The app itself is great and fun. For me, the learning missions for guitar are leaning too much towards rock and metal. Their original songs are pretty annoying. Having said that, I still enjoy practicing with them. Just wish for more genres and real songs. Edit: after using it for several months, I also wish there would be a more comprehensive theory and ear training. This area is not really developed here.

скачать Subscribed for 2 months of premium. I used the app for learning Ukulele, and it was going well until the course went into finger picking strings, that I had no interest to learn, they were just too hard for me. I could not play the chords / the songs up in the ladder. I wanted a ladder with more progress on chords, rather than a fingerpicking module in the later stages. Also, there are no Indian songs at all. Just some foreign songs I don't know at all.

  3. Sandra Rudnicka-avatar

    Sandra Rudnicka

apk It's rigged against the non-paying user. It doesn't register notes, even when they were obviously played. So if you want those gold stars, you're gonna be stuck repeating the same thing until the system decides you can proceed. Before you know it, you end up hearing the dreaded "Session over" speech, and get shoved prices in your face.

دانلود It was all good until I did a cord right like 50 times and it still didnt pick it up. I tuned my ukelele. I reset my phone. I changed the setting but nothing would work. I even got a more experienced player and it still wouldn't work. It wouldn't even let me skip it. Also every 2 minutes it bugs you to get the premium. It said that I had finished the days allowed time but it still wouldn't let me play the next day. Terrible app and I never want to support it.

دانلود برنامه yousician an award winning music education app Good app for anyone wanting to learn with an interactive feed back . The app listens whilst you play so you can see how well you are actually playing. If anything I feel it's way too easy starting from scratch as I'm experienced but I chose to start from scratch due to being a bit of a completionist. I'll eventually get to where I'm being a bit more challenged, but for a complete beginner who's never touched a guitar, it would be an awesome app. The subscription is a bit pricey for my liking.

I've been using this app daily for the last few months and cannot recommend it more! It detects notes very well, especially if you use headphones or earbuds. I've used premium+ and the free version and they are both very good. I really like that there are three courses you can bounce between. It takes a more educational, authentic lesson approach. If you are considering downloading this app, download it. Also unlike others, there are no ads from other companies. The feedback is also immediate.

  7. Master Insight-avatar

    Master Insight

The app is fairly good, the real time feedback and the selection of songs, trainings and tutorial videos are outstanding for the price pm. However there were a lot of bugs I've ran into, for example the app sometimes does not detect that an electric guitar is plugged in and playing; despite being at full volume. And in addition playing throughout songs, the player lags severely completely throwing off my rhythm and the rhythm of the song which completely ruins the immersion when playing

Great app to learn bass on, especially if you purchase the premium subscription, which you can cancel later. 3 star rating due to fact can't use app with headphones. Is very laggy and freezes up at times. Devs removed songs that I play on a daily basis. These things I shouldn't have to deal with as a premium subscriber. Devs should be able to add thousands of songs witout having to remove others. These things need to be addressed asap, at the moment not worth the $14 a month I pay. Thanks

If you played guitar hero but wanted to learn guitar/bass this app is like the bridge to it. So far It has nice reminders to practice, tuning, and tutorials and sensors to tell you if you are playing the right note. The premium is optional if you wait for the X to show up on the ad to buy to try it out for a while. If you do the free you just get limited on how long to play. Premium seems worth the value of the songs and quality they have provided thus far in the app. A maybe 5/5 will see.

  10. Erikson Eerie-avatar

    Erikson Eerie

A 15 second unskippable video ad after every single tiny thing you do? I get you need to subscribe and pay money, but if I can't try it first, I won't bother. And I'm not giving my credit card info "just to try it". So if the free experience is terrible, why would anyone expect the paid one to be any different?

Lovely app. I tried going to so many websites but I never understood anything ,but here everything is in order and easy to use. I play the guitar and I have had an incredible improvement . I sing to but I have always been good at it but for beginners I really appreciate the amount of vocal exercises and vocal health tips they give really helped me maintain my voice.

