper app. Hope you lower you price.

  7. William Strode-avatar

Beyond frustrating, I used this to try and learn guitar, does not pick up notes that you are playing when you play them correctly and there for you can not progress, very poor design. I used this app on my phone and some people said that might be the issue, but if that's the case dont release it as a mobile app? Would not reccomend at all.

  8. Kitsch Confidant-avatar

    Kitsch Confidant

Really enjoying everything about this app so far, made a massive difference to my guitar playing in only two weeks. I'm a complete novice and this app has made it fun to learn and to keep coming back to, day after day. Unlike two other app guitar learning (big names) which left me floundering days into them. If you're a beginner like me then worth considering the upgrade too, hey you might even improve your singing as well as your guitar playing.

  9. Rosalind Aylmore-avatar

    Rosalind Aylmore

I think it really helps people that are new to play an instrument. I am learing to play the guitar and it is not rushing me to learn things like notes strate away and is teaching me important things like how to tune it and use the strings before actually teaching me how to play. All this has been very useful and I would recommend the app if you are new to an instrument.

  10. Tracey Walsh-avatar

Just started using this app as an absolute beginner and it is brilliant. I signed up for the premium subscription though because I didn't get enough from the free lesson of the day. I have also seen someone commenting on it not picking up the sound when you play a chord, I have a Samsung S20+ and it was missing some of my chords, it recommended I use my headphones and since I used them it picks up on every note perfectly so I would recommend using headphones.

  11. Austin C-avatar

App does not reliably hear when the strings are plucked. Calibrated the mic on my phone 6 times. All strings are in tune according to the app. App volume is mid range, same as was was for calibration. Playing an acoustic guitar less than 6 inches from the mic. You only get so many "free lessons" per day and those lessons are riddled with ads for you to buy the premium version.

  12. Nerptater the mega Dweeb-avatar

    Nerptater the mega Dweeb

I love the entire idea, but if you added a few more instruments you would have a ton more people downloading. I play banjo and I was disappointed that you didn't have banjo as an option. I do understand that you may not have the time, money or what ever else it may take to make an app like this, but give this comment some consideration and maybe add a few more instruments. Keep up the amazing work you are doing.

  13. Tioma Ash-avatar

Amazing app. I've gone from knowing only the basics about guitar to feeling confident switching between different chords easily in 3 days! This app has a well laid-out progression structure divided into branches depending on what you want to focus on. This means I could advance straight down the chord branch without being forced to sit through melody and music theory that I already know. Overall this is a great app, and I am very happy with my decision to have purchased premium.

  14. Vaeh J-avatar

This game is a great idea and pretty fun until you get to practice. I was hitting all the notes and I wasnt absolutely perfect but it counted me wrong even when I did hit the right notes. The app said I was hitting different strings when I was doing what it was asking. This did ruin my experience with the app, but it wasnt terrible.

  15. River Beukes-avatar

Super easy to use, eve. If you start off not knowing how to do anything. There is a paid version but the free version works just a great, not missing out on much. I really recomend it no matter how skilled or unskilled you are as it will most definatley help if you have the time and patience. (that's for guitar, don't know about piano and all the rest)

  16. Benjamin Olivo-avatar

Honestly, the app is pretty good. The only thing I don't really like is the fact that you have to pay for the ability to play the songs you want to. Don't get me wrong, some of Yousician's songs are pretty good and they need to make money some how, but I think they should be limiting the songs you can play, not taking them all away. Besides that, the app is good for learning the guitar, especially with the situation happening now.p

  17. gurpreet singh-avatar

It is the best music app for guitar and ukulele lessons . The only minor flaw would be that the note is misheard but that is not the biggest problem . And for the advert for premium , it takes up 20 secs and continuously takes up my playing time which is only 10 mins , giving me less time to practice . BUT overall I totally recommend this app ....

  18. Ebony McKenzie-avatar

This app is amazing. It is a great way to learn how to play an instrument or or how to sing. The thing I love about it the most is it takes the terminology used by musicians and it breaks it down into categories. A vocal coach teaches through video, but also through a audio guide during the lessons. If you don't get something right it tells you and has you redo it. Amazing fun and effortless program. I love it! Con song selections are mostly Rock, Hip Hop or R&B "Urban" very few to pick from.