  12. Lucian Gramescu-avatar

    Lucian Gramescu

This app is wonderful for learning. The content and gamification really makes learning an instrument fun. However, I am writing this review in frustration with the fact that the app does not seem to know I am premium(?)- or at least it does not explain premium correctly. I am saying this for two reasons: - the app limits my daily practice time - I get pestered very often with a timed ad to go Premium, that I cannot stop until 15 sec have passed I am a paying customer, so LEAVE ME ALONE PLEASE!

  13. Margarita Pancheva-avatar

    Margarita Pancheva

I absolutely love Yousician. It's really easy to use and get into. I had no issues when playing the piano, but when I picked up the ukulele, it was different. I think the app should have more in terms of theory, teaching you how to read the notes, how to transition faster and smoother when strumming and exercises to do to release the tension in the wrists in the pathway itself. Otherwise, if you just want to learn how to play a couple of songs, it's great!

  14. Ruchita Raikar-avatar

    Ruchita Raikar

Really good app, learnt a few songs as well. Motivates you to play more. Wish I could have free premium membership for longer. This app doesn't have all the songs, but there are few worth playing. Improvement points- I wish I could access all the songs on the web via yousician and get the melody and chords for that

  15. Sarah Oppelt-avatar

    Sarah Oppelt

The app gets better with each update. I think I've improved a lot on ukulele in the year and a half I've used Yousician. The weekly challenges are fun, and there is plenty of free content. If you use the free version (I do), then the ads tend to get repetitive. I'd love to see more free songs added, but I have plenty of stars to collecting the meantime.

  16. fadi qvi-avatar

    fadi qvi

Great app in theory, but it doesnt really work. The app keeps asking me to plug in an amp for my guitar (I'm using an acoustic guitar) the app is also bad a recognizing the notes I play. Always goes red even tho I play the notes correctly. Returned my guitar with the app several times yet no results. I will try using non mic earphones next, hopefully that fixes things. Perhaps the issue is with my galaxy s9 microphone. All in all good idea but poorly executed.

  17. Nikk Afonin-avatar

    Nikk Afonin

Guys, I really like you app, but this new animation when you move from one moment of song to a previous one is so bad. It really makes me sick, like when you reading some text on the phone in a car and the driver constantly accelerates and brakes. And also this alert about connecting my phone to amplifier, guys if I don't connect it then I have a reason for that. Why does the app remind me it twice per song? That's super annoying. This app needs to provide more control on UI for a user

  18. r cayde switch-avatar

    r cayde switch

It's a good app but every time I get a note right on my guitar it counts it as wrong and that really does stress me out the same thing happens when I have it on a low tempo and it makes me even more stressed out when that happens. And it gives me less motivation to play and I get to the point where I don't play my guitar and give up or pop a string or break my guitar. And also I get to the point where I'll just teach myself how to play. I've been playing for a year l, I'm getting nowhere good.

  19. Tieryen Dracon-avatar

    Tieryen Dracon

This is very fun and professional but it doesn't really make you feel like your going anywhere you have used for months and there is no little tune or song you can show for it. Other that it is very good for learning where to put your fingers and how hard to press for guitar and with practice it becomes easier and no longer a hassle.

  20. C P-avatar

This app has blown my mind. Technologically its incredible. Ive never considered I might be able to sing. And although its only been 3 days, I can feel pitch and tone and have been improving with the exercises. Ive committed to 30 mins per day and cant wait to see how far I'll be able to go over the next 3 months.

This app is great when used on my phone, but I am struggling to get it to work on my Pixelbook which uses Android app strore but Chrome OS. When I go to my audio setting it says to turn the volume down to calibrate, but nothing happens when I do. I can use on PC or my phone, but it would ideal if I can get it to work on the Pixelbook. Please work out this kink, please!

  22. Ben Keating-avatar

Easiest way to work on site reading. I found that I could choose to view music by staff alone. I was never able to work on reading the musical staff before. Granted, I did have to start over from lesson 1 since I had no idea what I was looking at. 3 stars because there's no user uploaded songs anymore.

  23. Trudy Wood-avatar

I'm having great fun learning the guitar with the premium version of this app. Its an excellent learning tool and I'm making great progress. Because it's so fun to use, I'm practising more than I thought I would, which is really helping. Would definitely recommend this app.

  24. Night Slasher-avatar

    Night Slasher

Just started to learn how to use a guitar today. Found this app months ago thinking i could figure out how to practice and went through the limit within like an hour. Thoight this app would be easy to use and play even after you finish with the time limit to go back and practice more. Nope, once the timer is done you cant use the app for another day if you plan to know how to play better to find an actual person to pay i stead of some app that doesnt even let you go back and play on after finish

  25. Mallerie Lapp-avatar

DO NOT PAY FOR PREMIUM!!!!! We have tried canceling our subscription MULTIPLE times over several months and are are STILL getting charged. There is no number to call so all disputes have to be done via email. They send NO receipts or any type or confirmation so there is no proof of stealing from you. I finally had to call my bank and cancel my debit card so they no longer could charge me! AVOID THE FRUSTRATION AND HEADACH AND FIND A DIFFERENT APP!!!

  26. Kyran Russell-avatar

    Kyran Russell

Easy to use, good for use of learning but as soon as you get into the app it forces in your face a free trial for the app. It's basicly saying HEY YOU HAVE TO PAY TO LEARN MATERIAL YOU CAN FIND ONLINE FOR FREE. Don't waste your money or time on this. There is plenty of youtube videos, books, and websites that can teach you all of this if you really want to.

  27. T. Brightburn-avatar

    T. Brightburn

Well done yousician. I am now convinced that I'm never going to be able to play the guitar after my mum spent £30 on getting me one. You pick up the sound everytime I hit the wrong chord but whenever I hit the correct chord, I get a notification saying that yousician can't pick up my sound. Hmmm.....

  28. Camille Skripnek-avatar

    Camille Skripnek

Very nice app. For the singing part there could definitely be a wider range of music but I'm sure that's in progress. If there was a selection of rap music I'd be on this for hours probably. If you're a pop fan it's basically made for you.

  29. Irma Estrada-Silva-avatar

    Irma Estrada-Silva

I have zero knowledge of guitar and music and decided life's too short to waste with "I wish I knew" so I decided to get a guitar and play, I bought an electric guitar, it's beautiful and this app makes it easy, fun, organic and smooth to learn. I love it! If you're like me and have ZERO knowledge in guitar, or if you already play some, this is the best app!

  30. Ipertatos 226-avatar

Great app for learning many instruments. Even though it may cause a false positive or negative with the notes its still a great app. As a suggestion, I would really like being able to watch an advertisement for extra minutes of learning in this app

I am loving this app so much! I picked up my guitar again after almost 10 years and it is helping me relearn all those things I forgot since highschool., Rebuilding my ear and restrengthening my fingers. Thank you for such an amazing app.

  32. Scott Gibson-avatar

    Scott Gibson

Total beginner,, easily distracted, but I gave it 4. I've been doing better playing songs or hooks that I want to learn. My brain hates lessons, I need instant results and I've got them my way. My way: watch YouTube videos of something easy, at half speed, pause, repeat til ya know it

  33. Anthony-avatar

(BASS) They fixed the calibration problem. But it's still misleading when it comes to played the right note or missing it. They should add a color in between red and green to acknowledge you played something.

  34. Thomas-avatar

I rarely give things 5 stars but this deserves it, i am learning guitar and loving it, my only complaint is that you need to pay to get access to every song but since there are no ads that makes sense

I'm a beginner but before this app I had no Idea where to start, i was probably like you, if you thought this app was total BS but it's not! Yousician made me a better guitar player, and I think this app can help you too!

This is app is alright. When I first started it, it told me to tune the guitar and that was alright but when I was playing it didn't tell me keys it was just telling me what string to play.

  37. Lynxy-avatar

It's very simple and teaches you your instrument easily. But does not always pick up every string on gutiar. When I started using the app I had no musical talent but now I San play the guitar. Great should download

So very good. Simple easy to understand instructions. Is only day two so we'll see how long it lasts. Really enjoying it still. It's been a couple of months now and I'm still making progress and getting better.