  19. Brenda Robie-avatar

I'm really enjoying this app. I've been teaching myself ukelele for a few years but I have never dedicated the time to get good at it. This makes it so easy and fun. No more YouTube videos that are too difficult or hard to figure out. This gives basic information in a way that makes me want to continue with the lessons. I went for premium and don't regret it!

  20. Danielle S-avatar

This is a really fun and addicting way to learn an instrument! I just wish it had more songs to choose from. There's a fair amount, but I have some songs in mind I'd like to learn how to play really well and this app helps me gauge how well I'm playing. It's just disappointing that there aren't more songs, especially since from reading other reviews there used to be more.

  21. Athol King-avatar

Awesome, I've had a little experience with guitar previpusly with face-to-face lessons. But I feel I've learnt more from this in 2 days. Lot less expensive as well. Always feel like you are making progress. Lessons are well structured, can even check out your ranking globally. I might even try out the piano as well

  22. Alex Vis-avatar

It has delays in picking up the sound of the guitar, even amplified, I have an average class phone, no issues with any aps so far. So I have to replay the string after the song stops. So it's useless and annoying. No exit button, I had to go to setting an open privacy policy in browser. The idea is good, but the implementation is horrible.

  23. Shlagathore-avatar

I've only just started using the app and I didn't look around for any other musicians app but in terms of knowledge easy to follow guide, I find this app so helpful in teaching me what seems like everything about the guitar and it's just what I've been looking for. Great app I cant wait to see what it has to teach me.

  24. Carlos Soriano-avatar

So far it's pretty amazing, it keeps you motivated all the way. Even if you know how to play an instrument it teaches you a few tricks and chords. Specially the piano version which teaches you to read music. It also has different styles, again pretty amazing and worth it, specially for this quarantine!

  25. Git-avatar

I have to turn my amp up to unreasonable levels for the app to properly register what Im playing. Calibrated multiple times. App just isnt for me. The app is made well though everything looks great and is fast. It shoves the premium subscription in your face every 10 minutes which I get an app with this quality it makes sense to pay the premium but I wanted to try it out before spending $14/month but the app just cant pickup my amp unless I really crank it high.

  26. Chazz-avatar

Meh. The push to premium is annoying, I find that there's not many songs on premium. Even if you do cancel premium, it still charges you (because its a yearly plan), but this is misleading as the app says "cancel anytime". You can't say "cancel any time" while still charging people for a service they're not using anymore. The actual play is very good, you can adjust the speed and is easy to follow! But the song list and expensive premium lets it down.

  27. ??????????????-avatar

The app is good. the only problem is that for some reason the app is not calibrating anyting correct, so the app keeps thinking I'm playing an electric guitar even though I'm not. It can get really annoying that it keeps posting stuff to tell me to turn on the amp even though my guitar doesn't use an amp.

  28. Joshua Das-avatar

Why did I not get this app earlier is my only regret. The app teaches in a very interactive way which I love. After using the app for 2 days in trial version I upgraded to 1 year of premium plus subscription. I am learning guitar and singing. The pricing is almost 10 x cheaper as compared to offline guitar classes in any premium music school which makes this affordable for all. This is the best app to make investment in, if learning in the best way is your goal.

  29. Josh McConnell-avatar

Just beginning to learn the guitar and I've got mixed emotions about this app. I don't like how fast songs start after pushing the's a struggle to get to the right chord immediately after pressing the button Maybe implement a voice start? Also it seems a little wonky sometimes. I can hit the same chord twice and it'll say one is incorrect. I do like this app though, it's super convenient to practice whenever I want.

  30. Ivan Bond-avatar

Easy to follow along. Instructive if you're committed to setting aside time of the day (minimum 1h) and practicing. Invaluable as a beginners tool in any sort of instrument you want to learn and cant afford classes (I'm talking about 0 experience) and looking to start out somewhere. If it continues to be an excellent product i will purchase premium.

  31. Random User-avatar

This worked amazing for the first 2 days, then the mic just completely stopped working. It wont register any sounds, even it's own calibration signal. I've force stopped the app, I've reinstalled it, I restarted my phone, tried to recalibrate, nothing will work and it really makes me sad. If its fixed or it turns out the problem was on my end, I'll change my review. Until then, I'm really disappointed

  32. Jaspreet Kaur-avatar

Honestly, this app is awesome! There's only one problem though. The premium ads are SERIOUSLY annoying. I mean really annoying. And there are these pop ups that come out of nowhere and then it just loads. I wish there was an option of giving 0 star rating. I used to love this app even with the free version. It's waste of time anyway. Half of the time is spent on those premium ads and those pop ups

  33. VF 2019-avatar

I'm enjoying practicing & noticed that my smart phone is not accepting some of the notes I'm playing & waiting for me to play the note again; I do believe this is some kind of error in the sound feedback of my phone, so I either put my headphones on or use my Bluetooth speaker, which seems to rectify the problem 😊. Apart from my finger tips being hella sore, I think it's a very good app to learn guitar, having been to lessons previously, I'm learning a lot more now, than I did then.

  34. Poorvika Sharma-avatar

    Poorvika Sharma

I bought a guitar when I was 13 but got busy with academics, later job & never got time to take lessons. But thanks to this app I don't have to worry about going to classes which have set timings. Finally at 26, my dream of playing guitar is coming true. And like it's so affordable & reasonable than what professionals here charge. Really really helpful I have to say

  35. Swati Jadhav-avatar

I had an awesome experience.. I chose the singing option and the tutorials are just fabulous... But there's a problem for the beginners who haven't paid for the yousician premium.. It just gives u hardly 10-15 minutes a day without the premium pack.. A advertisement pops up for using premium and tells u that ur today's daily course is over and will surely give some time to use yousician tomorrow and it really does...

  36. Alexi Munoz-avatar

Highly disappointed. I used this app about a year ago and had no issues. This time around theres something off with the calibration. I didnt even touch my guitar and the app was saying I was hitting notes perfectly or early. When i actually use my guitar it doesnt register period. Really wishing i didnt pay for a month.

  37. Kendra Lyons-avatar

I signed up for the free trial to get unlimited lessons and songs, I ended up deciding it wasn't worth my money. But when I went to cancel the trial the day before it was over, since I didn't want to pay for what I wasn't going to like, but I opened the app to see it logged me out of the account and will no longer accept my email. It took my money and now I am livid.

  38. Vladimir Levachyov-avatar

    Vladimir Levachyov

It's great for some things, such as playing in time with a track. Some very important skills are developed. However, the technology is far from perfect. At various times the app doesn't pick up that I'm playing a chord. Other times it picks up things I didn't play. It's possible to "cheat" on the app by just playing a lot of noise and hope that something matches with what the app wants you to play (and often, it does). Also, it's not always clear what they want you to play...

  39. Androi13-avatar

Wow I'm 2 days in and addicted to this. I've got my whole kit: bass, DI box and amp. It works much better on my computer with a rig, as my phone mic seems spotty. I think this is perfect for the self motivated learner. The practice tool is great it allows me to slow things down to a comfortable speed and work on the techniques,- which seem crucial to progress. I'm a perfectionist so I want to 3 star all exercises and workouts because I feel that's the only way to judge technique on the app.

  40. cgi_carrots-avatar

The difficulty ramps up way too fast, and the 10 minutes a day was not long enough to remember the songs so you can practice them. The app responded to noise coming into the Mic about as good as a 2 month old baby trying respond to a nuclear meltdown. And I get at heart your intention was to teach, and I love the tuning system and parts of the playing system, but everything else was executed so horribly leaving with you with a very shity teaching.