The app just does a terrible job at accurately detecting notes unless you're playing at max volume, which is important for an app designed to help teach music.

I'm trying to learn the ukulele. In the first lesson you practice strumming. I get through the first few no problem. Then it gets stuck. I'm strumming ad nauseam and it wont advance. The same as I had, no dice. Trying different ways, no dice. Restart, still stuck. Can't skip or report it. The guitar one was pretty good so was hoping for a similar experience. Nope.

A good app (I use it for piano and guitar), on the paying plan. I've just moved and the Wifi drops very often in my new place and guess what? YOU CAN'T USE THE APP OFFLINE!! So if you're planning on learning in a remote place, let's say campsite, beach house... for example, don't bother downloading. The yearly price is huge enough, so I'm not gonna renew my subscription if an online mode isn't made available by the begining of next year.

Currently using the free trial because I can't consistently commit time. Sometimes I play the right notes but the app doesn't recognize it (possibly because of timing or my guitar is out of tune) but overall I know when I should be able to progress and it's pushing me to continue making progress - Something I couldn't manage to do on my own. Thank you Yousician 🙏 🧑‍🎤🎸🎶🤘

I really love this app. It is well put together and you can tell the creators really know their music and how to teach it. The only thing I wish is that the daily free time was more than 15 minutes, or that the monthly subscription were cheaper. I can't swing the $30/month and I'm also unable to commit to 12 months for the lower cost. Maybe allowing users to watch ads for additional free learning time could be an option?

I would definitely not advise anyone to get this stupid app it's worthless now and doesn't work properly the developer should be ashamed of their self I wish I could give zero stars but in order for the poor members of the world to see this I had to give it one star very disappointed with the app first u can improve the instructors/app's hearing then the amount of ads and songs available more songs please and over all it needs to be more informative the slowed down mode doesn't do anything

SO GREAT. I never review apps, but for Yousician I'll make an exception. It has helped me learn guitar basics in just 6 months(and I'm using the free version 10-20 minutes a day). There are no pesky ads(other than the short ones from the developers) and I love reaching new levels and getting certificates! Thanks a bunch Yousician team for such a great app!!!

Learning how to play guitar from scratch. Apart from me raging about not being able to play a song spot on sometimes this app makes it fun to learn. Gamified learning is the future. Its basically playing guitar hero on your playstation but then with a real guitar and actually really learning a new skill. I have to admit I find the premium quite expensive. I'm sure people would be much easier to convince to go premium if the price was lower. Other than that; it's great!

This is a pretty great app, I mainly use it for guitar and ukulele and it works like a charm. I've been thinking of purchasing a membership as I enjoy the dynamics and the fun structure of the lessons. I know I've made progress in the last few days and improved. I play violin on the side, and it's be great if they had a violin course too, but as of now it's a fantastic app.

Great idea but sucks that you have to find out that after paying 20 bucks sometimes the app just completely doesn't hear notes but other times if you play the wrong ones it thinks it is right. Usually dosent happen but sucks when you cannot progress because app doesn't work right. And yes my guitar is in tune. Also if you do not have money but decide that you want to learn pick another app or use YouTube because ur only gonna be allowed to play for 10 minutes a day unless you pay 20 bucks.

A very good learning tool. However when you pay with the monthly subscription, it cheats you off learning good songs/famous songs. I don't understand why I'm asked to further upgrade to the yearly subscription. Its still the same isn't or actually its more I pay, if I calculate. If you would give us a feedback that I would have been refrained from good songs, then I would have thought better, prior to paying. I wish you wouldn't do that and help us to enjoy your tool better

Amazing app. User friendly UI. A really good app for beginners to intermediate guitarists. I gave 3 stars only due to the fact that 10 minutes per day in the free version is just a laughable matter. I know you all gotta earn from somewhere. But still if you have made a free version, you should at least give like 20 minutes a day or something. With those 10 minutes, I'd rather say that this is a fully paid app.