  41. Potato Art-avatar

I paid for it and use it to learn guitar, and would definitely recommend it to others who are a beginner, because they dont only teach guitar! But when I found out that they used to have almost any song, but was taken down, I was disappointed and felt dissatisfied, I think I and others would love yousician even more if there were more songs that could fit other people's tastes. But I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

  42. R W-avatar

The app doesnt pick up on the note you played on time. You wither have ahead or behind the song. Very frustrating. I am sure it could reach you something but it's a better idea in thought than execution. In my opinion. Or maybe it is for electric guitar only and my classical doesnt reso ate loudly enough.

  43. K Waffle-avatar

This is my first time playing and practicing guitar properly. Its a helpful apps. Been practicing for two days now. The video tutorial is very clear and I love how they can keep tracks on our progress. I havent explore the whole thing yet, but so far I really enjoy practicing guitar. There's so many things to learn. Good for beginner I suppose.

  44. Nikki Stepanek-avatar

This is a fantastic resource. The lessons are nice and short, and you get lots of songs to practice each new technique. I'm perfectly satisfied using the free 10 minutes. And if you choose to subscribe, this app gives you a year of music lessons for the price of a month or two of in-person lessons. Come on, people. My one complaint is that there's no skill test for the knowledge section. I've done music my whole life, so it's annoying to sit through lessons on basics like pitch and tempo.

  45. Moonlight Scars-avatar

    Moonlight Scars

I love how many different choices you have instrument wise. However, I hate that you only get a limited time to play each day, unless you go premium. I get you guys want money, but you could cool it with how much money you have to spend on premium. All people care about these days is money! Other that that though I love this app. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  46. Maniac Jac-avatar

Guitar: It is worth the subscription. ! Without the subscription you can only play 10 minutes a day. Also, you don't get popular music to play. With the subscription you get unlimited play time. If you can afford it (its pretty cheap), subscribe. Best app I've seen so far. Its more like a game which makes it fun and keeps you wanting to push yourself.

  47. Marz Tablac-avatar

It's never too late to learn music and singing. This app has definitely given me that chance at the comfort of my home. This app made this quarantine worth staying at home- by doing what I have always wanted to do,which is learning music! Thanks to the makers of Yousician. You definitely rock!!!

  48. PinkSprinkles YAY-avatar

    PinkSprinkles YAY

This is a great app that can improve your skills on all ukulele bass piano and guitar really fast by going through the steps of playing everything. It goes to everything step by step with you. It is very fun and efficient and I love using this app 😍 The one thing that I would love to change about this app is that because of how fun it is the lesson time goes by really fast, and you need premium to get unlimited time and premium costs a lot. At least make it a one-time payment instead of monthly

  49. Himanshu Gashyal-avatar

    Himanshu Gashyal

Love to Play with this... I am a Beginner with just a week and i am loving this app as it makes me learn n play with songs... More free content please it's a time bound on a trial, make it available as a learner, we can arrange time, then if we decide to Purchase it, it Should be there as an option but please extend time for a trial version in the beginning...

  50. Peter Watkins-avatar

If this worked, I would easily rate this 5 stars, but the audio recognition is absolute abysmall, I tried every setting and adjusted my phone's position but it wasn't picking my guitar up. Nothing more frustrating than failing an easy song because LITERALLY ZERO OF THE NOTES were picked up by the app. Also, using the free version you're bombarded with ads to the point of it just being annoying. Wouldn't recommend at all. Only positive is that I really like the UI and how the app is set out.

  51. Joseph Peric-avatar

Terrible. You can only use it for ten minutes per day if you don't have premium, a cow would be better at recognizing if you played the right note and without premium plus you can only play from a restricted list of songs, not mention how many ads advertising for premium come up. Absolutely useless

  52. Sukrit Ghosh-avatar

Very good and simple interface. Love the way things are placed and the way each lesson in placed very friendly and detailed learning structure anyonce can get the app and start learning even if they arnt from any sort of musical background. I really wish Indian classical music was included would have been cherry on the cake.

  53. Giu val-avatar

I tried it for the guitar lessons...I am not a beginner. I am not professional or amateur...I just know a few rock chords with lead scales covering the entire neck...I can't play any songs or really anything...I just run my fingers up and down anyway with rock chords and a few licks and at the same time listening to music.. Usually off utube...i uninstalled this app in about didn't work for me....

  54. Dylan Le Grange-avatar

    Dylan Le Grange

Honestly it's just okay, songs and chords aren't great and there arnt many at all. Tutorials arnt bad but the price u pay for this is ridiculous. Save yourself the hassle and get rocksmith on pc or console . Its 100 times better, flawless with detecting chords and tracks progress better with over a 1000 different tracks

Decent enough from what I've used so far but major beef this far..... I'm using this to learn bass. App doesn't hear the notes I'm playing so you have to pick notes unnaturally hard. Also, I wish there was a bypass option as I play guitar already and chose to branch out to bass... I'm way past basics.

  56. Riccardo Raia-avatar

Doesn't work? It says "Yousician will play a sound to test your microphone"...Also asking me to decrease my volume level... Guess what? Doesn't work. Volume levels are extremely low and the app just won't work. What is going on here? Any help?

Overall, i love this app! It has a good design and music experience to keep you playing. It is addictive and you can be the great musician with this app. But this app sometimes lag when hearing your guitar sound. And for me, the music in this app is too little. Maybe you can add more songs. Thanks

In love with the app. I am learning guitar (which has been my dream for the longest time). I couldn't go to the class because of my time schedule, this app is a boon to me. Using this app I can learn guitar anywhere and anytime; at my convinience ☺️ keep up the good work team, you have a winner with this app🙂

Actually playing for the 1st time with purpose. I've been in bands for years as a vocalist, was never able to play. I buy a decent acoustic and this app and now I can definitely play alot better then the past. Still learning but at least not just strumming to strum. Love this app 2👍👍

  60. Brad Smith-avatar

I hate that this advert is constantly shoved down your throat, then when you install it they shove their 'premium plus' down your throat! It also sometimes doesn't pick the sound up properly. Nice idea for an app just stop shoving down our throats. We know you exist!!!!

  61. Liz Yeet-avatar

This app is AMAZING!! I'm using this to learn how to play the guitar amd my ukelele, I personally wish that the lessons are a little bit longer, but it's fine. I always wanted to learn how to play my ukelele for quite a while now, and I love it, not much with the guitar though, lessons are going a little slow with the guitar, but I don't mind, as it's a bigger instrument and it'll take awhile to learn it. 10/10 would definitely recommend to my friends, and everyone else who wants to learn.

Won't let you cancel payments for account even if you delete the account, cancel the subscription in app and play store. They still tell you that they're gonna charge you month to month and you can not stop it. I will continue to dispute this charge with my bank every month and add a stop payment to my card until this stops. This is terrible business and they should be ashamed of themselves. Do yourself a favor and never download anything from this company. They will steal from you.

Disappointed, half the time it doesn't register the notes I am hitting, then realized some notes register when I'm not playing (literally just let the song run, and it continued as if I was playing) .. so I'm pretty disappointed. Was thinking about paying for it but now I'm happy I didn't pay for this app.

  64. liam Cheney-avatar

Yousician is a fun app. I've been learning for 2 weeks and I am learning my guitar skills. I enjoy learning each lesson. I know how to play fret by fret quickly and before I was repeating 2 notes over and over again. And this app also tunes your guitar and other instruments! Install this app and get started now!

  65. kayla acaedmy-avatar

I play the right notes but it says I play it wrong this app is stupid it worked for the first lesson but the second lesson was so bad the lessons are so short and the ads are CONSTANT. They hype this app up so much I do not recommend this app. I'm going to give this app one more run then if it still doesn't work I'm getting rid of it

  66. Ewan McAspurn-avatar

Been enjoying the app a lot and has definitely sped up my learning process however I would recommend using this as an add on to learning through other means. Would give a 5 star review but it sometimes doesn't pick up notes and it NEEDS TO LET PEOPLE VIEW TABS WITHOUT HAVING TO PLAY THROUGH THO WHOLE SONG!

Great means for playing and learning instruments. Great help especially for beginners and intermediates. Its been only 3-4 days learnt a lot. App listen to our playing and corrects us of the slightest strings not strummed correctly, which is otherwise not noticeable or recognized by our ears.