I already have this app on my phone. Then why the hell do I keep getting ads to download it wherever I go. It makes sense to show ads to people who don't have it. This just makes me want to uninstall it. The app is decent though. Edit: Excessive advertising made me uninstall and loathe a perfectly good app

Good app in principle, but there are some flaws. Firstly, the videos stop without warning even if my internet connection is very strong. Next, while doing the workouts, on 30% of the notes and Chords I could swear I played correct, it shows "missed note" or goes red. Red means wrong. I try to do what they suggest, "Tuning the instrument from their tuner", "lowering the background volume", and even "Lowering the app volume", but it's no use.

Although it is annoying that you don't get much time to play in the free version it's so helpful! I've been playing for at least a week now and can see and hear the improvement!! It's also cheaper than guitar lessons. I spend anywhere from 10min. To an hour everyday on it!! The key is to be self-disciplined enough to keep up with it!!! Edit: I kind of hit a plateau and lost motivation to play. Although this app what helpful, what I really need is an instructor.

Great way to learn guitar for beginners. Once you get the hang of it, the app is easy to outgrow because the songs they provide are MIDI covers of their own (very capable) performances. If you want to learn exactly how John Mayer plays your favorite song, though, you will still need to go to YouTube. The app could benefit from a song editor so you could make your own tracks. Has both "premium" and "premium plus" options that get you access to more songs, but they are still MIDI-backed covers.

Really cool app idea but major flaws. I completely understand having a premium version. However, $30/month is too high. The free version is so limited it's a joke. You start with incredibly slow single notes and after a 30 second lesson you get a 15 second ad. Then 30 second challenge and another 15 second ad. This continues until you have played for 10 minutes and now you're out of time and can't play until tomorrow. Expand the free version by replacing your ads with paid ads.

Makes me play way more than I would otherwise. I've got a lot of skills under my fingers with this one. The price hurts at first, but it has proven to be worth of every cent. And I can learn singing as well, it's an awesome singing tutor! I don't know how they got around the Android audio timing mayhem, but even the recognition seems to work very well. Great app!

I just started my free trial today. So far I'm definitely not impressed. I was really hoping to learn something. However when I play their practice songs in timing with the video, even when I hit it spot on, it generally gives me errors. So I started watching it without playing. Come to find out, it was giving hits and misses without me even touching my guitar. It's a complete gimmick and I'm so dissapointed. Save your money for a better guitar app. Lesson learned.

I've never had a more obnoxious and joyless learning experience. Especially the singing. It's so stupid that it's impossible for me to take seriously. Why can't you just be straight forward and let the people paying learn what they want. The idea of this app is perfect. The only problem I've found (when playing the guitar in my case) is that even if I play the right note, it says it's wrong... I SWEAR I'M DOING IT RIGHT, but it says wrong RANDOMLY, because one times the note is perfect and others is wrong, totally random. Although I press the same exact note, at the exact time.

The app looks promising but when you finally use the app you realise it's more of a game. Any practice is good practice but the app ask buckets of money and promises to be a music educator. There's no theory no scales nothing. If I wanted to have fun playing games I would use this app. It's inaccurate at best. The timing is completely off and the notes are the bare minimum. For a paid app I think this would be classified as an illegal ripoff. If you want to learn music don't use this app.

It gives a specified amount of time daily for non premium which makes it unfinishable in one day, which is actually good as it never ruins our daily timetables. This used to be my favourite app about 2 years ago. I lost interest in guitar so I have not used it in that time. Now, I feel interested again, download this app, and realize the heavy limitations they have put on the free version. I have my most time played of 139 minutes in a day, now, it requires premium to use it for more than 15 minutes. I was very frustated of what my favourite music learning application has become. I think there should be an option to watch an ad to increase time by 5 min

It's pretty awesome for learning guitar, but one thing that gets on my nerves is the fact that the free version isn't based on lesson time like it says it is, it's actually based on the number of lessons you click on. I spent 42 minutes in a day practicing on one part without being told my times up, but just spent 2 minutes accidently clicking out and in again on the ear training and lost the rest of the day's time. Cant wait to do some more tomorrow 😡

Add in-app yearly subscription. Why there is just monthly subscription, some user only can purchase via google payment ( include me ) and they want to get yearly subscription, but it didn't show in app so add it. Can you add something like board or list in subscription tab to let user chose what kind of plan they want to ( like 1 month plan, 3 month plan, 1 year plan ) is good then just show for user 1 plan in screen and they don't know how to change to what they want ( include me :v ) and yep most of user don't have creditcard ( one more time include me ~.~) they have to use some special payments via google

In the 4 months I've been using the app, it has helped me turn into an actual player instead of just having my guitar on my wall since I was a teenager. It's a beautiful app, but everything seems to be locked behind a subscription paywall. Lesson transitions are ads with 15 second timers on them. After one lesson, time has run out for the day. >90% of songs are for premium members, and there's no filter to find free ones (But there's a premium filter?). Playing free songs even counts as lesson time! The ads are somehow more annoying than Spotify, and it really feels like the hefty subscription would make a big profit on temporary learners.

Overall it's very good at teaching, and has an easy intuitive way of teaching people who are new to guitar. Reason being is that I hope to learn how to play off of standard alone. Otherwise a very great app

Decent app for teaching the theoretical stuff. When it comes to actually playing, however, the note reader isn't capable of reading notes properly. Incredibly frustrating when randomly in the middle of a song it misreads notes and loses you stars. The chords teacher LOVES to read random "dead notes" in the middle of chords, even if it's the same chord in a row. I had three Am in a row, it read the first and third fine but declared a dead note on the 2nd one, despite having not moved my fingers

Super app, the best I know for me that is learning both piano and guitar. It is better on tablet, it is small on phone. However some improvement: * song selection is way too limited. I wish there was more. Also wish particularly on songs like the Beach Boys' that you not put the full groups' range but have a way to pick high, middle, and low parts.Just one member can't even do the full group's range.Premium is worth it especially if you play multiple instruments. Repeating what many here have said: the app seems great but the paid version is too expensive and the free version is way too limited. And it's one thing to cut the lessons short for free but I can't even practice on my own? "Guided lessons" should be somewhat limited for free but I should be able to pick up my instrument and repeat a practice version of what I've already played if I was struggling. Stop forcing updating. Stop interrupting lessons for ads just to annoy users into paying.

Absolutely useless for piano. Let's say a phrase requires a whole note C to be played on the left hand and a string of notes descending right hand. This is a great app for learning how to sing. I've never sang besides singing along with the radio type of thing. I decided it was something I wanted to learn. The monthly charge for the premium version is the same to 1 in person class in my area. So the price is well worth it. Pretty annoying. They say they let you take lessons 10 minutes a day for free but it isn't exactly so as you mostly can exercise on songs that don't match accurately the chords you play with the actual notes expected in the song ( sometimes they are matched but mostly they are not which clearly shows that it's not pretty accurate or that's a marketing trick to make you buy the premium version ).

Seemed like a very nice and easy to use app in the begining. I also like the teaching approach. But it seems not to be able to catch all the notes that I pick during the practice. My guitar is tuned, but the app misses the notes as if I don't pick at all.

It is a great app. Awesomeness is it's right hand. I love it. I play the ukulele and am now moving on to guitar. Yousician has helped me become good at both. Thankyou so much Yousician. You made me the musician I dreamt of becoming.

Ive been playing guitar for 7-8 years. My gf was wanting to learn so i downloaded this app. The biggest problem is (and i see other peoples comments having the same annoying problem) it gives us a limited amount of time to practice and we have to pay for songs. WHY have this app if your not going to give people to time and opportunity to get better? I'm deleting to app its just a waiste of time honestly. Very dissapointed

This app helps move your guitar journey forward with clear learning paths and goals. With all the information available on the web, it's easy to jump from one video lesson to another without learning the small steps in between . Yousician gives you a structured learning experience with the options to move forward to becoming the guitarist you dream of being. And as you are learning, Yousician to test your abilities on songs You like to play. My only complaint would be number of songs available