  68. Nicio Schreudy-avatar

I think that this is amazing in general, especially with Premium+. If there was one thing I found annoying it's the price of Prenium+ and the adverts of it when you don't have it. I find the app is very limited without premium+.

  69. Shamar Sanker-avatar

It's a very easy self explanatory program that teaches you how to play better in a matter of no more than 10 minutes. I personally love it and I am just getting into playing eclectic guitar and I am learning things so much faster. I highly recommend it. Have fun!

  70. Elize Kruger-avatar

I am enjoying the all alot but I play classic guitar and I feel it does not pick up the same as an electric so even when I play the correct notes it picks it up as incorrect. I am tempted to get the paid version but this is holding me back.

  71. reyes jj-avatar

Its a wonderful app if you really want to learn an instrument all you need is 10 mins out of your day and there is a free week trial then you can choose a membership but let me tell you it is worth it ive been useing this app barly 2 days and already have gotten better at simging...thanks yousician (:

  72. Zachary Fournier-avatar

    Zachary Fournier

Advertised as free, which it is as long as you like and add for the premium every other minute. Limited amount of lessons a day resulting in about 10min(15min if you include ads). For all I learned "in a day", might as well have just Googled parts of a guitar and do with fingers.

  73. Dagmar Andersen-avatar

    Dagmar Andersen

This isn't a bad app. I actually like it a lot. But I hate how it only give you 10 minutes to use the free learning and if you want to have more than 10 minutes a day you have to pay for it. I get it that they're trying to make a business but I can't afford a subscription for everything. As much as I would like to that is.

  74. D7NNY-avatar

This is a great app I really love it but there is a 10 or 15 minute time cap which you can't exceed and there a constantly urging you to buy their premium option but apart from that this is the best guitar learning app I've ever seen.

  75. Steven Dobson-avatar

Started playing bass again after 15 years. So far it's a decent aid to getting back into it. Wish there wasn't a cutoff time wise, but fully understand for the free version. So far pretty good.

  76. John Ellis-avatar

Great app, I'm short on time so the free version is perfect for me. Only thing that bugs me is the constant nagging to go premium. If I wanted to or had enough time in a day, I would. But other than that, love the app.

  77. Joshua Smith-avatar

This app just didn't work as well as other methods I used, when I tried to play along it was telling me I was playing the wrong cord, which I wasn't and I tuned my guitar through this app at first and it told me to tune it wrong basically

  78. Lukas Greyvenstein-avatar

    Lukas Greyvenstein

Very bad. I am very unhappy about the fact that you only have one free lesson a day. Also all of the other features are blocked if you dont buy the premium this is very misleading and awful experience you cant do anything without buying the full version of this app so dont waiste your time.

It really makes my singing grate and it helps me practice routine and get more exercise at singing than usually i do. i have my singing course and bc of the pandemic i could use some help for my singing to keep my practice too so yousician is a very good app for people who likes music

  80. Suriayia Sond-avatar

I love Yousician its better than any YouTube video I have now learnt the basics of how to play a guitar.White a free account I have one lesson a day which is very helpful. It's how's you your score and if something's hard you can play in practice mod. This app actually hears you play and gears your mistakes.I totally will recommend this to anyone their isn't even any adds.

  81. Oisin O'Halpin-avatar

Overall good. Lots to offer, even for the free version. Might just be me, but the notes i play on guitar don't seem to register with the app a lot of the time. Other than that solid app

  82. Aiden Denis-avatar

Horrible app, every 2 minutes it is asking me to subscribe for their premium content and it never registers the notes I play and I actually check to see if I am playing the right notes (I am playing the notes correctly). If there was an option to rate this app below 1 star, I would rate it -10/5

  83. Daksh Bhatt-avatar

5 star for this app!!!!!! Good material even for the free members!! Unbelievable!!! Though the constant pop up to buy premium membership appears... But that is understood.. User friendly.. And perfect for beginners.... Way to go Yousician... 🥳🥳🥳

  84. Max Henlis-avatar

For the most part, it's a very helpful learning tool for beginners. However, sometimes when I play a note correctly, it thinks I played it wrong. So if that got patched up, this would be an easy 5 stars.

  85. Ashlee Fields-avatar

Great for visual leaders that YouTube can't satisfy. If you played Guitar Hero, you can see the similarities making it nostalgic and actually super fun to learn guitar. I might even start paying the monthly amount.

  86. Midevil Caveman-avatar

    Midevil Caveman

Worse than SiriusXM trying to cancel. Will pay for 1 year no matter what. When you cancel, it's after a year. It's a yearly subscription billed monthly, not monthly subscription. New songs come out like once a month at best. I haven't played in 4/5 months and not much new songs since then

  87. Aaron Reiter-avatar

Kind of pricey but it definitely works. I was more of an intermediate player when I downloaded this app. So maybe it seemed a little easier than it would to someone who hasn't played at all. However I still think it's a pretty solid app for learning stringed instruments

  88. Nerysonfire-avatar

The best music app! I'm learning ukelele and the videos are helpful, the app layout is simple and easy to use, and it's a fun way to learn--better than going for lessons, in my opinion, but maybe that's just my introvertedness speaking :)

  89. Cas Humber-avatar

Seems interesting but $14 a month for premium is ridiculous and unless you have premium you'll be playing such hits as "when the saints go marching in" and "jingle bells."

  90. Nate-avatar

Billed on April 8th & paid, but not valid anymore. Then goto their website and they want $30 for the same $13.99 mo service. Content hit and miss in quality and usefulness. Earned a 1 star due to just charged, and asking for more money. Not worth $30 a month, or even $179.99mo at yearly 50% discount. Recomend spending $60 for a higher quality instruction elsewhere. If your from yousician, I want a refund for April and cancel my subscription. As it goes outside Google Plays policy by external.

  91. Rancy Family-avatar

It won't even let me do other songs like my favorite song all I have to do is say pay and it's not like whatmy decision it's because I don't want to waste money just for doing my favorite songs and I just don't like how the mic only works for like 5 days and then it starts just like fussing and not working probably and there's way too much videos and it picks up every soundso if like I'm breathing like hard it's going to pick up and going to make me mess up which I don't like

  92. Enaji Agabi-avatar

It's very easy to use and has a tuner and a metronome, which are really handy. The interface is really amazing too. It's a wonderful lication for aspiring musicians. I recommend it

  93. Random Videos-avatar

Not really satisfied to be honest the tuner isn't accurate at all whenever i tune the g string it always says are you tuning the right string cause the tuner detects the number 6th string even though im tunning up the 4th string takes me a lot of time untill one of the string just break ...

Its amazing but there isin't enough songs like a big clasic (Nothing eles matters from metalica) add this one and I'll rate 5 star for sure its very good for learning how to play thats the focus I get it but pleas add more songs just for fun it would be amazing thx for reading

  95. Peter Raj-avatar

FANTASTIC APP .. I'm able to make significant progress in learning guitar, which I never had in any class room format courses. I'd strongly recommend this app, both beginners and intermediate levels.

  96. Linn Gubala-avatar

Wonderful experience for the advanced and beginner. A lot like Guitar Hero game for XBOX, good for timing even if you're a musician, but it is with the actual guitar. Update I just subscribed to really get serious about my guitar and bass skills

This is the best app I could have thought for if we don't include the instruments which it doesn't include .I hope musics lessons for more instruments will be available soon specially, flute, mouth organ harmonium and drums

  98. Hans Thomas-avatar

I am amazed at how this works. Every step is sequential, organized, and easy at hands. I am a novice in guitar. I am doing my best but as always practice is the key

It is more convinient and better app for studing guitar. I am a very beginner at this and And this app makes everything easy. Although i had mixed feeling about this since most of the songs had to pay cash as premium

Only started yesterday, but already seeing improvements in my uke playing. Great app, with easy to follow instructional videos, and tutorials to play along to. Am currently on a free trial, but I'll definitely be carrying on
